Parameter extraction of photovoltaic cell using differential evolution method 基于差分演化法的光伏电池参数提取

This paper proposes a new parameter extraction method of photovoltaic cell, based on the differential evolution (DE) technique. The proposed method requires very few control parameters and converges rapidly to a solution. Furthermore, it can fit the I–V curve very accurately irrespective of the values of the initial parameters guesses. The performance of DE is evaluated against the well known genetic algorithm (GA) using a synthetic and experimental I-V data set. It is found that the DE method fits the I–V curve better than GA, has a lower fitness function value and faster execution time.

High reliability for electric machines driving critical loads: A review 电机驱动临界负载的高可靠性研究综述

The term reliability is a criterion that is a must in the procurement and selection process of an electrical machine. As the cost of machines varies proportionally to its reliability status, studies have been conducted throughout the world to achieve one ultimate goal – to produce a machine with higher reliability and minimum cost spent in manufacturing it. Several methods to improve the current reliability of the machines were reviewed here. The reviews were done on the subject of reliability of electrical machines with highlights of its importance and contribution to the real-time applications. A new direction is proposed here for the detection and remedial of incipient faults particularly in critical load systems.

Direct torque control of induction machines utilizing 3-level cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter and fuzzy logic 基于3级联h桥多电平逆变器和模糊逻辑的感应电机直接转矩控制

This paper proposes the use of a 3-level Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter (CHMI) topology which results in further torque ripple minimization compared to the 2-level inverter-based Direct Torque Control (DTC). This is due to the increase in the inverter switching voltage vectors that allows minimization of the torque error. This in turn can reduce the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of the output voltage and current as well. This paper also presents two different control methods in selecting the appropriate output voltage vector for reducing the torque and flux error to zero. The first is based on the conventional DTC scheme using a pair of hysteresis comparators and look-up table to select the output voltage vector for controlling the torque and flux. The second is based on a new fuzzy logic controller (FLC) with Sugeno as its inference method to select the output voltage vector by replacing the hysteresis comparators and look-up table in the conventional DTC scheme. The latter has solved the problem of variable switching frequency which is the main characteristic of the former. By using FLC DTC not only the flux ripples reduce significantly but also the THD of the phase current decreases since a more sinusoidal current waveform is achieved. The simulation results have proven that by using the 3-level CHMI, torque ripple reduction is obtained compared to the 2-level inverter-based DTC while fuzzy DTC shows reduction in the stator flux ripples and the THD of the phase current.

Performance improvement of improved practical control method for two-mass PTP positioning systems in the presence of actuator saturation 两质量PTP定位系统致动器饱和时改进实用控制方法的性能改进

The positioning systems generally need a good controller to achieve a fast response, high accuracy and robustness. In addition, ease and simplicity of controller design structure are very important for practical applications. For satisfying these requirements, NCTF controller has been proposed as a practical control method for two-mass rotary PTP positioning systems. However, the effect of the actuator saturation cannot be completely compensated due to integrator windup when the object parameter varies. This paper presents a method to further improve NCTF controller to overcome the problem of integrator windup. The improved NCTF controller is evaluated experimentally using rotary two-mass positioning system. The effect of the design parameters on the robustness of the improved NCTF with anti-windup integrator controller is evaluated and compared with NCTF without anti-windup integrator and the equivalent PID controller. The results show that the improved NCTF controller is effective to compensate the effect of integrator windup.

Maximum Power Point Tracking for PV system under partial shading condition via particle swarm optimization 基于粒子群优化的部分遮阳条件下光伏系统最大功率点跟踪

Performance of Photovoltaic (PV) system is greatly dependent on the solar irradiation and operating temperature. Due to partial shading condition, the characteristics of a PV system considerably change and often exhibit several local maxima with one global maxima. Conventional Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques can easily be trapped at local maxima under partial shading. This significantly reduced the energy yield of the PV systems. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a Maximum Power Point tracking algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) that is capable of tracking global MPP under partial shaded conditions. The performance of proposed algorithm is evaluated by means of simulation in MATLAB Simulink. The proposed algorithm is applied to a grid connected PV system, in which a Boost (step up) DC-DC converter satisfactorily tracks the global peak.

Comparison of adaptive and fixed-band hysteresis current control considering high frequency harmonics 考虑高频谐波的自适应和固定频带迟滞电流控制的比较

Shunt active power filters (APF) are widely used in power systems to eliminate the current harmonics and to compensate reactive power due to their accurate and fast operation. In this paper the instantaneous power theory is used to extract the harmonic components of system current. Then fixed-band hysteresis current control is explained. Because of fixed-band variable frequency disadvantages, the adaptive hysteresis current control (AHCC) is introduced that leads to fix the switching frequency and reduce the high frequency components in source current waveform. Due to these advantages of AHCC, the switching frequency and switching losses will be diminished appropriately. Some simulations are done in Matlab/Simulink. The Fourier Transform and THD results of source and load currents and the instantaneous switching frequency diagram are discussed to prove the efficiency of this method. Pulse density modulated soft-switching single-phase cycloconverter 脉冲密度调制软开关单相循环变换器

Single stage cycloconverters generally incorporate hard-switching at turn on and soft-switching at turn off which limit limits their use in lower frequency applications. This paper presents a proposed solution to this problem using a pulse density modulated soft-switching cycloconverter or abbreviated PDMSS cycloconverter. Unlike standard cycloconverters, the controller in PDMSS cycloconverter lets only complete half cycles of the input waveform through to the output. This requires a much greater frequency step down from the input to the output. The analysis and design of the PDMSS cycloconverter will be described using a simulink model whose results demonstrate the ability of PDMSS to produce the sinusoidal waveforms.

A new Schematic for hybrid active power filter controller 一种新的混合有源电力滤波器控制器原理图

Nowadays power quality in power network requests using from existing equipments as high-performance and low cost such as improvement of compensator equipment and ways of efficiency increasing can be reduced destroyer effect on network. Active power filters is more importance and finance in network and industrial. It has depended detector algorithm and switching technique. This paper presents a novel Schematic for active power filter algorithm. This algorithm based on harmonic extraction is divided into two parts as feedback loop and feedforward loop. Also it increases accuracy of harmonic extraction by reducing of isolator calculation due to elimination of voltage calculation and changing of reference signal from voltage reference to current reference than similar algorithms. Also this changing cause that it can be used with switching techniques that work base on current as they are simpler and efficacy. In this algorithm, switching losses are considered that it helps to increase accuracy. Thus using the combination of this algorithm and current switching technique increases accuracy and decreases complication of previous structures that consequently, it increases controller efficacy of active power filter. Simulation result shows performance this model clearly.

Automated test set-up for reverse recovery characterization of ultrafast diodes 用于超快二极管反向恢复特性的自动测试装置

Often data sheets provide only poor information about the recovery behavior of ultra-fast diodes. On the other hand, existing diode models do not predict the real characteristic for all diodes. Nevertheless, due to its importance, this behavior needs to be known and therefore measured. For this purpose, a fully automated measurement set-up for determining the reverse recovery characteristic of ultra-fast diodes in an accurate manner was designed and is described here. All the data obtained is immediately transferred into MATLAB and therefore available for further calculation, model building and model validation. Since the whole set-up is automated, a complete field of variations in the reverse voltage, the forward current, the temperature, and the di/dt can be easily applied to the tested diode. Hence, a lot of information can be obtained effortlessly. This uncomplicated methodology makes it readily available for circuit designers, allowing them to predict the contribution of the reverse recovery of rectifiers to the total losses more accurately. In addition, a real comparison of different diodes at many operation points is made possible.
