The current study aimed to determine the relationship between resilience and migratory grief among Venezuelan immigrants in Peru. This was a basic, quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 267 Venezuelan immigrants aged between 18 and 50 years from the human mobility and human trafficking board of a diocese in Peru. To measure the variables, the RS-14 Resilience Scale by Wagnild and Young and the Migratory Grief Questionnaire created by De la Revilla et al. were used. For the data analysis, SPSS v25 software was used, and Spearman's correlation coefficient was calculated to determine the relationship between resilience and migratory grief. Additionally, to understand the influence of sociodemographic factors, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the Scheffé post hoc test were utilized. The results showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the level of resilience and migratory grief. Similarly, employment status is an influential factor for both resilience and migratory grief. Received: 6 March 2024 / Accepted: 16 April 2024 / Published: 5 May 2024

European integration has been the primary goal of Albanian foreign policy since the collapse of the communist regime, regardless of the ruling political party. The political elite and the Albanian people embrace and support the integration process. Also, the European Union has grown as a transformative power in Albania, fostering democracy, influencing structural reforms, and impacting the rule of law through the promise of future accession. However, the enlargement process has been slow due to internal and external factors. The article analyzes the EU as a transformative power and the use of Conditionality in Albania as an essential diffusion channel of the EU's values and norms, using the adoption of justice reform as a key study. The article's objective is to examine how the EU perspective membership has influenced the endorsement of justice reform in Albania. The paper argues that the EU approach has succeeded in fostering compliance with formal accession criteria but has yet to implement the justice reform due to internal factors and a not linear enlargement perspective. Progress Reports, literature, surveys, and media articles will be analyzed to fulfill the paper's objective. Received: 10 February 2024 / Accepted: 20 April 2024 / Published: 5 May 2024

Introduction. The flipped classroom method represents an avant-garde approach to the learning process, in which students acquire the fundamental concepts of a subject outside the traditional classroom environment. In this work, Blum's modeling was used, based on discovery learning, where students are initially faced with problems or situations that require a solution, encouraging the search for information and the application of various strategies to solve them. This combination enhances learning autonomy by offering greater opportunities for practice and feedback. Objective. The research aims to determine the impact of the flipped classroom method as a tool to promote autonomous learning. Method. A mixed methodology was used, integrating elements of quasi-experimental and phenomenological design, with an explanatory scope. Results. The study revealed a 65% effectiveness in the development of autonomous learning among students who participated in the flipped classroom implementation. In addition, participants reported an increase in motivation, ability to set goals, identification of challenges and strengths, availability of resources and an environment conducive to learning, as well as selection of effective study strategies and increased reflection on the effects of their learning. In conclusion, the findings support the usefulness of flipped classroom as a valuable tool for fostering autonomous learning in university students. It has been more than 30 years since the first sexual assault in the US military scandal; thousands of sexual assault survivors as well as numerous legislative regulations have not been able to address effectively the situation. In 2022, the Military Justice Improvement and Increasing Prevention Act (MJIIPA) finally passed. The article addresses what changed to allow the passage of this legislation and if it will be enough to fix the problem. The research questions are: What changed during Congressional Oversight to achieve the passage of MJIIPA? Media, Public Opinion and Interest Groups (IG) have played what role to achieve the changes in Congress? By making the changes to the COC what is to be expected? Will it be enough to address the issue? This article uses the case study method. The results of this examination demonstrate that neither media, public opinion nor interest groups provided the influence expected. It was elite cues and those committed to reforming the system as a continuous process, not an ad hoc procedure that pushed forward the reforms. The break-even point is a technique for analyzing the relationship between costs, volumes and profits in organizations, which allows their managers to know quickly and economically the minimum units or amounts that their companies must sell in order not to generate losses, thus allowing them to plan their profits. Due to the pandemic caused by the Sars-Cov-2 (COVID-19 virus), virtual teaching became popular, which served as an opportunity for many teachers to start teaching courses; with time, these entrepreneurs paid attention to the importance of the break-even point for making decisions related to the opening of new sections of existing courses, or the implementation of new study programs. The objective of this study was to determine the impact of the break-even point in profit planning in educational institutions in Lima, 2022. The hypothesis was: the break-even point has an impact on profit planning in educational institutions in Lima, 2022. Through a quantitative approach study, applied type, explanatory level, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, data was collected from 91 entrepreneurs who carried out teaching activities on virtual platforms. The results obtained confirmed the influence of the break-even point calculation on profit planning in this context, modeling it with the following formula: profit planning=0.101+0.979 x break-even point. The present research work is grounded in the question: "Is there a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being in older adults?" In response to this, the hypothesis posits the existence of a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being in older adults. Consequently, the general objective of this study was to determine if there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being in older adults residing in a nursing home. This was accomplished through a Quantitative Correlational research design, using a sample of 85 older adults, encompassing both men and women, aged 60 years and older, residing in a nursing home. The assessment tools employed included Emily Sterret's Self-Assessment Test of Emotional Intelligence, which was adapted for use in Peru by Lorena Valdez in 2018, and Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale, originally created in the United States in 1995 and subsequently adapted for use in Peru by Madelinne Pérez-Basilio in 2017. The results revealed that in the realm of emotional intelligence, the predominant level was "optimal," accounting for 51%, followed by "outstanding," at 49%. Concerning psychological well-being, there was a predominance of the "high" level, comprising 61%, with 39% falling into the "medium" category. In conclusion, there was a strong correlation coefficient between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being, with r = 0.831** and significance at p < 0.01. This implies that higher emotional intelligence corresponds to greater psychological well-being among older adults residing in a nursing home. To find out the main elements of the newly adopted management model and the level of application of indigenous and western models and principles, and also to investigate the generalization of education aspects and values in contexts other than their initial ones, we carried out such a study in three federal universities of the United Arab Emirates. Besides the vital nature of the questions to the United Arab Emirates, these interrogate the most troubling yet classic issues afflicting the Gulf and developing states alike. The outcomes show that hegemonic western approaches to higher education management subverts the unique cultural and religious traditions of the UAE that correlates with the local and national tourism environments. These comparative components were spread and controlled by the international higher education exchange culture that was not mandatory but rather, shared. A global higher education system plays an important role in preserving and spreading a standard culture to all states in the world. Adolescent pregnancy in Latin America constitutes a complex issue with significant consequences. High pregnancy rates among individuals under 20 years old impact education, personal development, and future opportunities. It is imperative to pay closer attention to sexual education, access to contraceptive methods, and reproductive health services to prevent unintended pregnancies and ensure the well-being of both adolescents and their children. The study aimed to elucidate the determinants influencing the adolescent fertility rate, thus providing an academic contribution for the formulation of public policies in Latin America.
