The need to revitalize this group of buildings located on the bank of Danube, which acted as a buffer between the local community and the river, has led to a new centre of activity. Places of employment and social interaction have been generated. Introducing planting to former industrial building softens the landscape, which leads towards brick buildings tha tare now easier to acces and move around due to the intervention of new lifts, stairs and corridors. Industrial heritage is retained, whilst creating a place for the current and future citizens of this town in a place which also welcomes visitors alike.
