At present, almost all developed countries of the world have realized the need to reform their education systems so that students really become the central figure in the educational process, and so that the cognitive activity of the student is in the center of attention of teachers and researchers. The preparation of a highly qualified specialist who is in demand in the market and able to independently make decisions within the framework of professional competence is the main task of the teacher. Such training is impossible without the introduction of new forms and methods of teaching. The purpose and objectives of the work: to determine the effectiveness of the introduction of modern interactive teaching methods into the educational process during a practical lesson on the topic "Antibiotic Therapy" in Clinical Pharmacology.

Antiseptic drugs (R02AA) are the most commonly used symptomatic drugs for the treatment of patients with symptoms of catarrhal pharyngitis. According to the ATC classification, 311 medicines belong to the group of antiseptic drugs. Such a variety of drugs accounts for the problem of choice and, as a result, a decrease in the effectiveness of the treatment and the manifestation of a large number of side effects. The purpose of the research: to conduct an informational and analytical study of a combined antiseptic that caused an adverse drug reaction in a patient diagnosed with pharyngitis.

The growing resistance of infectious agents to antimicrobial drugs (AMDs) is an important issue in antimicrobial therapy. The rate of emergence of new antibiotics against the background of the development and reproduction of resistant microorganisms is in stagnation. Ceftaroline, one of the AMD representatives, has valuable properties, which, among other things, distinguish it from other antibiotics. It is especially valuable for its activity against the main causative agent of the skin and soft tissue infection S. aureus (MRSA). It also exhibits activity against penicillin-, macrolide- and fluoroquinolone-resistant pneumococci, as well as Haemophilus influenzae strains that produce beta-lactamases, and provides opportunities for the treatment of respiratory infections.

Cefepime/sulbactam is a combined antibiotic with a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity, including cefepime, the fourth-generation cephalosporin, and sulbactam, the beta-lactamase inhibitor, in a 1:1 ratio. Cefepime/sulbactam has a bactericidal effect: it causes a disorder in cell wall synthesis due to blockade of transpeptidase and a disorder in the formation of cross-links in peptidoglycan [1]. Today, the problem of antibiotic resistance is growing rapidly. In the WHO list, a critically high level of priority for the development of new antibiotics is occupied by infections caused by ESBL-producing gram-negative bacteria that are resistant to cephalosporins, as well as carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales, Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa [2]. Infections caused by multiresistant bacteria are characterized by a longer course, require prolonged hospitalization, are very difficult to treat with modern antibacterial drugs, and increase the risk of death [3]. In this regard, a deeper study of the action of individual antibacterial drugs and their combination with β-lactamase inhibitors in the treatment of diseases caused by multiresistant microorganisms is crucial.

The concept of the internal picture of the disease is widely used in domestic medical, as well as medical and psychological practice; its practical use increases the effectiveness of therapeutic and rehabilitation processes. The development of the concept of the internal picture of the disease is the formation of ideas about the internal picture of treatment and the internal picture of pharmacotherapy. The internal picture of treatment is defined as the patient's subjective perception of the treatment process from going to the doctor to changing the lifestyle in the dynamics of the therapeutic process. In the internal picture of treatment, sensory and intellectual levels are distinguished. The study of the internal picture of the disease in schizophrenia and the dissociation of mental functions with the separation of the associative process and emotional, sensory experience, and the presence of productive symptoms contribute to the formation of an inadequate attitude towards the disease, which enhances the patient's disadaptation.

According to WHO, depressive disorders are 4 times more common among patients suffering from chronic pain with insomnia. Insomnia in depression complicated by pain is a clinical syndrome characterized by nocturnal sleep disorders and related disorders during daytime wakefulness, occurring even when there is sufficient time and conditions for sleep. Treatment of insomnia patients with amitriptyline, phenazepam, and bromocamphor reduced the average duration of hospitalization, improved the patients’ quality of life, and reduced the frequency of seeking neurological care.

Omalizumab is one of the longest-used monoclonal antibodies and the first available treatment option for severe allergic asthma in patients aged 6 years and older. Its efficacy and safety were established in several randomized controlled trials, leading to its final registration over 15 years ago. In most cases, long-term treatment with omalizumab is safe and does not increase the risk of adverse reactions. However, over the years, there has been a trend towards an increase in the registration of adverse events associated with the use of omalizumab.
