Export market orientation has always been a central issue in the study of international business and marketing. Therefore, it is essential to put effort into understanding the concept and its application in real-life business. Following in-depth studies and critical review papers in previous years, this research paper focuses on synthesizing and analyzing empirical studies in the period from 2015 to 2021, revolving around theoretical issues, context, the main features of the object, and the methodology. Within a predetermined time frame, twenty critical papers on export market orientation were selected and analyzed. The result reveals in detail that there are sixteen antecedents and five outcomes of export market orientation, as well as the total of eight moderators and seven mediators influencing their relationships. Findings have indicated that in recent years, models and theories of earlier eras have been developed and many of them have reached maturity.

The study aims to identify factors influencing labor outsourcing and analyze the impact of outsourced resources on small and medium enterprises’ financial performance in the Mekong Delta. Based on theories (including TCE, CCT, RT, and SCT theory), previous studies, and expert interviews, this research model has been developed and tested in SMEs in the Mekong Delta. The study collected data from administrators at 409 SMEs who used outsourced labor services in the last two years. Analytical methods are used, including Cronbach’s Alpha test, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research results show that outsourcing depends on the functional characteristics of enterprises, risk control, managers’ attitude, and relationships in outsourcing. The study also confirms that labor outsourcing positively affects financial performance. However, the relationship between the use of outsourced resources and enterprises’ financial performance is very modest. Based on the research results, the authors also suggest managerial implications to improve SMEs’ performance through outsourcing.

The present study examines the effects of dimensions of Memorable Tourism Experience (MTE) scale on domestic tourists’ revisit intention to Danang tourist destination. An online survey of 309 tourists who has visited Danang for data analysis. The structural equation model is applied to investigate the relationships between MTE’s dimensions and tourist’s revisit intention. The results show that four dimensions of MTE (Novelty, Involvement, Hedonism, and Local Culture) have significant positive relationships with domestic tourists’ revisit intention. In contrast, Knowledge is found to affect tourists’ revisit intention negatively. Overall, the study contributes to the literature on memorable tourism experiences by offering theoretical and empirical evidence about interrelationships between the dimensions of memorable tourism experiences and tourists’ revisit intention. The results from this paper provide suggestions for enhancing memorable tourism experiences and encouraging tourists to return to Danang. Future studies should replicate the study in diverse samples such as geographic regions participants with different travel motives. Besides, future research should include destination attributes since tourists’ perceptions of the destination after the trip are based on on-site experiences and determine memorable tourism experiences.

Although simulation modeling is a popular method in doing scientific research for many disciplines, namely decision science, optimization, information technology. Social science disciplines, particularly business and management, still receive little attention in applying this method. The paper introduces simulation modeling as an effective method in doing business and management research using Dimensions database and comparative analysis to explore (1) suitability and contribution in general disciplines as well as business and management, (2) advantages and disadvantages, (3) common types of models, and (4) effective software that researchers could use for specific research problems. The findings of this study confirm that simulation modeling is an effective method in doing business and management research thanks to its abilities in dynamics reflecting the real world, abstracted illustration, and naturally accommodating more plausible behavioral assumptions. However, modelers need to be aware of computational possibilities, the model’s complexity, and validity which might impact the simulated research results. The objective of this study is a calling for more simulation-based research to tackle complicated study problems related to business organizations with advanced technology and powerful tools listed in the paper. Thus, modelers are served well by this work as a reference for basic knowledge related to simulation modeling in business and management research.

The purpose of this article is to assess the current situation of production and consumption of Unburnt Building Materials (UBMs) in the Mekong Delta, thereby proposing solutions to promote the consumption of UBMs in the Mekong Delta in the coming time. Research results from the survey of producers and customers organized as well as discussions with local officials show that the whole Mekong Delta has more than 120 producers consuming through 02 main channels. Sales channels that direct customers are construction contractors - organizational customers (accounting for 90%) and through construction material trading companies (about 10%). In general, both the production and consumption of UBMs in the Mekong Delta face difficulties. Limited production capacity, limited capacity of UBMs, and low consumer confidence in UBM products are typical difficulties. Planning for the development of UBMs, organizing production to improve the innovation capacity of manufacturers and construction contractors, strengthening the link between manufacturers and UBMs consuming partners, promoting product branding products, enhancing sales promotion innovation activities, etc. are the main solutions to promote this industry to develop more in the Mekong Delta in the coming time.

Using findings on existing literature from 1986 to 2020, this paper provides an overview on understanding the theories, the determinants to explain bribery offering behavior, and the influence of paying bribes on firm performance. Based on our knowledge, we have found that there are three common theories including principal agent, residual control right and bargaining power theories that researchers have used to understand the motivation of paying bribes. Extant studies have shown supportive evidence that alongside business environment, both firm factors and business owner and manager characteristics have significant effects on a decision of paying bribes. Firms with high vulnerable exposure, such as young firms, firms with small and medium sizes, firms depending much on public services, or service firms, are more likely to pay bribes than others. Previous studies show both positive and negative effects of paying bribes on firm performance. However, vulnerable firms seem not to get many benefits when employing bribe payments.
