A smart city is acondition where a pervasive, multi-service network is occupied to affordpeoplebetter-qualityactive conditions as well as better public safety. Innovative communication technologies are needed to scope this goal. In specific, awell-organized and reliable broadcast network the stage a crucial role in as long as continue, ubiquitous, and reliable interconnections among users, smart devices, and applications. As aimportance, wireless networking appears as the main enabling announcement technology despite the necessity to face severe experimentations to satisfy the wants arising from a smart environment, such as explosive data volume, heterogeneous data traffic, and maintenance of quality of service restraints. Astimulating approach for meeting the developing data demand due to smart city applications is to adopt suitable methodologies to improve the usage of all potential spectrum resources. Towards this goal, a very promising solution is characterized by the Cognitive Radio technology that enables context-aware competence in order to pursue an efficient use of the accessibleannouncement resources according to the neighboring environment conditions. This thesis provides a review of the features, challenges, and solutions of a smart city message architecture, based on the Cognitive Radio technology, by focusing on two new network paradigms—namely, Heterogeneous Network and Machines-to-Machines communications—that are of differentattention to professionallyprovision smart city applications and services.

Sponges, exclusively are aquatic and mostly marine, are found from the deepest oceans to the edge of the sea. There are approximately 15,000 species of sponges in the world, of which, 150 occur in freshwater, but only about 17 are of commercial value. A total of 486 species of sponges have been identified in India. In the Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay a maximum of 319 species of sponges have been recorded. It has been proved that marine organisms are excellent source of bioactive secondary metabolites and number of compounds of originated from marine organisms had been reported to possess in-vitro and in-vivo immuno stimulatory activity. Extracts from 20 sponge species were tested for bacterial symbionts and bioactive compounds were isolated from such associated bacterial species in the present study.

Global-Integration and Local-Responsiveness (IR) framework with four pairs of external environment and appropriate international strategy types has contributed significantly to international business management. Nevertheless, the framework is still incomplete and lacks dynamic features. To deal with such limitations and enhance the theory, this paper, therefore, brings dynamic features regarding both environment and strategy into the IR grid. Under a dynamic capability angle with three steps of sensing, seizing and transforming [30], the dynamic global integration and local responsiveness framework – a new concept building for international business – would be explicated.

Data mining is an important factor of success for modern business processes. Modern Integrating data mining with business solutions will improve the business process model (BPM) and enhance the overall business process management framework. The proposed architecture promises to provide great support for flexible design, deployment and managementof business processes. Incorporating services of data mining in order to choose the appropriate business model, determining missing standards and deploying machine learning techniques in an applicable manner is a challenging task discussed in the paper. Theproposed work describes the overall contribution of data mining services and validates the novelty in architecture by defining user roles for business, decision mining and IT standards. Supervised and unsupervised learning technique is used for determining similarity between the proposed model and the previously stored models.

Usage of wireless networks and its internet applications has becoming an important task in present days, because of significant changes in network attacks. An ID (Intrusion Detection System) is an effective framework which reduces different tasks of networks & generates the attack sequences to the organization of network system. So privacy and security is the most and effective measure for any type of network framework. So intrusion detection is an important research topic in network communication. AODV (Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector) and Enhanced AODV’s are the two approaches were used to support intrusion detection in static wireless ad hoc networks. To provide effective intrusion detection for dynamic ad hoc networks, in this paper, we propose and introduce a novel semi supervised approach i.e. RCPHC (Relational Classification by Pattern based Hierarchal Clustering). This approach is introduced to support two main issues, first one is select most relevant feature from network communication based on information gain, and second one is to split the required node value is chosen from overall data source and then classifier impartial towards most regular values. Our experimental results will perform based on different attributes and also maintain equivalence simulation time in dynamic wireless transmission. Proposed algorithm will use for signature based intrusion detection in wireless ad hoc networks.

India is a multi-cultural and multi-religion county. Due to the globalization, professional qualification evolved in India and started getting lot of due importance. India has become the global hub of the professional institutes, which imparts quality education and training to their students. It is a well established fact that culture/religion and education majorly influence communication and more importantly conflict resolution style. It can also be said that communication gets lot importance in professional qualification/training and students are well trained to adopt the appropriate communication and conflict resolution style. In this study we have considered the sample of professionally qualified people belonging to two major religious communities of India i.e. Hindu & Muslims and with the help of in-depth quantitative analysis studied the pattern of conflict resolution styles which are specific to the mentioned communities.

One of the major challenge from unplanned growth in the cities is the fire incidents posing a serious threat to life and property. Delhi, the capital city of India, has seen unplanned growth of colonies resulting in a serious concern for the relevant agencies. This paper investigates the relation between potential causes of fire incidents during 2013-2016 in South-West Delhi Division of Delhi Fire Services as part of risk analysis using the data about fire stations & their jurisdictions, incidents of fire, water reservoirs available, landuse and population data along with the divisional & sub-divisional boundaries of South-West Delhi division under Delhi Fire Service. Statistical and Geospatial tools have been used together to perform the risk analysis. The analysis reveals that difference in actual occupancy and defined landuse as a part of unplanned growth of settlements is found to be the main reason behind the major fire incidents. The suggested mitigation measures focus on legal, policy, physical & technological aspects and highlight the need to bring the systemic changes with changing scenario of demographics and infrastructure to accommodate more aspects of ground reality.

E-governance is a paradigm shift over the traditional approaches in Public Administration which means rendering of government services and information to the public by using electronic means. In the past decades, service quality and responsiveness of the government towards the citizens were least important but with the approach of E-Government the government activities are now well dealt. This paper withdraws experiences from various studies from different countries and projects facing similar challenges which need to be consigned for the successful implementation of e-governance projects. Developing countries like India face poverty and illiteracy as a major obstacle in any form of development which makes it difficult for its government to provide e-services to its people conveniently and fast. It also suggests few suggestions to cope up with the challenges faced while implementing e-projects in India.
