Most of existing floorplanning algorithms evaluate the target area after packing all of the blocks, but random perturbation will make the target area larger or less unpredictably. In this paper, a unified non-slicing area prejudged transitive closure graph (AP-TCG) algorithm is proposed, which can estimate the target area before packing. AP-TCG can indicate whether the perturbation is beneficial to the area. We discard the adverse perturbation and continue to the next permutation. This technology always makes the target area less and less. Unlike most of the existing floorplanner algorithms, APTCG is performing without Simulated Annealing (SA) scheme because of its self-convergence property. Inherited the nice properties from geometric representation of transitive closure graph (TCG), the solution space is finite (n!*n!) and every solution is feasible. The experimental results from MCNC and GSRC benchmarks show that our algorithm is efficient and effective.

It is quite difficult to adapt to the changing production scheduling problem for an algorithm of a certain question. According to this, a strategy of dynamic integrated iterative search algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the relationship model of production problem and algorithm is built. Secondly, the framework of the iterative search algorithm is proposed. On the basis of these, the strategy of dynamic integrated iterative search algorithm based on multi agent is put forward, which can easily adapt to the changeable workshop production environment. The experimental results show the effectiveness and adaptability of the system.

With respect to multiple attribute decision making problem with triangular fuzzy linguistic information, in which the attribute weights and expert weights take the form of real numbers, and the preference values take the form of triangular fuzzy linguistic variables, a operator for aggregating triangular fuzzy linguistic variables, such as the fuzzy linguistic weighted harmonic mean (FLWHM) operator is introduced. Based on the FLWHM operators, a practical method is developed for group decision making with triangular fuzzy linguistic variables. Finally, an illustrative example about software selection is given to verify the developed approach.

Frequent pattern outlier factor is used to detect outliers with complete frequent itemsets. But it is difficult in real-world time-series data streams application because of its low efficiency. In this paper, we propose a novel maximal frequent pattern outlier factor (MFPOF) and an outlier detection algorithm (OODFP) for online high-dimensional time-series outlier detection. Firstly, the time-series data streams are processed with sliding window to discover maximal frequent itemsets. Then the frequent patterns are simplified to compute the MFPOF of time-series data streams. Experimental results show that our approach not only provides higher efficiency, but also equivalent accuracy.

In this paper, a novel wireless transmission system is proposed. The system is composed of two cascaded subsystem: an inner filtered multitone (FMT) modulator with transmission over multiple antennas, and an outer Single carrier cyclic prefix (SCCP) system. The FMT modulator can efficiently avoid the inter-carrier interference, and with multiple antennas the cyclic delay diversity (CDD) can increase frequency-selectivity by inserting virtual echoes into the effective channel, and thus enhances the diversity of the system. The SCCP subsystem copes with the residual subchannel intersymbol interference. Simulation results show that the BER performance of proposed system is better than DMT-FMT system, and more suitable for the uplink Multiple-Access Channel.

In slope engineering, soils are commonly at unsaturated state. The question of how to apply unsaturated soil mechanics theory to the slope stability analysis has become a hot spot in today’s geotechnical engineering research. Based on the experimental research of how shear strength of residual soil varies with water content, reasonable computation modules can be created. By using limit equilibrium analysis, which includes Bishop, Ordinary and Janbu method, the stability of residual soil slope can be calculated under different water content. Extrapolating from soil water characteristic curve obtained from experiments, the influence of matric suction on unsaturated soil slope is obtained. The importance of matric suction is revealed in the slope stability analysis. The result shows that: as matric suction increases, water content decreases, shear strength decreases, and safety factor of soil slope is improved.

This research takes advantage of the features of the Extensible Markup Language (XML), constructing an Internet-mediated, knowledge-sharing environment where product information management (PIM) is fully implemented. Therein XML files serve as the basic exchange and storage format of knowledge texts in the transaction-matching process. Under this configuration, all sorts of product information stored by the user in the system platform which contains various concepts and related features involving such different fields as the design, production, and marketing of a product, are integrated into the programmed process of an intermediary transaction. With XML technology adopted as the foundation of the programmed intermediary transaction, the transaction knowledge will not only be stored structurally but be transmitted conveniently among the heterogeneous systems of the users, and the file data can be used uniformly. Besides, the specific text file markers and text definitions in the XML make it possible for the users to search the information more accurately, efficiently, and quickly.

In this paper, we are going to propose multi-layered service suite in cloud computing environment. Different cloud computing services are already classified by the researchers. Each of services serves distinct purpose. Here, we propose seven layers of service abstractions which are further named as multi-layered service suite in cloud computing scenario. Each type of service layer is depicted combining different utility services. Proposed service layers have distinct tasks for the purpose of improving service handling. Grouping of services has been conceptualized based on the common context of specific services. One service handling algorithm is further proposed for guiding each ‘cloud service request’ efficiently as the overall cloud utilization increases while handling a huge number of requests from the client side. Here, we propose a formula for determining cloud utilization. Cloud utilization is increased as the number of requests handled by the services grows. This proposed multi-layered service suite is a logical and modularized separation, which helps in describing of each service layer during the design process.

With respect to multiple attribute decision making problems with linguistic information of attribute values and weight values, a decision analysis is proposed. Then, a method based on the ET-WA operator for multiple attribute decision making is presented. In the approach, alternative appraisal values are calculated by the aggregation of 2-tuple linguistic information. Thus, the ranking of alternative or selection of the most desirable alternative(s) is obtained by the comparison of 2-tuple linguistic information. Finally, a numerical example with risk evaluation of high-technology is used to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method.
