Energy aware waveform selection with threshold for SDR protocols switching 基于阈值的能量感知的SDR协议切换波形选择

Software Defined Radio (SDR) concept is becoming the future of mobile device due to its capability of switching between multiple waveforms. However energy consumption is still one of the most critical limitations in mobile applications. SDR needs an advanced selection scheme to choose the most optimized waveform to transmit, especially in term of energy efficiency. This paper proposes to adapt a threshold technique to improve the performance of the selection algorithm.

In this paper, a hands-free input interface is proposed, which enables a teacher to operate his/her graphical contents presented on his/her PC with his/her gestures and voices. Since the proposed system is installed on a standard Windows PC with Kinect, no specialization of the contents is necessary for the system.

Parametric curve for data reconstruction method for reliable communication 参数化曲线数据重构方法实现可靠通信

This paper proposes a method to reconstruct data using parametric curve called Bezier curve. The proposed method suggests the possibility to approximate the damaged data, which have been processed by the error correction scheme. By using the Bezier curve the transmitted data which damaged is reconstructed. This method provides a smoothing effect on damaged data.

Popularity-based hybrid transmission scheme using in-network caching 使用网络内缓存的基于流行度的混合传输方案

A novel CDN system is proposed in this paper, using content router with in-network caching. The performance of proposed system is evaluated based on hybrid multicast scheme such as broadcast scheme and multicast scheme. From the performance evaluation, we observed hybrid multicast scheme outperforms others, by combing their benefit. Therefore we can reduce required server bandwidth with the proposed hybrid multicast scheme.

Inter-vehicular distance estimation scheme based on image sensor 基于图像传感器的车辆间距离估计方案

In this paper, we propose inter-vehicular distance estimation scheme based on image sensor. The captured image by the image sensor includes the rear lamp of the forward vehicle. We have collected the angle information according to distance which is calculated from the vertical line of the midpoint between rear lamp and the position of the rear lamp. Through experiment, we found that it is possible to estimate the distance according to angle by using the angle information collected from several vehicles model.

This paper proposes a straightforward method producing the coarse estimate of an emitter position without the constraints of initialization and sensor-pair combination. The method derives two straight lines from a pair of quadratic TDOA and FDOA curves, and then employs a least squares minimization to estimate the emitter position. Simulation results are included to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm with varying the emitter position.

Novel power MOSFET structure based on LD-MOSFET which has no epitaxial layer is proposed in this paper. The proposed device has the breakdown voltage (BV) as 3.5 times higher than conventional LDMOSFET without increasing the resistance. Also, under the influence of wide n-drift around the oxide, it achieves relatively high Isat due to uniform electric field distribution. In this paper, Silvaco T-CAD tool is utilized to analyze the each device's electrical characteristics.

Review on coupled line cameras and its application in rectangle reconstruction from a single image 耦合线相机及其在单幅图像矩形重建中的应用综述

The concept of coupled line cameras (CLCs) is reviewed as a novel geometric tool in computer vision with special emphasis on the application of perspective reconstruction of an unknown scene rectangle from a given single image taken from an uncalibrated camera. We give real-world examples where the aspect ratio of a scene rectangle can be precisely reconstructed as well as the internal and external camera parameters, assuming a simple camera model.

Non-invertible analysis on Graph-based Hamming Embedding Transform for protecting fingerprint minutiae 基于图的Hamming嵌入变换保护指纹细节的不可逆分析

In this paper, we analyze the non-invertible property of Graph-based Hamming Embedding (GHE) for the purpose of fingerprint template protection. The GHE utilizes a set of geometrical invariant features Minutiae Vicinity Decomposition (MVD); GHE globally embeds the MVD neighborhood structure into a Hamming space via solving a graph-based optimization problem. As a result, a secure binary template is created. Pertaining to the non-invertibility, the resultant binary template is analyzed from two aspects: strong analysis and weak analysis. The result of analysis shows that the GHE template can be strongly protected from inversion.

This paper explores a possibility of identifying material types using fore-aft distance information of an ultrasonic sensor which is changed depending on surface strength. Fore-aft distance data are transformed into frequency domain using FFT and frequency data are analyzed for extracting features of a material type. Sensor data are acquired by a testbed for analysis of a wheel-terrain interaction on four types of a surface; asphalt, sand, gravel and grass.
