Coolhunting for trends on the Web 在网上寻找流行趋势

This paper introduces a new way of measuring the popularity of brand names and famous people such as movie stars, politicians, and business executives. It is based upon the premise that in todaypsilas Internet economy the Web displays a mirror of the real world. Our system uses TeCFlow, a social networking tool developed for the last four years at MIT, to measure popularity and influence of brands and stars by looking at their relative position on the Web. It is based on the simple insight: ldquoYou are who links to yourdquo. It applies the Social Network Analysis( SNA) metric of ldquobetweennessc entralityrdquo to the Web, looking at the linking structure of Web sites to find how Web pages discussing brands and stars are connected. It uses high-betweenness Web sites returned to a search engine query for a brand or star name as a proxy for the significance of this brand or star.

Designing smartcards for collaboration with the WiMAX security sublayer 设计与WiMAX安全子层协作的智能卡

In this paper we introduce smartcards dedicated to emerging WiMAX networks. In such architectures, security services are ensured by a logical entity called the ldquoprivacy sublayerrdquo. We attempt to define collaborative procedures performed by tamper resistant devices, in order to reduce hacking threats and to enhance the trust, both for subscribers and operators.

Extending user-controlled security domain with TPM/TCG in Grid-based virtual collaborative environment 在基于网格的虚拟协作环境中,利用TPM/TCG扩展用户控制的安全域

The paper proposes an integral approach to building multilayer security for Grid based virtual collaborative environment that leverages the general user-controlled complex resource provisioning (CRP-UC) model. The CRP-UC is considered as comprising of three layers: trusted computing platform, secure virtualised workspace, and collaborative/application session. The suggestions on the technology selection are provided for the first two layers: industry adopted Trusted Computing (TCG) platform, and Virtual Workspace Service (VWSS) developed in the framework of the Globus Toolkit. Solutions and implementation are proposed and discussed for the service/application authorisation session and security context management in multidomain applications based on the GAAA Authorisation Framework that can be used with the major service-oriented AuthZ framework. The current implementation of the XML-based authorisation ticket format is discussed and possible extensions to address wider user session management issues are suggested, in particular those related to the TCG-rooted chain of trust and session context negotiation. The paper is based on experiences gained from major Grid based and Grid oriented projects including EGEE, Phosphorus, Globus Toolkit.
