Prevention of spillback using fuzzy control at the traffic intersection 模糊控制在交叉口防溢流中的应用

Traffic flows on intersection approaches can be obtained by using automatic counting machines. Nowadays many methods have been proposed for obtaining estimates of turning flows from traffic counts of which the most popular uses a loop detector at the traffic intersections. Measurements of queue length and vehicle delays are important to determine the optimal traffic cycle, but the conventional traffic signal system doesn't consider passenger car unit, offset, and saturation of upper road. So, 27-35% of estimated traffic cycle isn't matched to the observed traffic cycle. In this paper, we improve the vehicle waiting time at the traffic intersection and prevent spillback using fuzzy logic.

Multiple hypotheses tracking for maneuvering targets in clutter environment 杂波环境下机动目标的多假设跟踪

In this paper, an optimal filter for maneuvering target tracking in clutter environment is derived by combining measurement association hypotheses and target model transition hypotheses. The optimal filter is not realizable since it should consider exponentially increasing hypotheses. To reduce the hypotheses, a new hypotheses pruning technique is proposed. And then a realizable suboptimal filter is suggested. Simulation results show that the proposed filter produces smaller estimation errors and takes better track maintenance than the interacting multiple model probabilistic data association filter.

Balanced truncation preserving poles in a specified disk 在指定磁盘中平衡截断保留极点

In this paper, a model reduction method for linear time invariant stable system whose poles locate in a specified disk on the complex left half plane is considered. In this reduction method the domain in which the poles of the original system locate is preserved. This method is based on the balanced truncation technique that is often used for reducing high order stable system by a low order stable one. A lot of properties of the balanced truncation technique are maintained. Furthermore, the error bound is evaluated using Hankel singular values of the original system.

Application of oil-hydraulic actuator for active suspension of railway vehicle: experimental study 油液作动器在铁道车辆主动悬架中的应用:实验研究

The application of oil-hydraulic actuators for active suspension of railway vehicles has been examined experimentally by using a 3-DOF half-vehicle model. The LQG control law was adopted, in which state variables were estimated from measurable ones on the actual railway vehicle. The results show the possibility that the controllable frequency range extends with the oil-hydraulic actuator. The addition of bogie acceleration measurement to body related measurement provides a significant advantage for the performance. When actual body weight becomes lighter than that of the controller design value, the control performance and the stability deteriorate. Therefore, it is recommended to use the empty car body weight for design of the active suspension controller. The control effect can reach to the maximum vibration isolation level by shortening the sampling period to 2 ms.

A view-time based potential field method for moving obstacle avoidance 一种基于视时的移动避障势场方法

This paper proposes a new motion planning method of a mobile robot avoiding moving obstacles. We use an artificial potential field method and the view-time concept. The view-time is defined as the period between one sampling time to the next. It is assumed that the position and the velocity of obstacles are monitored at each sampling time. From the position and velocity at sampling time, we calculate the probability density of the obstacle trajectory for a view-time, based on the assumption that the obstacle motion is being modeled as a random walk process. The probability that the position can be swept by an obstacle during a view-time is calculated from the probability density function of the obstacle trajectory. Then artificial potential is assigned at every position by considering the probability of obstacle trajectory. The force induced by the artificial potential field repels the robot away from the probable obstacle trajectory. This method is a look ahead scheme and is effective for moving obstacle avoidance.

Idea generation supporting system based on FISM/fuzzy 基于FISM/fuzzy的创意生成支持系统

The field of computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) focuses on the role of computer technology in group work. CSCW examines how people work together in groups and how computer technology can support them. FISM (flexible interpretive structural modeling), developed by the author, is a method to develop structural models of complex systems. In this paper, we propose the method of idea generation based on FISM/fuzzy: fuzzy flexible interpretive structural modeling. FISM/fuzzy is a fuzzy version of FISM. Some theoretical results which enable logical and efficient modeling are derived. The process of idea generation by FISM/fuzzy is called the FISM/fuzzy session.

Evaluation of tracking filter performance for maneuvering targets in dense environment 密集环境下机动目标跟踪滤波性能评价

A new method for maneuvering target tracking in a dense environment is presented. This is an extension and improvement of the conventional joint probabilistic data association. The maneuver acceleration is assumed to be limited to a time invariant set of discrete values and switched values according to the Markov process. In this method, the maneuver of a target increases the prediction covariance as compared with that obtained by standard Kalman filter equations, and so, the validation gate size varies automatically with the maneuver of the target. The performance of this method is evaluated in terms of tracking success rates by computer simulation.

Genetic based concept learning from positive examples 从积极的例子中学习基于基因的概念

"Version space" proposed by Mitchell (1977) is a typical method of the concept learning from training examples, but this method has some points which can be improved. The purpose of this paper is to construct a flexible learning mechanism which can be applied to the critical points. To do this, the method of concept learning based on genetic algorithm is proposed. The important features of the algorithm are as follows: 1) the system is able to learn the target concept formed by a disjunctive normal form; and 2) if there are some incorrect examples in training examples set, the algorithm will reduce them and generate a correct target concept. This function is called "noise reduction". Finally, the algorithm is able to learn the target concept from a positive example set. Especially, we note the third feature that is the ability of learning from positive examples.

System engineering analysis of fibrinolysis by plasmin: transient behaviors and linear properties 纤溶蛋白纤维蛋白溶解的系统工程分析:瞬态行为和线性特性

System analysis was applied to the fibrinolysis system by plasmin. The behaviors of plasminogen activating factor, activating enzyme, plasmin, plasminogen, plasmin substrate, reacted products and intermediate products are expressed by rate equations. The temporal changes in the concentrations of components in the system are consistent to physiological observation. Because plasminogen and plasmin substrate exist in sufficient amount, the system is reduced to a linear one. Fibrinolysis system is unstable and insensitive to changes in rate constants while it is controllable. The most critical process is producing the activating enzyme and the free plasmin. The behaviors of plasminogen activating factor, activating enzyme, plasmin, plasminogen, plasmin substrate, reacted products and intermediate products are expressed by rate equations. The temporal changes in the concentrations of components in the system are consistent to physiological observation. Because plasminogen and plasmin substrate exist in sufficient amount, the system is reduced to a linear one. Fibrinolysis system is unstable and insensitive to changes in rate constants while it is controllable. The most critical process is producing the activating enzyme and the free plasmin.
