Nauczanie czy wychowanie? Rola nauczyciela we współczesnej szkole – oczekiwania rodziców

The article is an attempt to define the expectations of parents of students towards teachers after a difficult period of remote learning forced by the Covid-19 pandemic. During this form of education, the tutors had a chance to observe the teacher while he is working with children and assessing its effects. They could also compare the teaching methods and aids used by different educators. After the period of forced isolation, the parents’ requirements regarding the upbringing support of their children may also have changed. Educational institutions and teachers themselves face the difficult task of reconciling the functions of teacher’s and educator in one. The presented research results present the expectations related to the substantive preparation of the teacher for the profession and with his knowledge in the field of pedagogical and therapeutic support.

Supporting the child and family in inclusive education is a prerequisite for success in achieving its basic goals and objectives. Due to the importance of the problem, the aim of this article will be to analyze how to effectively support both children and their families by implementing the goals of inclusive education. The article introduces the definition of „inclusive education” at the beginning, presents the most important legal regulations and its basic goals and assumptions. The analysis of the collected information shows that Polish education law provides for a whole range of instruments that enable effective support in inclusive education, however, there are still challenges that must be met in the future.

The article focuses on specific conceptual terminology in the field of speech therapy diagnostics. It allows for the emergence of a consistent diagnostic procedure. He brings us closer to the difficult time of therapeutic work during remote learning. Remote education, and thus also psychological and pedagogical assistance, became a necessity during the pandemic, and not a voluntary choice or a tool supporting traditional education. Therefore, it was necessary to consider whether and how the pandemic influenced the entire education process? Did the students, parents and teachers cope with the change and how? Have they encountered difficulties and what difficulties – especially in the field of providing psychological and pedagogical help? Did the pandemic affect the psychophysical functioning of students, parents and teachers, and how? The planned research allowed to show the current situation in education at the level of primary school, and also showed the scope and expectations of respondents regarding the psychological and pedagogical help provided. These studies allowed to show not only the first experiences, suggestions and conclusions, but also to show psychophysical changes among respondents (such as, for example, overloading parents, phobias, fears, etc.), their fears, psychophysical condition and perceived threats (e.g. symptoms). depression among children and parents, lack of motivation, etc.) and expected changes in the future and in education, including the traditional one.

Działania poradni psychologicznopedagogicznych w zakresie rozwijania kompetencji zawodowych nauczycieli edukacji włączającej

The article was written based on the collected information, experiences, thoughts, expectations and needs of teachers of inclusive education participating in the meetings of the Cooperation and Self-Improvement Network in the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic in Ryki in 2016–2021. The cyclical meetings of the Network were attended by the educators from preschools, different levels of schools and educational institutions from the Ryki Poviat. The article shows the challenges faced by teachers in inclusive education (alternative to special and integrative education), the difficulties associated with its implementation and the opportunities and needs of the teachers in improving their professional competence in its realization. It also presents teachers’ recommendations concerning systemic and organisational solutions in the field of inclusive education that would improve its quality.

This article is an attempt at a polemic with selected, published positions of the Polish world of science, which deny the importance of the growing role of IT solutions in modern education, and their representatives still believe that the current system of transferring knowledge using traditional methods (Herbart School) is the only correct one. As early as the early twentieth century, the eminent reformer of American schooling, John Dewey, wrote that „if we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday, we rob them of the future”. The issues discussed concern both the results of the author’s own research on the digitization of Polish schools, as well as a literature review of the OECD, BECTA, Ken Robinson and the Educational Research Institute of the Ministry of National Education in terms of the effects of using information and communication technologies in education.

Zoom fatigue wśród nastolatków

The aim of this study is to analyze a new social phenomenon that appeared during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, i.e. zoom fatigue. Zoom fatigue is the result of fatigue from long-term conferences, which can also be related to long-term school lessons during distance learning. The main considerations will focus on teenagers, namely on the impact of zoom fatigue on teenagers in Polish schools and on observation of students from technical secondary schools by a school psychologist. This paper, based on the results of research conducted at Stanford University and by Social Changes, is also an attempt to answer the questions: what risks may arise from the phenomenon of zoom fatigue and the threat posed by distance learning for teenagers in the era of Covid-19. It will also attempt to answer the question of how to help students cope with the fatigue of long distance school activities and find ways to help teens deal with isolation and the negative effects of zoom fatigue and find ways to overcome zoom fatigue.

Edukacja zdalna – sytuacja trudna dla ucznia ze spektrum zaburzeń autystycznych i jego rodziny

The aim of the article is to present selected topics related to remote education of students from the spectrum of autistic disorders. The introductory part of the article describes the state of epidemic disaster caused by the global pandemic of the previously unknown COVID-19 disease, which forced the introduction of sanitary restrictions with the necessity to close educational institutions in Poland. The main part describes the assumptions and practical effects of remote education, which was introduced in Polish schools. The description takes into account, in a special way, the difficulties of students with autism and their families, which were caused by the compulsion of home education. The text is based on the method of descriptive-critical analysis of the literature.

Cyberbullying w aspekcie profilaktyki i wychowania

The study addresses the problem of cyberbullying, which is a new form of aggression among schoolchildren resulting from the development of digital technologies. The aim of the study is not only to show the specificity of cyberbullying and its negative effects, but above all to indicate the possibility of counteracting this phenomenon in terms of prevention and education. Based on the analysis of significant scientific publications in the area of the discussed considerations, it was shown that the phenomenon of cyberbullying differs significantly from traditional violence and has a much wider range and greater impact. It was also indicated that in order to counteract the phenomenon of cyberbullying, it is necessary, first of all, to properly target and intensify the educational influence of the family and to take this issue into account in the didactic and educational process of the school and in the preventive activities undertaken, addressed to school children and youth.
该研究解决了网络欺凌问题,这是数字技术发展导致的一种新的攻击形式。本研究的目的不仅是为了显示网络欺凌的特殊性及其负面影响,而且最重要的是指出在预防和教育方面抵消这种现象的可能性。根据对所讨论的考虑因素领域的重要科学出版物的分析,表明网络欺凌现象与传统暴力有很大不同,范围更广,影响更大。还有人指出,为了抵制网络欺凌现象,首先必须适当地针对和加强家庭的教育影响,并在学校的教学和教育过程中以及在针对在校儿童和青年开展的预防活动中考虑到这一问题。

Rodzinne przygotowanie dziecka do pełnienia roli ucznia (przykłady z praktyki pedagogicznej)

Considering the importance of the family in bringing up and preparing a child for school education, there is a need for research to learn about the values and skills shaped in the family home that will help the child in a successful school start and in adapting to the classroom environment. The theoretical considerations contained in the article on the upbringing of a child in the family and preparation for school were obtained on the basis of a literature review on the subject. Empirical data from the research was obtained using the diagnostic survey method using a proprietary research tool with a four-point Likert scale, i.e. a survey addressed to parents of first-grade pupils attending several primary schools in the Biała Podlaska poviat (N = 91). The conducted research shows that in some children there were observed difficulties in establishing contacts, which can be assumed as a consequence of learning in a remote or hybrid form. Most parents are aware that they are responsible for bringing up a child and preparing him/ her for the role of a pupil.
