Le département de pharmacie de l’unité de formation et de recherche des sciences de la santé et du sport de l’université de Lille développe, depuis fin 2022, un Campus sans tabac qui s’appuie sur les recommandations du programme national de lutte contre le tabac 2018-2022. Les premiers résultats ont montré une forte adhésion des étudiants et des personnels au projet. Cet accueil très favorable a pu être mis en perspective avec un tabagisme passif très marqué dans les espaces extérieurs du campus.
The Department of Pharmacy of the Health and Sport Sciences Unit (University of Lille) has been developing a “Tobacco-Free College Campus” since the end of 2022, based on the recommendations of the 2018-2022 National Tobacco Control Programme. Students and staff on the campus were very supportive of the project. This favorable reception may be put into perspective with the heavy passive smoking in outside settings of the campus.

La 17e édition du Prix interfacultés de dispensation d’ordonnance, organisé par l’Association pour la promotion des pharmacies expérimentales, a mis à l’honneur, le 10 juin 2025, deux thématiques particulièrement représentatives de la pratique officinale : la prise en charge de la migraine et la délivrance d’une contraception d’urgence. Ces situations très fréquentes au comptoir illustrent à quel point le rôle du pharmacien dépasse la simple délivrance de médicaments pour inclure un accompagnement et une écoute active.
The 17th edition of the Interfaculty Prescription Dispensation Award, organised by the Association for the Promotion of Experimental Pharmacies, honoured two themes particularly representative of pharmacy practice on 10 June 2025 : migraine management and emergency contraception. These very common situations at the counter illustrate how the role of the pharmacist goes beyond simply dispensing medication to include support and active listening.

Le diagnostic d’infection d’une plaie est clinique et doit être évoqué en présence de signes inflammatoires locaux francs, d’un retard de cicatrisation et/ou de l’apparition de douleurs, a fortiori en présence de signes généraux. Dans ce contexte, une antibiothérapie systémique peut être proposée, en tenant compte des caractéristiques de la plaie (profondeur, ancienneté, gravité). Il convient de privilégier des antibiotiques à spectre étroit et d’opter pour une durée de traitement courte.
The diagnosis of wound infection is clinical and should be considered in the presence of clear local signs of inflammation, delayed healing, and/or the onset of pain, especially in the presence of general signs. In this context, systemic antibiotic therapy may be proposed, taking into account the characteristics of the wound (depth, age, severity). Narrow-spectrum antibiotics should be preferred and a short course of treatment should be chosen.

Souvent rencontré chez les jeunes enfants, l’impétigo est une infection cutanée bactérienne très contagieuse, mais le plus souvent bénigne. Une prise en charge rapide et une bonne hygiène permettent de limiter sa propagation et d’éviter les complications. L’équipe officinale joue un rôle clé dans l’identification précoce des symptômes, la délivrance d’un traitement adapté et la sensibilisation des familles aux mesures de prévention.
Often found in young children, impetigo is a highly contagious, but usually benign, bacterial skin infection. Prompt treatment and good hygiene can limit its spread and prevent complications. The pharmacy team plays a key role in the early identification of symptoms, the provision of appropriate treatment and raising families’ awareness of preventive measures.

In certain situations, it can be partially damaged when our defenses are weakened, leading to a destabilization of skin homeostasis and promoting the development of infections. Many microorganisms are involved in skin infections.
