In Mobile Adhoc networks there will be a transient nature of channel conditions. Rate control is the process of switching data rates dynamically based on channel conditions. We propose a rate adaption algorithm. The channel condition information is given as the input to the Rate selection algorithm. Now with the channel condition information, each node uses the rate selection algorithm to calculate the most energy-efficient setting of PHY rates for all links in its maximum interference range.

Cleaning products play an essential role in our daily lives. By safely and effectively removing soil, germs and other contaminants, they help us to stay healthy, care for our homes and possessions, and make our surrounding more pleasant. Soap is a mixture of sodium salt of various naturally occurring fatty acids. Total alkali and fatty matter contents are the most important characteristics describing the quality of soap and it is always specified in commercial transactions. The main objective of the study is to determine the total alkali content and total fatty matter content of some commonly used toilet and washing soaps.

Cloud computing is an upcoming technology in the field of IT industry. Cost reduction, speed processing, simple accessibility and scalability are the important features of cloud computing. Cloud is robust authentication and more secured technology and it spread in many areas like healthcare sectors in which storing patient information securely more important. The major issues involved in the cloud computing is data confidentiality, data sharing among geographical locations, storing data. This paper provides survey on privacy, security issues and a brief summary about opportunities in cloud. Also it provides a start-up of traditional medical scenario, problems in the current scenario, benefits by adopting cloud in e-health sector and issues arising during adoption of cloud in e-health domain. A methodology of private cloud Iaas is proposed for storing patient and health data in cloud environment.

The mathematical model of immobilized enzyme system in porous spherical particle is presented. This model is based on a non-stationary diffusion equation containing a nonlinear term related to Michaelis-Menten kinetics of enzymatic reaction. A general and closed form of an analytical expression pertaining to the substrate concentration profile and effectiveness factor are reported for all possible values of Thiele modules φ andα . However, we have employed New Homotopy Perturbation Method (NHPM) to solve the nonlinear reaction/diffusion equation in immobilized enzymes system. Therefore, analytical results were found to be in an appropriate agreement with simulation result.

The major problem that the human race is facing now is the effects of the E-pollution caused by the waste of Electrical and Electronics Equipments. So, there should be a rule to prevent the people from damaging the ecosystem of our country to save nature to save people. The implementation of different ways for the prohibition of dumping WEEE should be sanctioned by the legal system. We should be activated by the Legal action to control the WEEE. An economic solution and different disiplinary are designed to achieve an optimal source to reuse and reduce the WEEE.

First principles calculations based on Density Functional Theory have been done on Polydiacetylene. Its triclinic unit cell has been simulated. Band gap in case of this material comes out to be 0.75eV. This value is in the range exhibited by semiconducting materials. Dielectric constant and Polarizability of the material have been computed. The value of dielectric constant comes out to be 50.6, 59.6 and 44.6 along X, Y and Z axes respectively and its average value comes out to be 51.6. Polarizability comes out to be 33.7 (Å)3, 34 (Å)3 and 33.4 (Å)3 along X, Y and Z axes respectively with an average value of 33.7 (Å)3.

Energy-Energy analysis of present vapour compression refrigeration system is done using isentropic fluid as refrigerants R134a.This thermodynamic analysis is carried out by 2nd law of thermodynamic approach in terms of COPII. The performance of the system both theoretical and actual experimental have been computed in summer condition. The results of proposed title explain the high-grade energy consumption by compressor with 1 TR of cooling effect. COPII indicates the actual energy output from the system in summer climate. Due to higher GWP and ODP of R22, R134a can be used for domestic / commercial and industrial applications.

Damage or non-functioning of beta cells of Langerhans is lets of pancreas causes Type I diabetes. Curcumin, a bioflavonoid, have shown some tissue regenerative properties. It has shown a very good wound healing actions in diabetic animals after topical applications. In view of this, we planned to study the regenerative action of curcumin on damaged pancreas of diabetic rats after its topical applications on wounds. Damage of pancreas and induction of Type I diabetes in rats was achieved by single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (60mg/kg b.wt.). Thereafter, open excisional wounds were created and wounded rats were divided into three groups viz. i) healthy control (non-diabetic), ii) Diabetic control and iii) Diabetic-treated. Pluronic F-127 gel (25%) was applied topically on wounds of group I and II once daily for 19 days. Curcumin (0.3%) in gel was topically applied similarly on group III. Average body weight gain was less and blood glucose levels were high in group II and III. There were also higher levels of MDA in group II and III. Histopathologically, atrophy and loss of intactness of beta cells of langerhans is lets in the pancreas were evident in group II and III, as compared to group I. In conclusion, topical applications of curcumin on wounds of diabetic rats did not able to prevent the damage of beta cells of the pancreas produced by single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (60mg/kg b.wt.). In future, the other higher or lower concentrations of curcumin and their nano-formulations may be tried to evaluate the protective actions.

In today’s academic system teaching has become more difficult and learning becomes so far lagging in the students. The students are now resistive with the traditional teaching methods. Some of the difficult concepts cannot be taught by using Chalk and Talk method. So, use of ICT tools and innovative teaching learning pedagogy becomes essential in engineering colleges. But due to lack of sufficient time, all methods cannot be implemented. In this research, WhatsApp technology is used for better understanding and self-learning of the difficult concepts. The impact of this method on the understanding of the participants is also analyzed.

The indiscriminate usage of antibiotics in the past few years is one of the main reasons behind increased incidences of antimicrobial resistance. The development of potent antibacterial agents to combat this problem is the need of present era. In view of this, in present study, cobalt (Co) nanoparticles were chemically synthesized by standard method. The synthesized Co nanoparticles were tested against the S. aureus and E. coli bacterial strains, and the minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentrations (MBC) values of Co nanoparticles were determined against these bacterial strains on the day of Co nanoparticles synthesis and after their storage for 30 and 60 days. The Co nanoparticles showed antibacterial actions against S. aureus and E. coli bacterial strains. The MIC values of fresh chemically synthesized Co nanoparticles in this study for S. aureus and E. coli were 140.0 μg/ml and 100.0 μg/ml, respectively. The MBC values of these nanoparticles for S. aureus and E. coli were 260.0 μg/ml and 220.0 μg/ml, respectively. The MIC and MBC values of Co nanoparticles increased on storage of its suspensions for 30 as well as 60 days. It might be considered as potent antibacterial candidate in future after some additional investigations.
