Background: Due to their complexity and size, deploying ciphertexts for clouds is considered the most useful approach to accessing large data stores. Method: However, access to a user's access legitimacy and improving a decrypted text on the cloud depending on an improved access policy (AP) specified by the data owner are the key challenges for making large data storage realistic and effective in clouds. The traditional ways either totally remove the problem of AP development or offer renewal to arbiter power, but in real-time, enhancing the AP is essential to maximising security and handling agility. Results: In this paper, a safe and verifiable access control program characterised by the NTRU cryptographic system for large storage of data in the clouds is proposed. Primarily, an improved NTRU decryption protocol to deal with the decryption failures of the prime NTRU is established, and in addition, the program is analysed for its security strength and computational performance. When a new AP is specified by the data owner, the cloud server allows the program to improve ciphertext and allows the owner to verify the upgrade to oppose the cloud's fraudulent behaviour. Conclusion: It enables (i) checking the user's legitimacy to access the data owner and qualified users, and (ii) allowing the user to verify the data provided by other users for the recovery of the right user. Strong analysis can prevent and block delinquency from various attacks, namely the collusion attack that could potentially target fraud users.

Abstract: The novel coronavirus pandemic has not only affected people's health. The pandemic has also affected their social life and work. For all the reasons mentioned, international trade has suffered and is still in the process of recovery. Especially in the semiconductor industry, many manufacturers postponed their deliveries to future periods and this triggered the chip crisis. Many hightech industries, including the automotive industry, were deeply affected by the consequences of the crisis, with factories halting or slowing down production. Despite the shortage of chip stocks, Nuvoton has a large amount of Microcontroller Units (MCUs), but due to the shortage of resources, education and libraries, software developers have not been able to integrate their products in a limited time. In this paper, the Nuvoton Education Board has presented 20 common examples for embedded software developers and beginners. The PCB is designed considering all modules connected to separate General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) pins to make multiple module examples without changing the peripherals and pin configuration of the MCU. Clock configuration has been simplified and unnecessary details have been meticulously removed to make the examples easily understandable. Nuvoton NuMaker M263KI V1.3 was added on the designed PCB. The PCB contains almost all the necessary electronics to learn embedded software and use Nuvoton MCUs in industrial projects. The board is supported with user interfaces and printed documentation. The codes are explained with command lines to teach users even small details. A patent application has been filed for the proposed education board.

Introduction: Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) are similar to custom Wireless Sensor Networks, so these networks are prone to adversaries through their activities, but in healthcare applications, security is necessary for the patient data. Moreover, providing reliable healthcare to patients is essential, and for the right treatment, correct patient data is required. For this purpose, we need to eliminate anomalies and irrelevant data created by malicious persons, attackers, and unauthorized users. However, existing technologies are not able to detect adversaries and are unable to maintain the data for a long duration while transferring it. Aims: This research aims to identify adversarial attacks and solutions for these attacks to maintain reliable smart healthcare services Methodology: We proposed a Convolutional-Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (ConvBiLSTM) model that provides a solution for the detection of adversaries and robustness against adversaries. Bi-LSTM (Bidirectional-Long Short Term Memory), where the hyperparameters of BiLSTM are tuned using the PHMS (Prognosis Health Monitoring System) to detect malicious or irrelevant anomalies data. Result: Thus, the empirical outcomes of the proposed model showed that it accurately categorizes a patient's health status founded on abnormal vital signs and is useful for providing the proper medical care to the patients. Furthermore, the Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) performance is also evaluated spatially to examine the relationship between the sensor and CMS (Central Monitoring System) or doctor’s device. The accuracy, recall, precision, loss, time, and F1 score metrics are used for the performance evaluation of the proposed model. Conclusion: Besides, the proposed model performance is compared with the existing approaches using the MIMIC (Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care) data set.
Bi-LSTM(双向长短期记忆),其中使用PHMS(预后健康监测系统)对BiLSTM的超参数进行调优,以检测恶意或不相关的异常数据。

Introduction: An optimized support vector machine prediction model (SVM) with fuzzy information granulation (FIG) is established for surface prediction in this paper. Based on the measured data, cubic spline interpolation was processed and FIG approach was applied to granulate the surface settlement parameters into fuzzy particles Low, R and Up, and the particles are used to represent the range of the measured data variation. Method: For each fuzzy particle, particle swarm optimization (PSO) was used to select the best penalty and kernel function parameters to minimize the K-fold cross-validation (K-CV) error. With the optimized parameters, the prediction model was trained for the nonlinear prediction of fuzzy particles. Finally, the surface settlement trend in terms of Low, R, Up for the next construction stage can be predicted effectively based on the previous test data. Taking the surface settlement monitoring point D5-5 as an example, the error of the predicted range of surface settlement at D5-5 is 5.82%, 5.42%, and 8.0%, respectively Result: The error of other predicted points is also less than 10%, indicating the effectiveness of the prediction model. Compared with the numerical simulation results, the accuracy of the prediction model was further verified. Conclusion: Combined with the simulation method, the "simulation - prediction" patent scheme for monitoring the surface settlement of the Cross Passage is proposed in this paper. The research results indicate that the model proposed in this paper can easily and effectively predict the range and trend of changes in surface settlement, and is suitable for practical engineering applications.

Background: Cloud services have become a popular approach for offering efficient services for a wide range of activities. Predicting hardware failures in a cloud data center can minimize downtime and make the system more reliable and fault-tolerant. Objective: This research aims to analyze a predictive hardware failure model based on machine learning that anticipates the required remediations for undiagnosed failures in a cloud computing system serving multiclass requests. Methods: The model is tested on a carefully designed cloud data center that categorizes incoming requests as web, compute, storage, and dedicated server requests. To demonstrate improved reliability, a carefully designed test case is run on ReliaCloud-NS, which is a simulator for creating a CCS and computing its reliability. Results: The work found that using this model considerably enhanced the reliability of cloud computing systems when compared to not using the model. Conclusion: Although various estimation methods are patented to evaluate the system reliability of a cloud computing network, the emphasis of this study was mostly on improving the reliability of request-segregated clouds upon failing hardware resources like CPU, memory, bandwidth, and hard disc. Moreover, the prediction model might potentially be expanded to other system resources such as GPUs, software, and database packages.

Background: With ageing, the population, and the increasing number of people with compromised immunity, environmental problems are becoming increasingly severe. Infants and older people are greatly affected by respiratory airway blockages, such as phlegm accumulation leading to poor breathing or foreign bodies entering the body, thereby, increasingly complicating respiratory infectious diseases, and raising the demand for endoscopes. The endoscope can observe the pathological conditions and morphological changes of human diseased tissues and carry out corresponding ‘dredging". Endoscope lavage is an essential medical means to improve dyspnea and extract foreign bodies, so it has been widely used in medicine. Objective: To review the research status of the endoscope by combining the latest developments and technologies of endoscope cleaning and disinfection systems, lavage collection, and filtration systems in recent years (from 2015 to now) to achieve the purpose of continuous improvement and optimization of the endoscope Methods: By analyzing the patent features of the endoscope in the cleaning and disinfecting system and the irrigation fluid collection and filtration system, it shows that there is a greater risk of hospital cross-infection when the endoscope uses to make a diagnosis of a disease before it is applied to the human body and under direct vision, or when biopsy of a lesion is performed to make a pathological diagnosis, which explains that it is necessary to clean and disinfect the medical endoscope and collect the irrigation fluid beforehand. At the same time, to reduce patients' pain by performing only one irrigation procedure, it is crucial to filter the irrigation fluid to achieve a more accurate examination of the irrigation fluid biopsy. Results: By comparing the main problems existing in the endoscope, to prospect the development trend of the endoscope. Conclusion: By improving and optimizing the cleaning and disinfection system, the irrigation fluid collection, and the filtration system of the endoscope, the loopholes in the current technology can be solved and made more practical.

Abstract: The most crucial ingredient in agriculture is water. The amount of water that plants require must be provided to them. However, growers alternate between giving their plants more water than they truly need and giving them less and partly because they become over-watered due to meteorological circumstances like unexpected rainfall. Methodology: We employ an IoT-based intelligent irrigation system to get around this problem. It includes a centrifugal pump, a motor driver board, and a soil moisture sensor with YL69 probes. When the soil moisture level drops, the pump automatically delivers water to the plants with minimal human involvement. The electrical conductivity theory is how the sensor for soil moisture functions. A DHT11 sensor and a barometer, which provide information on the local temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, are both parts of the weather monitoring system with the help of this, farmers can forecast the local weather and plan their irrigation accordingly. Results: The Thing Speak API enables us to continually monitor information from a computer or mobile device, and the ESP8266 module links the complete system to the internet. Through this approach, water waste is reduced, and irrigation efficiency is increased while crop health and quality are preserved. Conclusion: Overall, this research demonstrated how the Internet of Things-based intelligent irrigation systems may enhance agricultural water management. By combining soil moisture monitoring, weather monitoring, and autonomous management, we may develop irrigation techniques that are more precise, effective and patent leading to higher crop yields and sustainable agricultural practices. method: The microcontroller Arduino UNO was used to develop the Smart Irrigation system for this automated system, which is crucial. The microcontroller, for instance, is connected to temperatures and soil moisture sensors. Hence, the result from such a sensor is sent to the Arduino UNO. The microcontroller receives inputs from these sensors and creates the required output and controls the water pump based on the soil and atmospheric conditions. This soil moisture sensor measures soil moisture as voltage, and to better interpret the moisture as a percentage, this data is mapped between 0 and 100.

However, growers alternate between giving their plants more water than they truly need and giving them less and partly because they become over-watered due to meteorological circumstances like unexpected rainfall. Methodology: We employ an IoT-based intelligent irrigation system to get around this problem. It includes a centrifugal pump, a motor driver board, and a soil moisture sensor with YL69 probes. When the soil moisture level drops, the pump automatically delivers water to the plants with minimal human involvement. The electrical conductivity theory is how the sensor for soil moisture functions. A DHT11 sensor and a barometer, which provide information on the local temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, are both parts of the weather monitoring system with the help of this, farmers can forecast the local weather and plan their irrigation accordingly. Results: The Thing Speak API enables us to continually monitor information from a computer or mobile device, and the ESP8266 module links the complete system to the internet. Through this approach, water waste is reduced, and irrigation efficiency is increased while crop health and quality are preserved. Conclusion: Overall, this research demonstrated how the Internet of Things-based intelligent irrigation systems may enhance agricultural water management. By combining soil moisture monitoring, weather monitoring, and autonomous management, we may develop irrigation techniques that are more precise, effective and patent leading to higher crop yields and sustainable agricultural practices. method: The microcontroller Arduino UNO was used to develop the Smart Irrigation system for this automated system, which is crucial. The microcontroller, for instance, is connected to temperatures and soil moisture sensors. Hence, the result from such a sensor is sent to the Arduino UNO. The microcontroller receives inputs from these sensors and creates the required output and controls the water pump based on the soil and atmospheric conditions. This soil moisture sensor measures soil moisture as voltage, and to better interpret the moisture as a percentage, this data is mapped between 0 and 100.","PeriodicalId":40022,"journal":{"name":"Recent Patents on Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136058494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Background: The trachea is an important part of the respiratory system, which is tubular. The upper part of the trachea connects to the throat, and its lower left and right branches lead to the lungs. The foreign body, compression of organs, and destruction of the tracheal ring can cause trachea stenosis. Mild tracheal stenosis can cause difficulty breathing, while severe tracheal stenosis can lead to death from respiratory failure, seriously endangering patients' quality of life. Tracheal stents are a prosthesis that addresses tracheal lumen obstruction or stenosis and maintains the diameter and patency of the lumen structure by providing internal support in resistance to external pressure to relieve patients' symptoms. Objective: This paper reviews the preparation methods of tracheal stents with various structures and similar vascular stents in recent years, looks for the deficiencies of existing preparation methods of tracheal stents, and finds new preparation methods to solve the functional defects of existing tracheal stents. Methods: Review the preparation patents of tracheal and vascular stents in recent years, and then analyze their advantages and disadvantages to find the improvement ideas of current tracheal stents to provide a direction for the future development of tracheal stent preparation technology. Results: Through the analysis and discussion of the existing technology, the existing problems and the future development direction of the tracheal stent preparation technology are found. Conclusion: A complete set of stent preparation technology for children should be designed for smaller stents, focusing on developing better-performance composite materials, and the new preparation technology should focus on the composite of various existing preparation technologies. In the future, we should pay attention to developing the preparation technology for tissue engineering stents.
