The article is devoted to the issue of institutionalization (transformation) of efferent treatment methods in the world, from Hippocrates to the present day. The history of efferent treatment methods is quite relevant in the modern world in connection with the development of science and advanced methods of treating patients. The development process is complex and thorny, and in order to avoid possible serious mistakes, it is useful to turn to history: studying the experience of past centuries helps to identify patterns in the development of a particular process. The authors of the article consider the institutionalization (transformation) of efferent treatment methods as a process associated with the formation of the main components, i.e. clinical training and practical application of this method by doctors. It is shown that the formation of the clinical component consisted in the introduction of clinical training methods, stages in approaches to treatment, and the formation of an effective system for monitoring the data obtained during experiments. The formation of a practical component for doctors was expressed in the expansion of the scope of knowledge and horizons on this topic, change in the doctor's thinking on efferent treatment methods, and the inclusion of patients with different nosological forms in the treatment algorithm. Prospects for fur ther development of ef ferent therapy have been proposed.

Research on the creation of a vaccine against CE in the USSR was started in 1937 shortly after the isolation and initial study of the CE virus. In 1939, a team of authors led by Professors A. A. Smorodintsev and E. N. Levkovich prepared the first samples of the CE vaccine, which was a 5 % suspension of brain tissue of mice infected with tick-borne encephalitis virus, inactivated with formalin at a concentration of 1:600–1:750. To this day, many vaccines have been developed, which are an integral salvation against the deadly virus.

A study of bone tissue regeneration under conditions of experimental periodontitis with stimulation of reparation by multipotent mesenchymal cells was carried out. The stimulating effect of the studied cell cultures on the proliferation and differentiation of periodontal osteogenic elements was revealed.

This study shows that a combined treatment regimen consisting of a NSAID group drug and a slow-acting chondroprotective agent has a positive effect in the therapy of subcompensated osteoarthritis of the knee joint. Diacerein has an anti-inflammatory effect and inhibits the activity of interleukin-1, interleukin-6, and TNF-alpha, as well as collagenase and elastase, which destroy the hyaline cartilage. However, the effect of the drug does not occur immediately, which justifies its combination with NSAIDs.

The efficiency indicators of low-intensity laser therapy in patients with a combination of deviated septum and vasomotor rhinitis in the postoperative period were studied. The analysis was carried out in the groups with favorable and unfavorable courses. The features of the use of low-intensity laser radiation for faster restoration of nasal functions and improvement of the postoperative course were established.

Mental disorders are currently very common, and it is believed that in Europe, by 2050, the number of patients will more than double. At the same time, there has been a steady decline in students’ interest in choosing psychiatry as their specialty. Therefore, students tend to research and identify factors leading to low interest in psychiatry and compare the impact of internships among medical students around the world, as it is no longer just a local problem, but a global problem

The article is devoted to the problem of providing medical care to patients with cardiovascular pathology. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were significant changes in the system of medical care due to the heavy burden on medical organizations. The results of the study indicate the successful return of the activities of medical organizations providing medical care to patients with cardiovascular pathology to the pre-pandemic parameters.

Practice shows that about 30 % of victims with injuries compatible with life may die without receiving first aid as soon as possible. That is why the emergency medical station developed the «call hold» algorithm. The bottom line is that the dispatcher instructs the patient or the person who is next to him/her, what needs to be done before the arrival of the medical team.
