La prévalence des dermatoses liées à l’utilisation de cosmétiques ne cesse de croître. La composition de plus en plus sophistiquée de ces produits n’y est pas étrangère. Plusieurs mécanismes sont incriminés dans la réaction d’irritation et l’eczéma de contact. Le bilan diagnostique n’est pas toujours facile. L’interrogatoire tente de cibler au mieux les substances suspectées et les circonstances de déclenchement. Vient ensuite l’étape des tests cutanés qui sont réalisés en fonction du contexte.
The prevalence of cosmetics-related dermatitis is on the rise. The increasingly sophisticated composition of these products has a lot to do with it. Several mechanisms are incriminated in irritation reactions and contact eczema. Diagnosis is not always easy. Questioning tries to pinpoint the suspected substances and the circumstances in which they were triggered. Then comes the skin testing stage, which is carried out according to the context.

Initialement utilisés dans le traitement de la dépendance à l’héroïne, ils sont désormais aussi employés dans la prise en charge des dépendances à tous types d’opioïdes.
Opioid substitution drugs, marketed in France since 1996 and reimbursed by the national health insurance scheme, are part of the medical, psychological and social treatment of opioid-dependent patients. Initially used to treat heroin dependence, they are now also used to treat dependence on all types of opioids.

Une initiation de traitement par un β-bloquant non cardiosélectif tel que le cartéolol doit systématiquement faire l’objet d’une recherche d’antécédents d’asthme. Ce type de médicament, même administré par voie oculaire, peut induire une exacerbation de l’asthme. Le pharmacien d’officine doit refuser la délivrance chez les patients asthmatiques ou ayant des antécédents d’asthme, et proposer au médecin prescripteur une alternative.
When initiating treatment with a non-cardioselective β-blocker such as kateolol, a history of asthma should always be sought. This type of drug, even when administered via the ocular route, can induce asthma exacerbation. The dispensing pharmacist must refuse to dispense to patients with asthma or a history of asthma, and suggest an alternative to the prescribing physician.
