This study aimed to (1) to identify levels of self-efficacy of 10th-grade students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta, (2) identify academic procrastination of 10th-grade students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta, and (3) identify the relationship between the two variables among 10th-grade students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. This quantitative, correlational study involved 167 10th-grade students as the population. Participants were recruited using a simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula as a determinant of the number of samples, 118. Techniques used in data collection are distributing self-efficacy scales and academic procrastination scales. The instrument validity was confirmed using expert and construct validity, while its reliability was tested using Cronbach’s alpha with SPSS 26. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques to see the self-efficacy and academic procrastination levels and test the proposed hypotheses. The descriptive analysis result showed that most 10th-grade students (n=82) have a moderate level of self-efficacy (i.e., 69.5%), and most of them (n=84) also have an average level of academic procrastination (71.2%). The hypothesis test result indicates that self-efficacy is negatively and significantly associated with academic procrastination, as shown by a coefficient of -0.791. Suggestions for further research are to conduct experimental research to increase self-efficacy and reduce academic procrastination.

The research method used is a literature study. The primary research data is 21 national and international articles. The article selection criteria are: meet both variables, carried out within the last ten years. Data collection techniques use documentation as well, as data analysis techniques using content analysis. The results of the study: (1) The targets were students who pursued formal education at the high school level who were identified as having behavioural problems with academic procrastination; (2) The implementation procedures in this study generally include self-monitoring, positive reinforcement, self-contracting, self-control, and follow-up; and (3) the successful implementation of self-management to overcome academic procrastination behaviour in the form of a significant decrease in the level of academic procrastination. Based on 21 articles that researchers have analyzed, it shows that the achievement of the effectiveness of self-management in academic procrastination reaches 100%. Researchers are further advised to test the efficacy of self-management techniques to overcome academic procrastination behaviours for learners. This research aims to examine the application of art therapy, which includes targets and scope, techniques, procedures, and the success of animal-assisted treatment for reducing personal anxiety. The research method used is a literature review. The data source used is 24 research journals show a connection with the problem to be studied. The data collection technique used is documentation (document analysis). The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The steps of content analysis were carried out by searching for data, collected, and analyzed will be checked through inter-literature checks. The result of this study is 1) The target of Animal-assisted Therapy is young children to adults who are female and male with a range of ages from 5 to 54. 2) The Techniques of Animal-assisted Therapy involve interacting with therapeutic animals, such as playing, petting, talking with animals, feeding, and drinking. 3) The procedures of Animal-assisted Therapy consist of 3 main stages: preparation stage, therapy/counseling stage, and termination stage. Animal-assisted Therapy can be conducted in groups and individuals. 4) The successful use of Animal-assisted Therapy for reducing personal anxiety is effective and reduces the level of anxiety experienced by everyone. This study recommends that Animal-assisted Therapy can be an alternative guidance and counseling service in collaboration with other counseling approaches.

This study aimed to (1) describe the process of selecting articles the literature on the implication of self-care on professional helpers’ psychological well-being, (2) describe the role of self-care in professional helpers’ psychological well-being, (3) depict the self-care for professional helpers’ psychological well-being, and (4) describe the form of self-care for professional helpers’ psychological well-being. This approach extends the current knowledge and provides a basis for the policy- making process and practice. The data were collected from twenty-five articles in electronic databases. The data were documented following Siddaway, Wood, and Hedges’ (2018) proposed stages. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. Relevant articles were analyzed in-depth to extract necessary information. This study found the selection process for articles in this study was carried out through selecting duplicate articles, selecting titles and/or abstracts, and selecting the entire contents of the articles. Articles agreed that self-care might affect professional helpers’ psychological well-being. Articles view self-care for professional helpers’ psychological well-being as an activity to care for themselves and their profession. Articles divided self-care for professional helpers into two categories: personal self-care and professional self-care. Although studies on self-care for professional helpers’ psychological well-being have been conducted, further understanding of self-care for professional helpers is still necessary. Thus, professional helper associations are recommended to conduct training and monitor self-care implementation. Future studies are recommended to obtain field evidence of self-care to maintain psychological well-being.

The present study aims to : (1) describe students' online game addiction and academic achievement in SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta, (2) examine the relationship between online game addiction and academic achievement. This correlational study involved 155 11th-grade students in SMAN 8 Surakarta, recruited using the cluster sampling technique. The data were collected using the author's online game addiction questionnaire and the final exam results for mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and English subjects in the 2021/2022 academic year. The validity test covered the construct and empirical validity, while the reliability was determined using Cronbach's Alpha with SPSS 25. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result showed that most students have moderate online game addiction (82%, n= 127) and moderate academic achievement (62%, n =96). The hypothesis result showed a significance value of 0.015 and a correlation coefficient of 0.195, indicating that the hypothesis was supported. In other words, students' online game addiction level is associated with their academic achievement. Future studies are recommended to explore other factors affecting students' academic achievement, such as learning motivation, intelligence, and learning style.

This study aims to reveal and describe the guidance and counseling services for children with special needs at inclusive schools. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The subject of this research is a guidance and counseling teacher who is the coordinator of guidance and counseling at SMP Negeri 168 Jakarta. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used interviews and documentation. There is no special role for guidance anda counseling teachers for students with special needs. The role of Guidance and Counseling for children with special needs at SMP Negeri 168 Jakarta is the same as for other children. The absence of a special supervising teacher has resulted in guidance and counseling teachers being asked to carry out this role to directly deal with special needs students. guidance and counseling teachers do not have a special guidance and counseling program for special needs students. The provision of guidance and counseling services to students with special needs successfully handles students with special needs who find it difficult to focus. Guidance and counseling also succeeded in dealing with special needs students with low learning motivation to become more interested in learning.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the implementation of group counseling through self-management techniques that can reduce student academic procrastination in junior high school students. The background that underlies this research is because many students still do academic procrastination so it also has an impact on their learning process. The type of research used is guidance and counseling action research through pre-action and 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results of the pre-action research obtained an average of 74.2 then given the action in the first cycle obtained an average score of 63.8. In cycle II it decreased with an average score of 54.8 whereas in this cycle 5 subjects were not in the high category. This study concludes that group counseling self-management techniques can be used as an alternative to reducing academic procrastination behavior.

The background that underlies this research is because many students still do academic procrastination so it also has an impact on their learning process. The type of research used is guidance and counseling action research through pre-action and 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results of the pre-action research obtained an average of 74.2 then given the action in the first cycle obtained an average score of 63.8. In cycle II it decreased with an average score of 54.8 whereas in this cycle 5 subjects were not in the high category. Abstract: Tolerance is the attitude of respecting, accepting and appreciating the world's cultural diversity. This study aims to determine the implementation of the monopoly game technique group guidance in increasing the tolerance of high school students. The type of research used is Guidance and Counseling Action Research. The subjects of this study were 10 students in a low tolerance category. The treatment used was the simulation game. Simulation game is a game technique in learning inspired from real life situation. The study was carried out in pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II stages. The analysis of the data used was descriptive quantitative implemented in providing a detailed explanation of quantitative data by comparing the results of the questionnaire scores before and after the action using statistics. Based on the results of the study, the pre-cycle scoreas 1,089 with an average of 108.9, the score of the first cycle was 1,148 obtained with an average of 114.8, and in the second cycle, a score of 1,286 was obtained with an average of 128.6. These results indicate an increase in the score for each student. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be seen that the implementation of the monopoly game technique group guidance in increasing the tolerance.

Abstract: This research and development aim to produce a product in the form of an achievement motivation training guidebook to improve academic efikasi diri for junior high school students in Karanganyar. This study uses a research and development design but is limited to expert validity testing. The subject of this product is 2 guidance and counseling experts. The data used to measure the level of product validity are expert test questionnaires and analyzed using the inter-rater agreement model. The results of the expert validity test analysis using the inter-rater model are in the very high category. for the LKPD book, the results of the validity test are 0.95 which belongs to the very high category. From these results, it is hoped that the next researcher can proceed to the next stage, namely the practicality test and the effectiveness test.Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa buku panduan achievement motivation training untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri akademik pada peserta didik SMP di Karanganyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan, namun terbatas hanya sampai dilakukan uji validitas ahli. Subjek produk ini adalah 2 orang ahli bimbingan dan konseling. Data yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat validitas produk yaitu angket uji ahli dan dianalisis menggunakan inte-rater agreement model. Hasil analisis uji validitas ahli menggunakan inter-rater model masuk pada kategori sangat tinggi. untuk buku LKPD hasil uji validitasnya adalah sebesar 0,95 yang tergolongan kategori sangat tinggi. Dari hasil tersebut diharapkan peneliti berikutnya dapat melanjutkan ke tahap selanjutnya yaitu uji kepraktisan dan uji keefektifan.
