Tuning parameter selectors for bridge penalty based on particle swarm optimization method 基于粒子群优化方法的桥梁惩罚参数选择器整定

The bridge penalty is widely used as a penalty for selecting and shrinking predictors in regression models. Although its effectiveness is sensitive to the parameters you decide to use for shrinking and adjusting. The shrinkage and tuning parameters of the bridge penalty are chosen concurrently, and a continuous optimization process called particle swarm optimization is proposed as a means to do this. If implemented, the proposed method will greatly facilitate regression modeling with superior prediction performance. The results show that the proposed method is effective in comparison to other well-known methods, but this varies greatly depending on the simulation setup and the real data application.

A significant historical enabler for the improvement of industrial goods has been the characterization of novel materials. For example, a large variety of polymeric materials are readily accessible to manufacture the appropriate items depending on the production method. Due to its capacity to produce components with complicated geometries without the need for tools or a human interface, fused filament fabrication (FFF) is acquiring a unique edge in the industrial sector. By adjusting process parameters at the right values, the qualities of FFF-built items may be enhanced since they rely heavily on these factors. Increasing the service life of functioning components requires taking wear resistance into account. Because of this, the current work concentrates on a thorough investigation to comprehend the impact of 3 crucial elements, including layer thickness, printing speed, also infill density, infill density, and the sliding wear of test specimens. A mechanism of wear is explained by utilizing microphotographs.

DevOps Ontology - An ontology to support the understanding of DevOps in the academy and the software industry DevOps本体——一个支持学术界和软件行业对DevOps理解的本体

Currently, the degree of knowledge about what DevOps really means and what it entails is still limited. This can result in an informal and even incorrect implementation in many cases. Although several proposals related to DevOps adoption can be found, confusion is not uncommon and terminology conflict between the proposals is still evident. This article proposes DevOps Ontology, a semi-formal ontology that proposes a generic, consistent, and clear language to enable the dissemination of information related to implementing DevOps in software development. The ontology presented in this article facilitates the understanding of DevOps by identifying the relationships between software process elements and the agile principles/values that may be related to them. The DevOps Ontology has been defined considering the following aspects: the REFSENO formalism that uses the representation in UML was used and the language OWL language using Prótegé and HermiT Reasoner to evaluate the consistency of its structure. Likewise, it was satisfactorily evaluated in three application cases: a theoretical validation; instantiation of the continuous integration and deployment practices proposed by the company GitLab. Furthermore, a mobile app was created to retrieve information from the DevOps Ontology using the SPARQL protocol and RDF language. The app also evaluated the Ontology’s proficiency in responding to knowledge-based questions using SPARQL. The results showed that DevOps Ontology is consistent, complete, and concise, i.e.: to say: the consistency could be observed in the ability to be able to infer knowledge from the ontology, ensuring that the ontology is complete by checking for any incompleteness and verifying that all necessary definitions and inferences are well-established. Additionally, the ontology was assessed for conciseness to ensure that it doesn't contain redundant or unnecessary definitions. Furthermore, it has the potential for improvement by incorporating new concepts and relationships as needed. The newly suggested ontology creates a set of terms that provide a systematic and structured approach to organizing the existing knowledge in the field. This helps to minimize the confusion, inconsistency, and heterogeneity of the terminologies and concepts in the area of interest.

The role of digital content systems used in managing Arab academic scientific journals: An analytical study 数字内容系统在管理阿拉伯学术科学期刊中的作用:一项分析研究

The current research aims to highlight the role of digital content management systems adopted in the management of Arab scientific journals and to indicate its features and characteristics. As well as learning about the available global systems for managing the digital content of scientific journals. The researchers adopted the descriptive approach to achieve the objectives of the research, and the questionnaire was a data collection tool. The questionnaire was distributed to a proportional random sample that included (30) researchers who use digital content management systems for three research sample sites with two journals for each site. The journals are from the OJS platform (Professor for Humanities and Social Sciences and Al-Kufa Journal of Mathematics and Computer), the ASJP platform (the Algerian Journal of Social and Human Sciences, and the Review of Scientific and Technical Information), and the ARID platform (ARID International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Arad International Journal of Sciences and technology). The research data was presented in the form of tables and graphs and analyzed statistically based on several methods. The research came out with several results, the most important of which is that the Algerian scientific journals website management system (ASJP) represents the best system for researchers to manage journals from the two systems (OJS, ARID).

Digital citizenship for faculty of Iraqi universities 伊拉克大学教员的数字公民身份

Digital Citizenship (DC) is a set of rules, controls, standards, norms, ideas, and principles followed in the optimal and proper use of technology, which citizens, young and old, need to contribute to the progress of the nation. In short, it is guidance and protection, guidance to the benefits of modern technologies, and protection from their dangers. Or more precisely, it is the smart approach to technology. The concept of digital citizenship has a strong relationship with the education system, so academics in higher education and scientific research institutions must be the most experienced, and effective among their students in this field. Especially after the Corona pandemic and the trend that the universe has gone through towards using the internet in all areas of life, including education, especially integrated education, it has become very important for a citizen to be digital. This study dealt with a sample of university professors with (200) questionnaires. All the professors who belong to colleges with a scientific and human specialization possess digital citizenship. There are no differences between genders except in the education axis, which was in favor of the teaching staff male. In addition to the specialization, it was in favor of the colleges of science.

Wheat is the most important plant in the history of mankind, especially in terms of nutrition, by increasing its resistance from the past to the present. The negative change in the environmental conditions increases the stress factors in the soil and seriously affects agricultural productivity. Some physiological analyzes were carried out to examine salt, silicon and salt-silicon interactions on wheat seedlings. In the present study salt, silicon, salt–silicon and their interactions were investigated on wheat (Triticum aestivum L cv. Dağdaş and ES-14). Root dry weight, shoot dry weight, shoot and root length. In our study; Si increased shoot dry matter and weight in 200 mM salt+ Si treatment.

The Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS) is one of the medical devices that uses electricity to stimulate the nerve and produce analgesic effects. A TENS device is a small battery-powered or city-powered device with ends attached to sticky pads called electrodes. TENS, with its main purpose of helping to reduce pain and muscle spasms, has a wide usage area, especially in arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pelvic pain, knee pain, menstrual pain, low back pain, sports injuries, and atrophic muscle tissue cases. In this study, a Transcutaneous electrical stimulation device, which is one of the physical therapy methods performed by applying electrical energy, was designed. Designed device; it is easy to use, low cost, and suitable for patients, and ardunio is used for integration and programming.

Image filtering is a common technique used in digital image processing that can be used to take a picture appear differently aesthetically. Noise, also known as distracting visual artifacts, can lower the overall quality of a picture, which is why image improvement techniques are required to fix the problem. It can be utilized in a variety of ways, including smoothing, sharpening, reducing noise, and detecting borders, to name a few. In this piece, we will be using convolutional techniques to correct the images that were messed up. The first thing that needs to be done is a point-by-point multiplication of the frequency domain representation of the picture that's being entered through a black image that has a small white rectangle in the mid of it. This is the first step. Only the lowest harmonics are kept after we apply a filter that gets rid of the higher ones. Because the high frequencies in the input picture are filtered out, the special domain of the image that is produced should look like a blurrier variation of the original picture. Therefore, a greater degree of detail preservation is indicated when the white rectangle W is larger because this indicates that more high-frequency components of I have been preserved.

Autism (ASM) is a group of neurodevelopmental condition capable of being diagnosed very early in childhood with variety of symptoms such as inability to communicate effectively, aggressive behaviour, and abnormal repetitive routines. The review compares the treatment of ASM with alternative modalities and pharmaceutical medications with evidence that parents prefer to use alternative medicine than pharmaceutical medications in treatment of ASM due to side effects and safety concerns associated with pharmaceutical medications. However, the review also highlights that pharmaceutical medications has no straightforward cure but have specialised drugs that can help manage specific associated symptoms with the syndrome, the (FDA) has only verified 2 drugs for ASM treatment (aripiprazole and risperidone) which help autistic children manage irritability problems associated with ASM syndromes, other drugs have not been adequately studied and not yet approved, therefore there are no evidence to support their use

Study of chemical and physical parameters affected on purification of water from inorganic contaminants 影响无机污染物净化水的化学和物理参数研究

The ability to remove perchlorate anions was investigated by the adsorption technique in a laboratory scale and by a batch type unit from contaminated aqueous solutions prepared at specific concentrations. The adsorption process was carried out using banana peels, which were chosen as an available, cheap, and low-cost adsorption media. The studied operating conditions in the treatment process were the acidic function, shaking speed, contact time, temperature, in addition to the initial concentration of perchlorate, which ranging from 1-10, 100-400 rpm, 10-180 min, 20-50 ºC, 50-1000 ppb respectively, while the dose of adsorbent media ranged between 0.5-6 g and the particle size ranged from 0-Pan. The experimental results showed that the removal efficiency of perchlorate changes directly with the shaking speed, contact time, particle size and the dose of adsorbent, while it was inversely with the remaining variables for certain levels. Thus, two types of contaminants were disposed of simultaneously in a beneficial, and eco- friendly manner, reaching to Zero Residue Level (ZRL).
