In this paper we consider a surveillance radar with an additional multiscanning observation device. Its functioning is based on coprocessing of the results of several scannings. In each multiscanning observation channel as part of the device the well-known procedure “track-before-detect” is implemented and it is supposed to process echo signals from a different number of space scannings stored in the buffer storage. The efficiency of the proposed multi-channel procedure is analysed.

Nonlinear distortion with memory perturbing the wideband signal in power amplifiers (PAs) is challenging both for analytical treatment and implementation of practical PA linearizers. In the present letter we focus on a simplified cascaded model of the PA memory nonlinearity that enables to approach such problems as the effect of modeling and identification errors and undersampling on the digital predistortion performance. Based on the presented analysis, we propose a cascaded nonlinearity model for predistorter with a 2-step identification algorithm using look-up table to improve stability of the model identification. Proposed model is shown to have significant performance gain compared to conventional memory polynomial nonlinearity model for specific models of PA distortion.

The problem of spatial adjustment of a group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) from the point of view of minimizing the energy consumed is considered. An algorithm for constructing the optimal control of each UAV, providing the total minimum consumption of energy costs for spatial adjustment is introduced. On the basis of the received algorithm the computer model is realized. The results of simulation of different variants of transposition of the group.

Modern global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) receivers use temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO) as generators of reference frequency. One of the parameters of quartz oscillators is its stability to output frequency when oscillators are subject to acceleration and vibrations. Such a stability is assessed by g-sensitivity value. Relatively high g-sensitivity of quartz oscillators can result in large tracking errors within circuits of GNSS receivers operating in hard vibrational-dynamic conditions, up to loss of tracking which negatively affect functional capacities of GNSS receivers. The current paper describes a method of estimating g-sensitivity of TCXO mounted on GNSS receiver printed circuit board (PCB). Experimental results have proved the advantage of this method over other known methods of g-sensitivity assessment for TCXO used in GNSS receivers.

There are computational and empirical approaches to analog-to-digital converter (ADC) selection in digital receiver. Simplified calculation methods are based on the idealized ADC model. These methods take into account only the quantization noise associated with the ADC bits number, sampling frequency, signal-to-noise ratio. The calculation results has estimate character. The structural constraints to the ADC parameters are determined with the receiver realization. They must be considered when ADC choosing. The study of theoretical relationships allows identifying the computational models application area limitations. The performed analysis shows wider correlation of the radio frequency channel parameters and different ADC parameters. It is possible to consider these parameters interrelation from with regard to their effect on the received signal conversion accuracy, and make a ADCs choice based on unified methodological positions.

Requirements for modern radar systems make it necessary to use complex signals. Signal compression during the filtering gives rise to side lobes that can mask the wanted signal and cause false alarms. Lowering the side-lobe level of the autocorrelation function allows solving the problems of detection and resolution of objects with a low effective scattering surface, negative contrast and high interference level. There are hardware and signaling methods to reduce the level of the side lobes of the autocorrelation function. This article studies the hardware methods for reducing the side-lobes level by using an un-matched filter. It describes a method for constructing an inconsistent filter for maximizing the main lobe level with a given level of side lobes. Mathematical modeling of this filter for sequences of phaze manipulation signals, generated on maximum length sequence, was made and illustrated
