A REVIEW OF DOMESTIC TOURISM RESILIENCE RESEARCH AGENDA IN AFRICA POST-COVID-19 19 科维德事件后非洲国内旅游业复原力研究议程回顾

Domestic tourism emerged as a recovery strategy post-COVID-19. This study sought to identify domestic tourism research agendas in Africa post-COVID-19. Following a document review methodology, data was collected via an electronic search of journal articles on the Web of Science and SCOPUS. A total of 42 articles were reviewed and analysed using thematic analysis. It was established that product development, marketing, resilience, sustainability and measurement of domestic tourism were the main research agendas. Domestic tourism emerged as a complement rather than a substitute for international tourism. The study sets the agenda for African domestic tourism resilience and sustainability research.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS OF TOURISM: ANALYZING THE IMPACT OF TOURISM, GLOBAL TRADE, CONSUMPTION EXPENDITURE, ELECTRICITY, AND POPULATION ON ENVIRONMENT IN LEADING GLOBAL TOURIST DESTINATIONS 旅游业对环境的影响:分析旅游业、全球贸易、消费支出、电力和人口对全球主要旅游目的地环境的影响

The study analysed the impact of tourism, trade, consumption expenditure, electricity usage, and population on carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) in leading tourist destinations. The study uses a panel dataset of 32 countries from different continents between 2001 and 2020 and applies the generalized method of moments (GMM) and Quantile Regression approaches. The results suggest that tourism (arrivals and revenues) can reduce environmental degradation, and that CO2 emissions increase due to factors such as GDP per capita, electricity consumption, and population growth. Trade openness can reduce CO2 emissions, and controlling for final consumption also indicates a decrease in CO2 emissions. The study suggests that sustainable tourism practices, responsible consumption, and larger international integration may play a role in mitigating CO2 emissions. Leading tourist destinations should develop sustainable urban areas to accommodate population growth, and embrace eco-friendly technologies, infrastructure, and consumption patterns to promote sustainable economic growth while reducing CO2 emissions.

DIGITAL MARKETING FOR PROMOTING YOGA TOURISM ON KHO PHANGAN, THAILAND 促进泰国 Kho Phangan 岛瑜伽旅游的数字营销

There is a lack of research that focusing on assisting yoga businesses in digital marketing during COVID-19. This research aimed to: 1) investigate the behavior of Thai tourists in purchasing yoga tourism products or services; 2) investigate factors affecting the decision in purchasing a yoga health tourism service in the new normal era; 3) investigate tourists' perspectives on digital marketing to promote yoga tourism; and 4) develop digital marketing media to help promote yoga tourism suitable for Thai tourists in the new normal era. This research is mixed research with both quantitative and qualitative research. Data were collected using questionnaire questions asking 385 Thai wellness tourists. Twenty yoga entrepreneurs were asked to answer interview questions. The samples of both groups were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected between September 2021 and January 2022. The results found that 1) Thai tourists’ behaviors using digital channels had a statistically significant relationship at the .05 level with gender, age, and education level, and careers of tourists. 2) Thai tourists’ overall views on yoga digital marketing were at a high level with the highest score on purchasing online yoga courses, followed by customer relations, and store information search. 3) Tourists' perspectives on digital marketing to promote yoga tourism were Product and Service, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Physical Evidence, Process, Productivity and Quality, and Health concern. All scores were at a high level. Females considered pricing strategy more than males. 4) The website, LINE stickers, and animation graphics on Facebook story and Instagram helped promotion for Thai wellness tourists.

The study explores the relationship between environmental uncertainty, competitive advantage, and hotel performance in the context of 1, 2, and 3-star hotels in Saudi Arabia. Quantitative methodology was chosen as the primary research approach. This approach systematically collects numerical data and statistical analysis to derive meaningful insights. The research collected comprehensive data from a specific target group, namely the 1, 2, and 3-star hotels in Saudi Arabia. The findings reveal a significant mediation effect of competitive advantage on the relationship between environmental uncertainty and hotel performance. This underscores the importance of developing and maintaining a competitive advantage to thrive in an uncertain environment by anticipating and adapting to market changes. This study emphasises the vital role of competitive advantage in bolstering hotel performance amidst environmental uncertainty. Future research should seek broader industry representation. Overall, it enhances our understanding of Saudi Arabia's hospitality sector, offering practical guidance for hotel owners and managers in navigating uncertainties.

EXAMINING CURRENT AND FUTURE CHALLENGES OF SEA LEVEL RISE ON COASTAL NATIONAL PARKS 研究海平面上升对沿海国家公园当前和未来的挑战

Over the past decade, the increase in extreme weather events requires each sector to reflect on vulnerabilities to develop strategies for ramping up climate action. Owing to the shortage of climate data, significant knowledge gaps exist in some sectors of society and the economy, particularly in developing countries such as Africa. This has caused challenges for adaptation and resilience building as governments and other stakeholders cannot leverage knowledge for policy and practice and to seek funding for climate change action. This study responds to this knowledge by examining sea level challenges and their implications on coastal national parks in South Africa. The key question for this study is the most at-risk areas regarding sea level in coastal national parks and the implications of sea level on coastal national parks. The study utilises primary, secondary and archival data to arrive at conclusions. The study also uses climate change modelling data from SSP2-4.5 and SSP3-7.0. The study found that the most vulnerable coastal park in South Africa is the Garden Route National Park, which has the highest sea level rise, which will result in the Knysna section followed by the Cape Point section of Table Mountain, which will see the areas witnessing a 1m rise in sea level around 2100. Sea level rise is a threat to infrastructure, heritage, beaches, tourism employees and tourist safety, to mention but a few. The study recommends scaling up climate change action to assist the parks in adapting and building climate change resilience.

CITIZENS' SATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE QUALITY OF KHMER CIVIL SERVANTS IN THE MEKONG DELTA, VIETNAM 越南湄公河三角洲公民对高棉公务员服务质量的满意度

Civil servants are part of the human resources of the public sector. The contingent of civil servants is an essential component of human social resources whose contributions always play a significant role in the overall socio-economic development achievements of the country and the locality. In this study, the research paradigm “citizen satisfaction with the service quality of Khmer civil servants” was used and converted with “the SERVPERF model.” Research data were collected from survey results by questionnaires from 596 citizens in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. SPSS 20 and AMOS 24 software are used to analyze and evaluate the scale. The results of the research structure show that there are six factors affecting citizen satisfaction with the service quality of Khmer civil servants in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, including competency, professional qualifications, profession, sense of responsibility and coordination in performing tasks, ethical qualities, working style; sense of organization and discipline; citizen service attitude; progress and results of task performance. From the research findings, the discussion proposes implications for public policy management to improve citizen satisfaction with the service quality of Khmer civil servants in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam.

The contingent of civil servants is an essential component of human social resources whose contributions always play a significant role in the overall socio-economic development achievements of the country and the locality. In this study, the research paradigm “citizen satisfaction with the service quality of Khmer civil servants” was used and converted with “the SERVPERF model.” Research data were collected from survey results by questionnaires from 596 citizens in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. SPSS 20 and AMOS 24 software are used to analyze and evaluate the scale. The results of the research structure show that there are six factors affecting citizen satisfaction with the service quality of Khmer civil servants in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, including competency, professional qualifications, profession, sense of responsibility and coordination in performing tasks, ethical qualities, working style; sense of organization and discipline; citizen service attitude; progress and results of task performance. BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF COMMUNITY-BASED TOURISM AND ITS THEORETICAL IMPLICATIONS 社区旅游的文献计量分析及其理论意义

Bibliometric studies allow us to observe and interpret the behavior and progress of scientific production on a topic. Thus, present research performs a bibliometric analysis of the research developed on community tourism. For this purpose, articles published in journals indexed in Scopus in the period 1983 to 2022 are considered; the search is restricted to (TITLE ("community tourism") OR TITLE ("turismo comunitario”)), which makes 124 items visible. The analysis is carried out using the Bibliometrix and VOSviewer software, which formally and thematically characterizes scientific production through bibliometrics. The indicators used are: annual scientific production and by country, productivity by type of institution, most cited articles, magazines with the most publications on community tourism, analysis of keywords and relationship with the topics, and finally, the main currents or trends of research. The results reflect that there is a trend in research in the field of community tourism: tourism sustainability, economic development, tourism linked to local development, indigenous communities, topics that will gain strength such as the use of platforms and social capital.

FACTORS AFFECTING NIGHT ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT: A CASE STUDY IN DA NANG CITY, VIETNAM 影响夜间经济发展的因素:越南达南市案例研究

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting the development of the night economy in Da Nang city, Vietnam on the basis of a survey of 346 domestic tourists choosing this as a tourist destination and participate in night activities and services. The author has synthesized the relevant background theory as well as previous outstanding studies on the issue of tourism development and night economy. SPSS 20 software was used to test the relationship between factors affecting the development of the night economy based on the viewpoints of tourists, residents and local authorities. The results of the study show that 05 factors affect the development of the night economy in Da Nang city in order: The development of a variety of services; Legal and safety regulations; cultural experience opportunities; infrastructure and traffic; service prices. The remaining two factors did not find any influence on the development of the night economy: tourism natural resources; promote and share. The study once again confirms the relationship between the factors affecting the development of the night economy and is a document to help researchers understand better in the research context in Vietnam, one of the leading countries in the world. developing countries and are limited in developing the night economy after the Covid-19 pandemic.
本研究的目的是在对选择越南岘港市作为旅游目的地并参与夜间活动和服务的 346 名国内游客进行调查的基础上,研究影响岘港市夜间经济发展的因素。作者综合了相关背景理论以及以往关于旅游发展和夜间经济问题的优秀研究。利用 SPSS 20 软件,基于游客、居民和地方政府的观点,检验了影响夜间经济发展的因素之间的关系。研究结果表明,影响岘港市夜间经济发展的因素依次为 05 个:各种服务的发展;法律和安全法规;文化体验机会;基础设施和交通;服务价格。其余两个因素没有发现对夜生活经济发展有任何影响:旅游自然资源;推广与共享。该研究再次证实了影响夜间经济发展的因素之间的关系,是帮助研究人员更好地了解世界领先国家之一的越南的研究背景的文件。

This paper aims to investigate the attributes of organizing an eco-run event for sustainable tourism and the causal effects of loyalty through the eco-run event attributes and satisfaction. Data were collected from 761 Thai runners experienced in a running event in tourist destinations. The questionnaires were tested using Cronbach’s Alpha of attitude toward eco-run events, satisfaction, and loyalty, .941, .943, and .929, respectively. The data were analyzed by the structural equation model. The results illustrated 11 key attributes being a new concept managing running events responding to sustainable tourism. The paper found positive effects among the 11 attributes, satisfaction, and loyalty. Consequently, applying the key attributes can enhance tourist runners' satisfaction and loyalty. The results can make contributions to organizers, CBT, and academics in organizing an eco-run event sustaining tourism.

By defining a strategy for the tourism industry's recovery in the Western region of Ukraine, the study aims to support a methodical approach to evaluating the sector's economic attractiveness from the perspectives of the government, investors, and consumers. This plan will ensure the growth of positive externalities and minimize negative dynamics within the ecosystem during the post-conflict phase. The method of analyzing hierarchies was used, with the help of which the index of the economic attractiveness of the hospitality sector was evaluated for the level of reproduction of the tourism industry. Regarding the relative coherence of indicators of the appeal of the hospitality sector of the Carpathian tourist destination, an interaction between the starting data and the vectors of the matrices of pairwise comparisons was correlated. Using average weight criteria, the integral index of the hospitality sector's attractiveness for the Carpathian region of Ukraine was computed.
