On-chip microfluidic tuning of an microring resonator 微环谐振器的片上微流控调谐

We demonstrate a tunable optical filter with extinction ratio of 37 dB by integrating microring resonator with a microfluidic chip. Tuning is obtained by on-chip mixing of two liquids with different refractive indices.

Higher order frequency shifts in a Sr optical lattice clock Sr光学晶格时钟的高阶频移

We experimentally study higher order frequency shifts due to the lattice in a 87Sr optical lattice clock. We show that this effect will not limit the fractional accuracy of the clock at the 10-18 level.

We demonstrate a high quality optical cavity with a 30 micron mirror on a micromechanical resonator. An optical finesse of 2100 is measured via cavity ring-down. High mechanical quality of the resonator is also observed.
