Contribution of Learning Interest, Self-Efficacy, Peer Support and Learning Motivation to Students' Learning Independence 学习兴趣、自我效能感、同伴支持和学习动机对学生学习自主性的影响

This research aims to determine the contribution of learning interest, self-efficacy, peer support, and learning motivation to students’ learning independence. Employing a correlational research design, the study involved 100 students from two different junior high schools located in Malang, Indonesia. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire designed to measure each of the variables. The analysis revealed that each of the factors learning interest, self-efficacy, peer support, and learning motivation significantly contributes to students' learning independence. Furthermore, the collective influence of these factors underscores the importance of fostering a supportive learning environment that enhances student engagement, confidence, and motivation. These findings suggest that educational strategies aimed at increasing interest, bolstering self-efficacy, encouraging peer support, and motivating students can effectively promote greater learning independence, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes. This study adds to the growing body of literature on the factors influencing student independence and provides practical insights for educators and policymakers.

Abstract: Recently, social media has been an integral part of adolescents’ life, serving as a medium for their self-actualization. On the other hand, adolescents use social media for hostile activities, such as bullying. This study describes Instagram as a platform for cyberbullying as it allows students to demonstrate their hedonist lifestyle. In this study, we used a descriptive qualitative approach. For the data collection, we involved two senior high school students, who were selected through purposive sampling with the criteria of undertaking cyberbullying acts to fulfill their needs for a hedonist lifestyle. The data were collected through structured interviews and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consisted of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The data validity was examined using the data triangulation technique. Our findings suggested that students commit cyberbullying to fulfill their lifestyle and attain recognition from their surroundings. Thus, the school’s guidance and counseling service should further regard our findings in providing the guidance and counseling services.Abstrak: Media sosial telah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan remaja sebagai media aktualisasi diri. Di sisi lain, remaja juga memanfaatan media sosial untuk hal-hal yang bersifat negatif, salah satunya adalah bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Instagram sebagai ruang cyberbullying untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gaya hidup hedonis siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitiatif deskriptif. Subjek utama adalah dua orang siswa SMA yang ditetapkan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria siswa yang melakukan cyberbullying untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gaya hidup hedonisnya. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara tak berstruktur dan studi dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang cenderung melakukan tindakan cyberbullying di instagram bertujuan untuk memenuhi gaya hidup dan mendapat pengakuan dari lingkungan sekitar. Implikasi temuan penelitian ini terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling dibahas lebih lanjut.

Development of Guidebook for Rational Emotive Behavior Counseling to Improve Vocational High School Students’ Career Self-Efficacy 《理性情绪行为辅导指南》的研制提高高职学生的职业自我效能感

Abstract: Career decision-making of vocational high school students is still something that does not receive serious attention and causes students to experience career decision difficulties. One of the causes of difficulty in making career decisions is students' lack of confidence in their abilities. This study aims to develop a guidebook for rational emotive behavior counseling (REBC) which is intended for school counselors. REBC counseling can help counselees to understand their cognitive conditions that lead to emotional disturbances so that counselees can change irrational thoughts and understand the consequences of their behavior. The guidebook that was developed contains material on career self-efficacy, REBC counseling, and procedures for implementing REBC counseling in six stages of counseling sessions. This development research uses research and development methods from Borg and Gall with research procedures that have been adapted to the conditions of the research field. The guidebook validity test was carried out by one expert who tested the material, one media expert, and two school counselors as potential users by taking into account the accuracy assessment, usability assessment, convenience assessment, and attractiveness assessment. The results of the material and media expert test were analyzed using the average, while the results of the prospective user test were analyzed using the inter-rater agreement. The test results show that the guidebook gets a high score and it can be concluded that the REBC counseling guide that has been developed is suitable for use by school counselors in implementing REBC in order to increase the career self-efficacy of vocational high school students.Abstrak: Pengambilan keputusan karier siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan masih menjadi suatu hal yang kurang mendapat perhatian serius dan menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan keputusan karier. Salah satu penyebab kesulitan mengambil keputusan karier adalah ketidakyakinan siswa terhadap kemampuan yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sebuah buku panduan konseling rational emotive behavior counseling (REBC) yang diperuntukan bagi konselor sekolah. Konseling REBC dapat membantu konseli untuk memahami kondisi kognitifnya yang mengakibatkan gangguan emosional, sehingga konseli dapat merubah pikiran irasional dan memahami konsekuensi dari tingkah lakunya. Development of Stress Management Guidebook to Prevent Academic Burnout on Vocational High School Students 预防中职学生学业倦怠压力管理指南的编制

Abstract: Students must be aware of academic burnout, as it can reduce their learning achievement. This study aims to develop a stress management guidebook to prevent academic burnout in vocational high school students. This guidebook can be used by counselors as a reference in providing guidance services to vocational students who have problems related to academic burnout. This manual is equipped with an academic burnout scale to measure the level of student academic burnout. The development model in this study used the Borg and Gall development research design. In this study, we used five stages, consisting of pre-survey, product design, design validation, product testing, and final product preparation. The research instruments were material expert assessment instruments, media expert assessment instruments, and assessment instruments for prospective product users. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive percentages and inter-rater agreement. The results of the study indicated that the stress management guide meets the acceptability criteria, so it is appropriate to be used as a medium for counselors to facilitate the development of students’ stress management to prevent academic burnout.Abstrak: Academic burnout merupakan kondisi siswa yang penting untuk diperhatikan karena dapat menurunkan prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan manajemen stress untuk mencegah academic burnout pada siswa SMK. Buku panduan ini dapat digunakan oleh konselor sebagai acuan dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan kepada siswa SMK yang memiliki permasalahan terkait academic burnout. Buku panduan ini dilengkapi dengan skala academic burnout untuk mengukur tingkat academic burnout siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengadaptasi desain penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall. Langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan diawali dengan lima langkah yaitu pra survei, desain produk, validasi desain, uji coba produk dan penyusunan produk akhir. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah instrumen penilaian ahli materi, instrumen penilaian ahli media, dan instrumen penilaian calon pengguna produk. Teknik analisis yang digunakan berupa deskriptif persentase dan inter-rater agreement. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panduan manajemen stress memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media bagi konselor dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kemampuan manajemen stress siswa untuk mencegah academic burnout.

Abstract: This research and development aims to produce a podcast-based disputing irrational belief media to increase the self-confidence for victims of body shaming in high school students. This podcast is named the #PULIH podcast which is an audio visual medium and can be listened to independently through the Youtube platform. The #PULIH podcast consists of five episodes with different topics. Each episode discusses the aspect that will be changed, namely the perception of the physical by using the technique of disputing irrational belief. This research and development adapts the five stages of the Borg and Gall development model, namely the information collecting stage, planning stage, prototype development stage, initial field trial, and product revision stage. The initial field trial has three stages, namely the material expert test, the media expert test and the prospective user (student) test. The purpose of the assessment of experts and prospective users to determine the acceptability of the media which includes aspects of accuracy, usability, convenience, and attractiveness. Data analysis using the inter-rater agreement. The results of the expert and prospective user tests overall show a very high validation index. It is concluded that the podcast-based disputing irrational belief media is very appropriate, useful, easy, and interesting to increase the self-confidence for victims of body shaming in high school students.Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan media disputing irrational belief berbasis podcast untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri korban body shaming pada siswa sekolah menengah atas. Podcast ini ini diberi nama podcast #PULIH yang merupakan media audio visual dan dapat didengarkan secara mandiri melalui platform Youtube. Podcast #PULIH terdiri dari lima episode dengan pembahasan yang berbeda-beda. Setiap episodenya membahas aspek persepsi tentang fisik dengan menggunakan teknik disputing irrational belief. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengadaptasi lima tahapan dari model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yaitu tahap pengumpulan informasi, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan prototype, uji coba lapangan awal, dan tahap revisi produk. Uji coba lapangan awal terdapat tiga tahap yaitu uji ahli materi, uji ahli media dan uji calon pengguna (siswa). Analisis data menggunakan inter-rater agreement. Hasil penilaian uji ahli dan calon pengguna secara keseluruhan menunjukkan indeks validasi yang sangat tinggi. Keefektifan Teknik Cognitive Restructuring untuk Meningkatkan Kejujuran Akademik Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas

Abstract: A number of problems are seen as a result of poor academic honesty. This study aims to identify the efficiency of cognitive restructuring counseling in improving the academic honesty of senior high school students. By using A-B single subject reversal, the intervention was carried out by providing personal counseling using the cognitive restructuring technique. In collecting the data, we used Academic Honesty Psychological Scale, while the obtained data were analyzed using visual analysis. The findings indicate that individual counseling using cognitive restructuring is effective in enhancing students’ academic honesty. Also, positive self-perception and environment facilitate students to present high academic honesty and vice versa, as illustrated by the trend of higher academic honesty during the intervention phase.Abstrak: Pada jenjang sekolah menengah atas (SMA) masih sering ditemui permasalahan akibat rendahnya kejujuran akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan konseling dengan teknik cognitive restructuring untuk meningkatkan kejujuran akademik siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain subjek tunggal reversal A-B. Intervensi dilakukan dengan memberikan konseling individual teknik cognitive restructuring. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Psikologis Kejujuran Akademik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konseling individu dengan teknik cognitive restructuring efektif untuk meningkatkan kejujuran akademik. Persepsi diri dan lingkungan yang positif menghasilkan kejujuran akademik yang tinggi, begitu pula sebaliknya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari tren kejujuran akademik ke arah yang lebih tinggi pada fase intervensi.Kata kunci:

Abstract: Aside from school, guidance and counseling service can also be provided at the Children’s Special Guidance Institute. Guidance and counseling are essential for child prisoners as it aids them in achieving their development tasks. However, up to recently, child prisoners have not had maximum access to guidance and counseling services due to limited human resources. This study used literature studies and documentary methods involving scientific articles, laws, books, or other works and studies related to the position of child prisoners in criminal cases.Abstrak: Pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling tidak hanya dapat digunakan di lingkungan sekolah namun juga dapat dilaksanakan pada Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). Perlunya layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada narapidana anak di penjara salah satunya adalah untuk membantu anak mencapai tugas perkembangan. Pada kenyataan di lapangan, narapidana anak masih belum dapat pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling secara maksimal karena keterbatasan sumber daya manusia. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah studi literatur dan dokumen, dimana peneliti melakukan studi kepustakaan berupa artikel, undang-undang, buku- ataupun jenis tulisan lainnya dan hasil kajian terhadap berbagai macam dokumen yang terkait dengan topik penempatan narapidana anak dalam kasus hukum pidana.

Abstract: Cangkrukan is an activity that feels right to be held in order to develop a Javanese label so that it can be realized according to the steps of the KIPAS model counseling. This study aims to provide a design for the implementation of cangkrukan activities as an affirmation of Javanese identity through KIPAS model counseling. This study reveals the labels of Javanese people with the method of symbolic interactionism. The subjects studied were customers of the Upa Jiwo coffee shop in the Merjosari area, Malang City. Data analysis uses three stages of data analysis from symbolic interactionism, namely description, categorization and connection. The results show that there are several labels that characterize Javanese humans, namely trimo ing pandhum, unggah-ungguh, andhap asor, tepa selira, aja adigang adigung adiguna, and guyub rukun. These labels will be used as the theme of discussion in cangkrukan activities organized by the counselor with the counselee.Abstrak: Cangkrukan merupakan aktivitas yang dirasa tepat sekali untuk diselenggarakan guna mengembangkan label jawa sehingga dapat direalisasikan sesuai langkah-langkah dari konseling model KIPAS. Penelitian ini mengungkap label-label dari manusia jawa dengan metode interaksionisme simbolik. Subjek yang diteliti adalah pelanggan warung kopi Upa Jiwo di daerah Merjosari Kota Malang. Data analisis menggunakan tiga tahap analisis data dari interaksionisme simbolik yaitu deskripsi, kategorisasi dan konekting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat beberapa label-label yang menjadikan ciri khas dari manusia jawa yaitu trimo ing pandhum, unggah-ungguh, andhap asor, tepa selira, aja adigang adigung adiguna, dan guyub rukun. Label-label tersebut akan dijadikan tema bahasan dalam aktivitas cangkrukan yang diselenggarakan oleh konselor dengan konseli.

Implementasi Keterampilan Dasar Komunikasi Konselor Sebaya dalam Konseling Online 在线咨询中同伴沟通技巧的基本应用

Abstract: This study aims to understand the peer counselors’ fundamental communication skills during online counseling in Peer Counseling Corner (PCC). In this phenomenology study, we gathered data through interviews, while the data validity was confirmed through data triangulation. The obtained data were analyzed using the data horizontalization analysis. Our results indicated that the peer counselors did not implement some basic communication skills during the online counseling, such as discussion initiation, rejection (preventing and prohibiting), confrontation, and silence. Their challenges in implementing the basic communication skills include less capable of identifying the non-verbal responses from the counselees, the counselors’ decreased verbal communication skills during the counseling via chat, a time limit that does not properly function, problems in the implementation of advice, difficulties in applying the reflection of feeling, network issues, as well as the different feel and values between the offline and online counseling.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan keterampilan dasar komunikasi dalam konseling online oleh konselor sebaya di Peer Counseling Corner (PCC). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis rancangan fenomenologi, pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data, analisis data menggunakan analisis data horizonalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat keterampilan dasar komunikasi yang tidak diterapkan dalam konseling online oleh konselor sebaya di PCC yaitu inisiasi pembicaraan, rejection (melarang, mencegah), confrontation (konfrontasi) serta silent (diam). Kendala penerapan keterampilan dasar komunikasi yaitu kurang dapat mengidentifikasi respon non verbal yang ditunjukkan konseli, kurang dapat menunjukkan empati kepada konseli, kapasitas konselor untuk berkomunikasi secara verbal berkurang apabila konseling dilaksanakan via chat, seringkali time limit tidak berjalan dengan baik, kendala dalam penerapan advice, kesulitan menerapkan reflection of feeling, adanya kendala jaringan serta perbedaan feel dan value antara konseling offline dan juga konseling online.

Analisis Student Well-Being dan Gratitude dengan Perilaku Prososial Siswa di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 在Covid-19大流行期间,对学生的社会性行为进行分析

Abstract: The pro-social behavior is one of the contributing factors to students’ success in developing society’s healthy social interaction. This study aims to investigate the correlation between students’ collective well-being and gratitude with their pro-social behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study involved eighth grader students of junior high school students. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The samples were selected using the total sampling of 201 students, while the data were garnered through the students’ well-being, gratitude, and pro-social behavior scales. The scales were constructed using the Likert scale, distributed online through Google Forms. The data analysis was carried out using product correlation moment through Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 26. Our results showed a positive and significant correlation between students’ well-being with their pro-social behavior, positive and significant correlation between gratitude and pro-social behavior, as well a positive and significant collective relation between students’ well-being and gratitude with their pro-social behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic.Abstrak: Perilaku prososial merupakan salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan siswa dalam mengembangkan interaksi sosial yang sehat di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara student well-being dan gratitude secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku prososial di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada siswa kelas delapan sekolah menengah pertama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan mengambil seluruh siswa kelas delapan sejumlah 201 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala student well-being, gratitude dan perilaku prososial. Skala dikembangkan menggunakan skala Likert, yang dibagikan secara online melalui Google Forms. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dengan bantuan Ms. Excel dan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara student well-being dengan perilaku prososial; hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gratitude dengan perilaku prososial; serta ada hubungan positif signifikan antara student well-being dan gratitude terhadap perilaku prososial subjek di masa pandemi Covid-19.
