This research is aimed at forming the professional competencies of future teacher-biologists by using project-based learning technologies. The study was created in the fall semester of 2022–2023 and was carried out with the participation of 168 students. In the research, a 3-week online training was given to the participant group and this training was designed for the participant groups. When the training was completed in the research, the data collection tool was applied, delivered and collected to the participant groups participating in the study. The analysis of the data was made in the relevant programmes and the findings were added to the research in the presence of tables. As a result of the research, it was seen that the students participating in the research understood the project-based learning technologies and had high values as they expected this relationship to be established. The situation is taken as the basis of the research. It is seen that the biological local study is aimed and designed on the students' application of development technology. The study was designed in the fall term of 2022–2023 and was prepared with 148 participants. The participant groups that made up the study were given training on the problem situation of the research. The main purpose is to help participants develop ‘Technology’ ‘Biological local’ topics and to further their education. Each data and value obtained according to the training of the study was made by frequency analysis, t-test, using the utility program, and the results were written into the research in the presence of tables. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the participant groups easily used development technologies in biological local studies and the application that came with this idea was formed. The research paper aims to address the issue of professional training of future primary school teachers, who will ensure quality education based on the new curriculum by developing their professional competencies. In the research work, the results of questionnaires applied to schoolteachers and students of this specialty were compared and analyzed. The analytical analysis considers the theoretical and methodological issues of increasing the quality of education by introducing alternative subjects into the educational program of the specialty in the higher educational institution, to improve the mastery of pedagogical technologies and the ability to use them in the pedagogical process of the teacher in the training of future primary school teachers. Based on this, a model project for training future primary school students is considered. The model substantiates the problems of being guided by didactic requirements of pedagogical processes organized in each primary class. The purpose of this research; evaluates the methodological aspects of the study of modern geoeconomic processes in the school geography course from the perspective of future biology teachers. This research was designed in the qualitative research method and the data were evaluated in accordance with the qualitative method. 32 future geography teachers studying in geography teaching departments of various universities in Kazakhstan constitute the sample group of the research. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the research. As a result of the research; geography teachers were asked about their perceptions of the concept of geoeconomics. It was determined that they gave the answer to the relationship between geography and economy. The majority of future geography teachers participating in the research; they stated that they partially received geoeconomics training during the teacher training process at the university. The vast majority of teacher candidates; stated that they support the inclusion of modern geoeconomic processes in the school geography course. When future geography teachers were asked for their suggestions on methodological steps in the study of modern geoeconomic processes in a school geography course, the vast majority of prospective teachers; they answered that geography education should be associated with geoeconomics, global economy education should be given and technology education should be given on the basis of economy and geography. The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic still leaves problems, one of which is in the world of education. Online learning has not become the optimal alternative for learning mathematics, especially for elementary school students. Hybrid learning is learning that integrates face-to-face learning and online learning. Learning by including limited face-to-face meetings can be one of the considerations to deal with the characteristic needs of elementary school students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of elementary school students’ mathematics learning motivation in hybrid learning on their learning achievement, the effect of elementary school students' mathematics self-efficacy in hybrid learning on their learning achievement and also the effect of elementary school students' motivation and mathematics self-efficacy in hybrid learning on learning achievement. The method used is regression analysis using SPSS 23.0. Previously, the prerequisite test and normality test were carried out. This research was conducted in 5 schools with a sample of 132 elementary school students. After the research was conducted, the results showed that partially the motivation and self-efficacy variables of students' mathematics influenced students’ achievement. The variable of mathematics self-efficacy affects the achievement of 20.1%. Mathematics self-efficacy affects the achievement of 20.7%. Meanwhile, the two independent variables also influence the learning achievement of elementary school students, which is 23.6%. From these data, it can be seen that the variables of mathematics self-efficacy and student learning motivation together have a more significant effect than their partial effect on elementary school students’ learning achievement. Keywords: Hybrid learning, learning motivation, mathematics self-efficacy, learning achievement.

The problem of assessing students' knowledge is gaining particular importance and relevance. The purpose of the study is to clarify the effectiveness and adequacy of examinations and the assessment of the knowledge of medical students with the help of an online platform through studying the opinions of teachers and students who participated in this process. The students and teachers took part in a hospital therapy exam on the Moodle platform and were subsequently interviewed to reveal their experience. The results of the study showed that according to 67% of students, the level of exam organization was acceptable. Thus, 59% of students positively assessed the process and structure of the exam and found them to be clear and convenient. The research describes a model for the exam organization and assessment in an online learning environment, which consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. Keywords: academic performance, distance learning, medical skills, online exams, testing students' knowledge.

The objective of this empirical study is to conduct a survey among linguistics students and teachers teaching English to non-linguistics students in order to identify possible obstacles to the speaking practice development. The purpose of the study is identification the factors forming obstacles to the speaking practice development from teachers and students’ point of view and correlate them with each other in order to improve the teaching speaking skills. A total of 680 students and 125 teachers participated in the survey. This study is based on a survey of respondents and analysis of its results. Teachers identified the following challenges: class heterogeneity; low motivation; the lack of awareness of the importance of speaking for learning English; and the lack of conditions encouraging the speaking practice. The survey of linguistics students identified the following challenges: the lack of spontaneous speaking, сommunication with native speakers, non-applicability of speech skills in real life, the overall climate in the classroom. The research results can be practically used for improving the educational environment for acquiring spoken language skills and as a basis for other studies in the field of learning environment and English proficiency. Keywords: communication skills, English, language learning, speaking practice, spoken English.

The purpose of this research; the aim of this study is to evaluate the views of biology students on the technology of creating multilingual competencies. In this study, phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was preferred. The study group of the research consists of 80 biology students studying in biology departments at universities in Kazakhstan in the 2022–2023 academic year. The data collection tool of the research is the semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. The content analysis method was used in the analysis of the research data. As a result of the research; it has been revealed that the majority of biology students participating in the research have moderate multilingual proficiency. The majority of biology students who evaluated the possibilities of creating multilingual competence in universities stated that they also found these opportunities at a moderate level. Regarding their motivation to benefit from multilingual competence-building technology, the majority of biology teachers stated that they were highly motivated. The results obtained from the research necessitated the reorganisation of the education given to biology students in universities in order to gain multilingual competence. The research aims to analyse the effectiveness of diagnosing speech disorders in preschool children using computer methods. At the first stage, the sample consisted of 395 children without speech impairments and 120 children with speech impairments. They were tested for understanding complex logical and grammatical structures. At the second stage, the visual-spatial functions of children were assessed using the Rey-Osterrieth complex Figure test. The sample included 120 children with speech impairments, 44 children with special educational needs, and 41 children with a normal level of understanding of logical and grammatical structures. Cognitive functions and their level in each child were examined using the results of 18 tests. For 44 children with phonetic and speech disorders, an innovative method of computer animation was used to correct speech disorders. The results analysis using a computer programme showed improvements in phonemic hearing, sound analysis, and pronunciation.
