A novel photoinitiator for microfabrication via two-photon polymerization 一种新型双光子聚合微加工光引发剂

We measured the two-photon absorption cross-section of Lucirin TPO-L and fabricated complex microstructures using it in acrylate resin. Using quantum chemistry calculations, we relate the nonlinear optical properties of the photoinitiator to its molecular structure.

We have made cross-shaped polarization-switching VCSELs for dual-channel optical communications. The polarization of the device is controlled by its asymmetry in geometry and current injection. High switching power ratio of over 20 between two polarization states has been achieved.

All-optical label recognition using tree-structure self-routing circuits consisting of asymmetric X-junctions 基于非对称x结点的树形自路由电路的全光标签识别

We propose a new label recognition system for photonic packet routing using self-routing of labels. Whole binary-coded labels modulated in phase can be recognized with a circuit consisting of tree-structure passive asymmetric-waveguide X-junctions.

We have successfully determined the anharmonic decay time of coherent longitudinal-acoustic-phonons in GaN. The temperature dependent anharmonic decay behavior is found to agree well with the Herringpsilas theory even up to the sub-THz frequency regime.

We have demonstrated reconfigurable all optical logic gates based on FWM in single SOA using polarization encoded signals. Six different logic functions can be realized by simply adjusting two polarization controllers in the setup.

We experimentally demonstrate the potential for using micro-cavities coupled to a photonic crystal waveguide as an optically tunable wavelength filter or modulator. This scheme is capable of giga-hertz speeds and low operating power.
