Place-Based Education: Society as a Multidisciplinary LearningEnvironment 在地教育:作为多学科学习环境的社会

Those moments when the learner is deeply immersed in experience of the world and what is happening in it; learning is made natural and profound. There are a lot to learn about the places where he lives and from traveling around the world getting out into the community. However, the experience of education that depends on the study of the place remains the exception. The transition from the restricted education approach inside the school to the real education approach is a goal agreed upon by many educators. Place-based education is a form of realistic education that extends outside the classroom. This education represents a link between learners and society, as it depends on solving real-world problems, with this method; education becomes interdisciplinary, combining history, geography, science, environment, media, and languages which increase the pleasure of learning across different disciplines. This paper aims to provide a thorough view of the concept of place-based education, its objectives, benefits and foundation. The paper proposes ways to apply it in multidisciplinary classrooms and provides examples of topics that can be discussed throughout. Keywords: Place- Based Education, Multidisciplinary Learning.

The role of school principals in promoting human rights values among students with special needs in primary schools within the Green Line 学校校长在绿线内的小学中向有特殊需要的学生宣传人权价值观方面的作用

This study came in line with the previous educational literature and previous studies that called for the need to conduct more studies on the concepts of human rights. Therefore, it aimed to identify and understand the reality of promoting human rights concepts among students with special needs. The current study attempted to answer the following two questions: (1) What is the role of school principals in promoting human rights values among students with special needs in primary schools within the Green Line?, and (2) Are there statistically significant differences between the average teachers’ estimates in the role of school principals in promoting human rights values among students with special needs in primary schools within the Green Line attributed to gender, educational qualification, years of experience?. The descriptive survey method was used, through the development of a questionnaire that was distributed to (254) male and female teachers. The results showed the promotion of human rights concepts among students. Those with special needs from the teachers' point of view came at a medium degree. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences for the role of school principals in promoting human rights values among students with special needs in primary schools within the Green Line due to the study variables, i.e., gender, educational qualification, and educational experience.Keywords: human rights, people with special needs, primary schools.

The Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) was the oldest educational institution in Indonesia. From its ancient history, it is a community-based educational institution (community-based education which is established, organized and organized by society). After 1936, as a result of the development of Islamic boarding schools, it was divided into two parts: traditional, known as Salafism, and Modernism. Although Islamic boarding schools, known as "pesantren", are a well-established social reality in Indonesian society, they have not received much attention and government intervention to develop or empower them in government laws and regulations from its original inception to 1998. There are questions in this area: How does education in Islamic boarding schools look like? Has education applied contemporary educational methods and theories? Do the recently implemented Islamic boarding school teaching and learning processes apply higher thinking skills? How are higher thinking skills applied in Islamic boarding schools? The method in this research is a descriptive introspective analysis that will be discussed through inductive analysis on how to implement higher thinking skills by following the various activities carried out in Islamic boarding schools, from teaching and learning activities to the daily activities of students, through this discussion, the model of applying higher thinking skills in modern Islamic boarding schools and its advantages will be shown.Key words: Kiahi - Creative Thinking - Activities - Model - Acquisition - Salafism and Modernity

The relationship of Language Disorder with school child’s psychological and academic compatibility 语言障碍与学龄儿童心理和学业兼容性的关系

This study aimed at investigating the relationship between language disorders of school child and psychological and academic compatibility.; In order to achieve this aim, the researchers followed the descriptive method in addition to some educational methods including; Zeineb Cheir’s psychological compatibility scale, and the academic results of pupils who suffer from language disorders, depending on their term averages. Thus; the educational tools were applied to a population of 10 pupils selected intentionally. The study attained the following results: There existed an inverse correlation between language disorder and school child’s psychological compatibility. There existed an inverse correlation between language disorder and school child’s academic compatibility. According to the previous results, the researchers formulated a set of recommendations and suggestions including:  Providing the primary schools with specialists on language disorders and psychological care. Programming training courses for teachers on how to treat pupils who have language difficulties. Making specialized classes with particular educational methods and tools for this category of pupils.Key Words: Language Disorders, Psychological Compatibility, Academic Compatibility.

Many factors and reasons combine to make children with disabilities loot feelings of frustration, failure and inferiority, and artistic activities for people with disabilities provide many opportunities to do equal work with others, through which they practice formation and formulation of ideas, interact with external stimuli and control their environments, and this helps them enjoy their ability to act and investigate what they may He compensates them for many of their previous experiences, coupled with failure and frustration.Psychology's use of graphics in general is increasing and expanding, not only in the field of measuring mental abilities, but also in the field of in-depth clinical diagnosis.Research Methodology, and Type of Study: The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach in presenting and analyzing the theoretical framework related to the study and inductive research in presenting the different concepts that depend primarily on content analysis to realize the shape, symbol, projective value and psychological dimensions in the drawings of mentally handicapped children who are able to learn.This study aimed: to identify the psychological dimensions in the drawings of mentally handicapped children who are able to learn and their relationship to the dimensions of psychological adaptation, as well as to identify the psychological dimensions according to the gender variable through formal symbolic connotations and the projective value in their drawings. Medical rehabilitation in Fayoum Governorate, Arab Republic of Egypt, to determine psychological dimensions through formal symbolic connotations and projective value in their drawings. Assumed results, and summary of results: Psychological dimensions have been identified in the drawings of mentally handicapped children who are able to learn, through the results reached by the researcher. Some have excessive erasure and blurring of shapes, pressure on lines, loss of organization, limited use of colors, drawing unstable oblique shapes, minimizing drawing elements, or exaggerating magnification of some of these elements, and the lack of coherence between the drawn shapes, as their drawings turn into geometric shapes, symbols and exaggerated shapes.Accordingly, the researcher formulated the problem as follows:. Is it possible to identify the psychological dimensions in the drawings of mentally handicapped children who are able to learn and their relationship to the dimensions of psychological adaptation? . Is it possible to benefit from identifying the formal symbolic connotations and the projective value in the drawings of mentally handicapped children who are able to learn and their relationship to the dimensions of psychological adaptation?

This Research aimed at identify trends in developing approaches to planning educational systems as dynamics, through dealing with a theoretical and conceptual framework on the approaches to educational planning and dynamic systems, recent trends in developing approaches to planning education systems as dynamic, and the benefits of these trends in planning the Egyptian educational system. The paper used the descriptive approach. It concluded that these trends - Chaos Theory, Strategic Planning, and the Theory of Cybernetics - represent a qualitative transfer in the study of social systems in general, and the educational system in particular, where it proved that these systems are dynamic and change, which made their study completely different from what was followed before; as small changes in any component of the education system will ultimately have a major impact.Key Words: Educational Planning ,Approaches to Planning Educational Systems,Dynamic Systems.

This research work aims to examine how far a proposed strategy is effective in developing KSU Common First Year students’ motivations. The researcher used a quantitative method. The sample was selected from the 3-credit-hour (CUR 101) course students at KSU CFY. The researcher’s two classes had 88 students divided equally between the control group and the pilot group. Pre and post measurements took place before and after applying the strategy respectively. Key results came as follows: there is a “0,05” difference in the average motivations of the post measurement in favor of the Experimental group, with the exception of the easy work dimension of the secondary measurement of external attitude, where differences were not statistically significant at 0,05 < 0,254. The results showed also a difference in the average motivations of the pilot group when the pre and post measurements have 0,05 difference in favor of the pilot study. The Univariate Analysis of variance showed statistically significant differences of 0,05 with an impact 0.14 in favor of the pilot group. This indicates the strategy impact on identifying differences between the pre and post measurements of the Experimental group on the one hand, and its impact in identifying differences between the pilot and control group in favor of the Experimental group on the other hand. The research recommends that educators should teach their students the learning strategies that contribute to enhancing their learning motivations.

This study aims to know the Servant leadership of government school principals in Al- Rusaifah district and its relationship with teachers’ achievement motivation from the teachers' point of view, The researchers used the descriptive correlative method, study population consisted of (627) secondary school's teachers ,(157) teachers were selected as a simple random sample. The researchers developed a questionnaire for data collection, assuring its validity and reliability, then distributing it to the study sample and conducting the statistical analysis. There is a relationship between the practice of servant leadership among high school principals in the Rusaifah district and the motivation of principals for achievement. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤ 0.05) about the practice of servant leadership among secondary school principals in the Rusaifah district from the teacher's point of view, due to gender, educational qualification and experience, The researchers recommended the necessity of conducting further studies on leadership patterns and their relationship to achievement motivation. The study aims to identify the extent of the availability of e-learning competencies and the obstacles to its use in university education among professors of the faculties of education, University of Tripoli, And the detection of statistical differences in the degree of availability of e-learning competencies among the professors, and this According to the following variables: academic qualification, specialization, the scientific degree, years of experience, the researchers used the descriptive analytical method and the questionnaire as a tool to collect data from the research community, which numbered (160) professors, by drawing a random sample of (60) strength, by (38%) and using the appropriate statistical methods for the Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS).The results showed that the level of "e-learning culture, the computer use, and the equipment" among the professors of the Faculty of Education at Janzour was at a medium degree, while the "adequacy of using the information network" was at a high degree.And according to the obstacles which faced by professors in implementing e-learning programs in university education, were come with a moderate degree from the point of view of the research sample members, and The results showed, according to the degree of availability of e-learning competencies, there no statistically significant differences in the degree of availability of e-learning competencies due to the variable "Educational qualification" for all dimensions of the first axis "e-learning culture, And the use of the World Wide Web, the computer skills, and e-learning equipment in the college", It also showed that there are statistically significant differences in the degree of availability of e-learning competencies due to the variable "Scientific degree" (according to associate professor), at the level (0.05), and in the dimension of "E-learning culture", and there are differences (according to the academic degree professor) From the members of the research sample, for the dimension of "computer use, and the use of the World Wide Web". It also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of availability of e-learning competencies due to the variable "years of experience" for all dimensions of the research tool's axes.

Satisfying the psychological needs of students with mobility disabilities who are integrated in general education schools. 满足融入普通教育学校的行动障碍学生的心理需要。

The study aimed to identify the satisfied psychological needs of students with mobility disabilities who are integrated in general education schools, specifically at UNRWA schools. The study sample was almost all students who suffered from mobility disabilities learn in basic elementary grades at Gaza Governate; they counted (n=95) students from 110 populations. The study basically implemented a questionnaire prepared by the researcher, psychometrically, specifically to be used in the current study; it has five needs domains: safety, relatedness, competence, autonomy and participation. The results revealed that level of satisfied psychological needs among students with mobility disabilities was on moderate average. Regarding domains of the questionnaire the study showed that levels of satisfied needs were as follow: need for love and relatedness were the highest weighing 75%, need for safety weighted 73%, need for autonomy got 65.8% weight, need for competence weighted 63%, finally need for participation got 61%. This conclusion reflected continuum from mostly to least satisfied needs. Results lead researcher to arrange the psychological needs of students with mobility disabilities from low level to high level of satisfaction as follow: need for participation, need for competence, need for autonomy, need for safety and need for relatedness.
