Este trabajo estudia la cultura organizacional (CO) como motor para impulsar la innovación social corporativa (ISC) en las empresas. Con una metodología basada en la revisión sistemática de la literatura, la principal contribución académica es el diseño de un marco teórico que permite dilucidar qué tipo de CO es la más adecuada para albergar la ISC, así como una propuesta original de factores clave para promover dicha cultura. Esta propuesta pretende también ser una guía para directivos y profesionales a fin de implantar culturas organizacionales proclives a la innovación social en sus empresas.

Introducción: Ecuador está en la mitad inferior de la tabla de competitividad del World Economic Forum 2019. Metodología: A través de una revisión documental de los principales modelos y estudios relacionados, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las razones de la baja competitividad del modelo económico del Ecuador e identificar los factores determinantes para fomentar su recuperación y competitividad empresarial. Resultados: Más de una tercera parte de líderes y empresarios menciona que el tipo de liderazgo es transaccional o no tiene liderazgo; menos de la mitad poseen una creencia profunda; menos del 20% posee un Consejo de Administración y el uso de tecnologías disruptivas es mínimo. Discusión: La cultura organizacional con centro en las personas, con códigos como la tecnología y el manejo de un buen gobierno corporativo, es indispensable para proyectar la empresa. Conclusiones: La competitividad está relacionada directamente con la capacidad de tener enfoque hacia el futuro.

Given the existing deficiencies in the today’s capitalist system to reduce social and human imbalances, in recent decades, both social and economy of communion entrepreneurship have emerged as new business models of high social innovation impact and humankind. However, knowledge of this type of enterprise, and the variables that can affect their activation and development is still low. One particular interest is to analyze the impact of sex on the process of starting-up these businesses, and whether being a woman acts as a trigger. Thus, by analyzing the characteristics of social and economy of communion entrepreneurship, as well as utilizing women entrepreneurship literature, we will show compatibilities between being a woman and this type of entrepreneurship, especially with regards to the necessary impetus to successfully address the different stages of the businesses creation process.

The present article aims to establish the current situation in relation to the knowledge of Spiritual Intelligence capacities and the practice needed to develop them by the people in charge to implement these practices on the Catalan organizations. The author develops the features and characteristics of Spiritual Intelligence that can be most useful in a corporation environment, those that can affect the implementation of a new type of business, fairer, more environmentally conscious and whose values are closer to citizen ethics. There is strong pressure from today’s society for organizations to assume a series of values that range from the social to the environmental and from the ethical to the fair, which are intimately related to Spiritual Intelligence.
