Here we discuss the concept of new gas-analytical device based on a.c. driven chemiresistive semiconducting layer. We test the approach utilizing quasi-amorphous potassium polytitanates, K2O·nTiO2·mH2O, which are characterized by high specific surface. In this work, we placed the polytitanate layer over a set of electrodes at the multielectroded chip and measured its impedance under exposure to various gas mixtures. The obtained data allow one to make an equivalent circuit for these structures where the combination of each active/reactive component can be used for selective gas identification.

The paper considers the application of the method of magnetron sputtering from two sources for the controlled synthesis of nanoscale resistive Ni-Ti films. A description of the technological process of nanoscale Ni-Ti films production is given. Conditions for the films' receipt with high specific electrical surface resistivity and low temperature coefficient of resistance were defined. The research materials can serve as the basis for developing new resistive elements of measuring instruments (pressure, force, acceleration sensors, etc.) with improved technical characteristics, operating in conditions of high temperatures.

In this paper we present a novel assessment method of fine-details level (FDL) of photorealistic images. The method is based on the search algorithm and recognitions of fine-details in the normalized color space. The novel image metric allows evaluating quantity of fine-detail fragments which are noticeable an eye. Results of an assessment of method stability to distortion factors are given and applications in the multimedia system are discussed.

The construction technique of the Fischer information matrix for parameters estimation of the control system of the inverted pendulum is offered. The state-space model is considered when unknown parameters are in a state matrix. Transform from continuous model to discrete analog is executed. It is noted that the steady-state considerably simplifies a calculation technique of Fischer information matrix that is very useful to practical application.

This paper presents a fully integrated vector-sum phase shifter with a 6-bit digital control in 0.18 um CMOS technology. The proposed architecture of the phase shifter control circuit provides the RMS phase error below 1.5 degrees due to the novel amplifier gain control circuit. The measured maximum gain is -5 dB and input 1 dB compression point is up to 4 dBm. The RMS phase error is less than 4.5 degrees in 2.2-3.2 GHz band with the possibility to reduce below 1.5 degrees. The input and output return losses are better than -7 dB and -12 dB in the entire frequency range. The total power consumption is 94 mW. The core chip size is 6.04 sq. mm. To the best of the authors' knowledge, the designed circuit is the first S-band 6-bit vector-sum phase shifter with all digital 360 degrees phase-control range fully integrated in CMOS technology.

The paper considers the study of the electromagnetic field of a synchronous generator based on the three-phase induction machine. The stand includes: a frequency converter, an induction motor, a synchronous generator, a threephase rectifier, an active load resistance, power protection and inclusion industrial electrical network. The study provides an analytical solution to one of the main objectives within theoretical foundations of electrical engineering, formulated so to reflect the decision making while designing new types of synchronous generators with permanent magnets. The necessity for such generators is determined, above all, by development of the area of small-scale energy sector due to the emergence on the consumer market of affordable and accessible strong magnets of neodymium alloy NdFeB. The purpose of this paper is to obtain an analytical solution for the determination of the induced Electromotive Force (EMF) in the loop placed in a magnetic field of the permanent magnet of rectangular cross-sectional shape while in relative motion. The pictures magnetic field of the generator in an idling mode, the transverse and the longitudinal armature reaction at the nominal current in the stator winding are presented in the paper.

There is a variant of test equipment building for global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers, which are being contained in the navigation system of space vehicle. Software of navigation signal simulator of simultaneously four GNSS (GLONASS, GPS, Galileo and BDS) has been developed. Vector signal generator is used as hardware. By means of real-time digital oscilloscope and special software for navigation signals analysis, accuracy research of signal delay changing law reproducing has been performed.
