Memorias de un espiritu, encuadrada en un genero de dificil clasificacion que se podria denominar biografia de ultratumba, puesto que da forma literaria a las revelaciones recibidas supuestamente a traves de un medium en sesiones espiritistas. En este caso parecerian proceder nada menos que de Teresa de Jesus, ofreciendose una transgresora version de su reforma, experiencias misticas y reacciones de sus contemporaneos, planteandose que su mensaje habria sido manipulado con el fin de desactivar su caracter subversivo. Tan heterodoxa propuesta alcanzara una exitosa vida editorial y unas notables y llamativas repercusiones, olvi dadas hasta la fecha, y de signo ideologico opuesto, por parte de Jose Blanco Coris y el Padre Eusebio del Nino Jesus. EnglishAbstract: From 1904 to 1905, the spiritualist writer Amalia Domingo publishes a surprising work entitled I forgive you! Memories of a spirit, within a genre that is hard to classify and which could belong to the Memories Beyond the Grave one, since they literally shape what are suposed to be revelations given though conducted channeling sessions. In this case, the presumed spiritual entity was Teresa of Avila, offering a transgressive version of her reformism, mystic experiences and reactions to her contemporaries, as her message had been manipulated in order to deactive its subversive nature. This heterodox proposal would accomplish a highly-successful printing and a remarkable repercussion that have been forgotten so far, and that is ideologically oposed, by Jose Blanco Coris and Padre Eusebio del Nino Jesus.

DANIEL RIQUELME, O LAS GRIETAS ESCONDIDAS DE LA BRILLANTE HISTORIA NACIONAL 丹尼尔·里克尔梅,或辉煌国家历史的隐藏裂缝

espanolResumen: Este articulo examina la prosa de divulgacion historica desarrollada por el escritor chileno Daniel Riquelme entre 1893 y 1911 en distintos medios periodisticos. Proponemos que el relato nacional delineado por este recuento historico se aleja significativamente de la version dominante de la Historia de Chile, asumiendo formas, actitudes y valores que la tensionan al punto de revertir su sentido. Para evaluar dicha hipotesis, nos interesa destacar la distancia que el relato de Riquelme logra establecer respecto de sus referentes literario-culturales -la historiografia y la novela nacionales- a partir del examen de sus procedimientos retoricos y de los efectos/afectos de lectura que caracterizan a esta prosa, sugiriendo una explicacion que permita relacionar estas particularidades con el cambio en la percepcion social del tiempo, desde un momento fundacional a uno de integracion, y con el impacto social y cultural que la Guerra Civil de 1891 tuvo en este contexto. EnglishAbstract: This article examines the historical prose published by the Chilean writer Daniel Riquelme between 1893 and 1911 in different media. We propose that the national narrative delineated by this historical account departs significantly from the dominant version of Chilean History, assuming forms, attitudes and values that eventually stress and reverse its meaning. In order to evaluate the validity of this hypothesis, we study the distance that Riquelme's account establishes with respect to its literary-cultural references -national historiography and novel- examining its rhetorical procedures and the effects / affections of Reading that characterize this prose. Finally, we suggest an explanation to relate these textual particularities with the change in the social perception of the time, from a foundational moment to one of integration, and with the social and cultural impact that the Civil War of 1891 had in this context.

NARRAR EL MIEDO: REPRESENTACIÓN DE LA CIUDAD DE QUITO EN TRES NOVELAS ECUATORIANAS DE LOS ÚLTIMOS AÑOS 叙述恐惧:近年来厄瓜多尔三部小说中对基多市的描绘

espanolResumen: En el presente ensayo se plantea analizar como se construye el miedo en la urbe quitena representada en las obras Eden y Eva (2013) de Huilo Ruales; Los anos perdidos (2013) de Juan Pablo Castro; y Ecuatox® (2013) de Santiago Paez, bajo el supuesto de que "no es la amenaza la que crea el miedo, sino el miedo el que crea la amenaza" (Lotman). En otras palabras, reflexionar sobre la relacion secre ta que vincula la construccion del miedo en la urbe quitena contemporanea, con el establecimiento de una maquina de relatos que articula dispositivos que generan la amenaza, y como esta controla los cuerpos individuales y colectivos. Pero tambien debemos analizar, como los autores en sus obras tensan esta "realidad", mediante la creacion/ficcion de espacios, historias y personajes (locos, payasos, marginales, poe tas y prostitutas) que habitan una urbe que se resiste a la vision monologica del poder. La risa, la ironia, la memoria, la ciencia ficcion son dispositivos que actuan como cata lizadores del contra-poder. Practicas de resistencia que buscan la "ciudad que falta"; una dialogica, heterogenea, multiple y libre. EnglishAbstract: In the present essay it is proposed to analyze how fear is built in the Quito city represented in the works Eden y Eva (2013) de Huilo Ruales; Los anos perdidos (2013) de Juan Pablo Castro; y Ecuatox® (2013) de Santiago Paez, under the as sumption that "it's not the threat that creates fear, but fear which creates the threat" (Lotman). In other words, to analyze the secret relationship that links the construc tion of fear in the contemporary city of Quito, through the establishment of a story machine that articulates fear-generating devices, and how it controls individual and collective bodies. However, we also have to analyze the way authors stretch this "re ality" in their works, through the creation/fiction of spaces, stories, and characters (lunatics, clowns, marginalized people, poets, prostitutes,...) who live in a city that resist the monological vision of power. Laughter, irony, memory, and science fiction are devices that work as counter-power's agents of change. These practices of resis tance search for the "missing city," a dialogic, heterogeneous, multiple, and free one.

espanolResumen: Este articulo se centra en algunos poemas del chileno German Carrasco con el objetivo de explorar las implicancias del despliegue de la visualidad filmica en su poesia, tanto a nivel de la respuesta estetica en una lectura concebida como experiencia corporea y multisensorial, como a nivel de la apreciacion del lazo entre el lenguaje y la realidad sensorial. EnglishAbstract: This essay analyses some poems by the Chilean author German Carrasco, in order to explore the consequences of the presence of cinematic visuality in his po etry. The study addresses the aesthetic response in a reading conceived as a multisen-sorial and bodily experience, as well as the link between language and perceptual real ity. The analysis is grounded in the recent theory of multisensoriality in movie studies and in classic authors such as Merleau-Ponty and Lyotard, and it helps understand the evolution of the author's poetic in his first epoch, since it spans through his books La insidia del sol sobre las cosas, Calas, Clavados.

EnglishAbstract: The witch was for centuries strongly chased in Europe. Women of all the ages were accused of practicing witchcraft, even for some of their closest. They were tortured, hung and burnt, and those were only some of the punishments that were threatening them. In our comment we will show how the image of the European witch contaminates the characteristics of the Machi, based on a short story by Brunet, emulating to the woman who does pact with the demon, without considering the radical difference. In addition, we will show, with which type of shamanic practices the machi identifies herself, besides indagate in the tensions of genre that through it.

espanolResumen: Este articulo propone que la infancia en la poesia de Quezada forma parte de un proyecto que intenta reescribir la historia hogarena de ninos y ninas a partir de la denuncia y destruccion del falso principio social en el cual se insertan para construir sobre sus ruinas una fabula que es signo de rebeldia, disidencia y libertad. Representandose a si mismo como un nino agredido, huerfano e ilegitimo discursea sobre su infancia, desde la intrahistoria, para plantear alternativas a las normas y costumbres que la Historia oficial dicta, no trata o apenas soslaya. De este modo, su fabula adquiere sentido practico, en cuanto el mensaje moralizante que deja es un acto de justicia para esta infancia doblemente vulnerada, al estar tambien fuera de la ley del lenguaje. EnglishAbstract: This article proposes that the childhood in Quezada's poetry forms a part of a project that tries to rewrite the homeloving history of kids from the report and destruction of the false social principle in which they are inserted to construct on his ruins a fable that is a sign of rebelliousness, dissent and freedom. Being represented to his self as an attacked, orphan and illegitimate child speech about his childhood, from the personal history, to raise alternatives to the procedure and customs that the official History dictates, it does not treat or scarcely has it ignored. Thus, his fable acquires practical sense, in all that the moralizing message that stops is an act of justice for this doubly damaged childhood, on having been also out of the law of the language.
