THE CORRELATION AMONG STUDENTS’ ATTITUDE TOWARD LEARNING, LANGUAGE LEARNING STRATEGIES, AND ENGLISH ACHIEVEMENT OF ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 伊斯兰初中学生学习态度、语言学习策略与英语成绩的相关研究

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship among attitude toward learning, language learning strategies, and English achievement of Islamic junior high school students, as well as the contribution of attitude toward learning and language learning strategies to English achievement. This study used a quantitative approach with the correlation method to answer the research problem. Questionnaires of attitude toward learning and language learning strategies as the instrument of the study, and they were distributed to 125 students of the eighth grade in MTsN 5 Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The students' English achievement was assessed based on their pure English score in the even semester of examinations. Then, correlation research with multiple regression was employed to analyze the data. The result showed that attitude toward learning and language learning strategies together affect students’ English achievement, but the contribution is only 7.9 %. The correlation analysis also showed that there is a low significant correlation between attitude toward learning and English achievement, but there is no significant correlation between language learning strategies and English achievement. These findings indicate that other factors have a greater contribution to English achievement, especially for Islamic junior high school students.

HOW DO NUTRITIONAL STATUS AND EXERCISE AFFECT DYSMENORRHEA IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 营养状况和运动对初中生痛经有何影响

Children in junior high school benefit significantly from participating in various sports, particularly those geared toward female students. Many people achieve a healthy level of physical activity, which is affected by multiple factors, including nutritional status and those connected to dietary factors. Because the body relies on certain foods as sources of energy, the construction of body cells, the production of biocatalysts, and the metabolism of food are all required to follow the body. This study focused on the experiences of female students at SMP Kepulauan Meranti Regency when they were engaged in the process of acquiring sports-related knowledge. Through the use of the correlational research approach, this study aims to establish whether there is a connection between two or more variables. According to the findings, it was determined that the level of physical activity engaged by some of the female students at this institution is still inadequate or not very excellent. This can be seen mainly from their appearance and attitude, particularly in following and doing the learning materials of the health assessor, where it seems that female students are lazy in doing sports activities, get tired quickly, and lack enthusiasm. Some of them have pale faces, indicating that they are unhealthy.

REQUIREMENT ASSESSMENT FOR DIGITAL READING LITERACY MINIMUM COMPETENCY ON ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS 数字阅读能力的要求评估,评估问题的最低能力

Today's teachers must prioritize teaching kids to read more effectively using digital technologies. This research aims to examine the significance of creating reading literacy Minimum Competency Assessment (KKM) questions utilizing digital tools. SMP Negeri 41 Palembang and SMA Negeri 8 Inderalaya in Ogan Ilir Regency participated in the study. Interviews and questionnaires are used for data gathering. Students and faculty from two representative schools (n=370) participated in the study. The qualitative descriptive methodology was used for this study. Questions and answers were reviewed to conclude. In short, the results demonstrated that neither students nor teachers fully grasped MCA. To complete them, MCA questions must be created. They need to create reading comprehension MCA questions using digital tools. Recommendations were made to the Education Office based on the study's findings to increase MCA's visibility in the classroom and provide instructors with training on properly constructing MCA-based questions.

INVESTIGATING A PROJECT BASED LEARNING LEARNING MODULE AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 基于项目的高中学习模式研究

The availability of teaching materials that are easy, appropriate, and interesting for students can influence students' understanding of learning. This study aims to look at the practicality of learning modules constructing scientific work based on Project Based Learning for class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Geringging. This research is a research and development (R&D) development research with a 4-D (Four-D) model. The subjects of this study consisted of an Indonesian teacher and nine students of class XI IIS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Geringging who were randomly selected by the class teacher. Teachers and students as a sample were given an instrument in the form of a practicality test questionnaire. Data were analyzed with a Likert scale with a scale of 0-100 to show the ease, suitability and attractiveness of the module. To get a practicality value that indicates the ease of use of the module, the score obtained for each aspect is divided by the total value then the result is multiplied by 100. Likewise in determining the practicality value on the suitability and attractiveness of the module. The results of data analysis from questionnaires filled in by teachers and students show a very practical category. The practicality of teachers generally obtains an average percentage of 85.71% in the very practical category and students generally obtain an average percentage of 87.30% in the very practical category.

ONLINE LEARNING PATTERNS FOR INDONESIAN LESSONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC 2019冠状病毒病大流行期间印度尼西亚课程的在线学习模式

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the pattern of online Indonesian learning that has been running during the Covid-19 pandemic in universities. The research in online learning focuses on online learning at the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This type of research is survey research with a qualitative approach. The results of the research are that students during online learning Indonesian use various platforms such as zoom, google meet, whatsapp, google classroom, youtube, video, quizziz, and e-learning at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The expectations of students in online learning for Indonesian language courses are (1) not monotonous, only using one platform so that students do not get bored, (2) can convey lecture material clearly, (3) platforms that do not use too many quotas, (4) platforms which can display learning material in 3D for easy learning. Now this epidemic has spread to all countries, including Indonesia. The impact of the pandemic has been felt by the entire community due to changes in life patterns. Changes in the pattern of life in question are not running normally as usual, including educational activities. Online learning is carried out by all levels, from elementary school to university. One of the subjects at the university level is Indonesian. The Indonesian language course is a compulsory subject that must be studied by all study programs at the diploma or undergraduate level.

STUDENT ERRORS IN WRITING THE ENGLISH MATHEMATICAL OPERATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION 高等教育中学生写英语数学运算的错误

English has been well-known as the world's international language. As a means of global communication, it should be actively mastered both orally and in writing. Writing is one of the skills that must be mastered by the students. It is related to the words, phrases, clauses and sentences. Then, if the meaning is unclear, people will misunderstand about the meaning of the sentences. The research investigated student errors in writing the English mathematical operations. The research is focused on the operation of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The research used qualitative approach using test and interview to collect the data. After conducting the research, it shows that there are some types of errors found such as incomplete materials error, technical errors, errors in understanding the previous material, and language misinterpretation. Meanwhile, student errors in the type of data misuse, theorems and definition of misuseand also unverified solutions are not found on the research.

Indonesia's reading literacy score is below the average for 18 years as a participant in pisa assessment from 2000 to 2018. In 2018, the average reading literacy score of Indonesian students showed a significant decrease of 371. The scores obtained by Indonesian students do not meet the average minimum score of international literacy. Test sampling conducted by PISA is also one of the factors that determine the test results. Sampling is done randomly and not thoroughly so that the results do not represent the picture of literacy in a school. SMPN 5 Mandai, Maros Regency is a school that does not become a PISA test sample. Thus, measuring students' reading literacy in SMPN 5 Mandai is important to obtain specific and uniform data. The measurement results can later be used as a foundation to produce appropriate learning methods and design the right reading program for students. The present study aimed to examine: (1) students’ competence in finding text information; (2) students’ competence in understanding the text; (3) students’ competence in evaluating and reflecting on the text. A quantitative research design was used. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data were gathered using the internationally acknowledged OECD-PISA questions. The data collection technique is carried out by providing a test for 60 minutes. Data analysis steps, namely (1) performing a score, (2) converting the score into a value, (3) creating a value matrix, (4) establishing a competency category, and (5) making conclusions. Data analysis was run in SPSS version 25. The findings revealed that: (1) students’ competence in locating text information was sufficient, with a mean score of 63.92; (2) students’ competence in comprehending a text was very poor, with a mean score of 52.55; and (3) students’ competence in evaluating and reflecting on the text was very poor, with a mean score of 45.27.

ANALYSIS OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION LEARNING PROCESS AT SMP NEGERI 2 MERAL DURING THE PANDEMIC OF COVID-19 新冠肺炎大流行期间中学体育教学学习过程分析

The problem of this research was carried out the  Covid-19 pandemic which made the learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Meral no longer apply face-to-face learning and conduct learning from home or online learning, made the practice of  physical education is not effective and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Meral, Karimun Regency during the pandemic Covid-19. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) During the pandemic Covid-19, schools made the decision that the learning process was carried out at home (online learning) because to break the chain  of Covid-19 and to implementation this  teachers were provided with training to make teachers easier doing  online learning in  physical education. 2) The physical education learning process during the pandemic using the application WhatsApp both  the theoretical and practical assignments according to teacher directions. 3) The assessment process is carried out directly and the teacher directly provides input related the theoretical and practical assignments, in the assessment process using the application Office 365. 4) In the online learning process there are still some problems like lack of IT  knowledge (Information Technology Science), and  some of  the students do not have android phones, its make the  learning process  not effective and efficient 5) To support the learning process, the school has prepared some facilities like wifi and free quota for teachers and students to make online learning easier. THE RE-EXISTENCE OF MURALS AS A MEDIUM OF CRITICISM IN THE MODERN DIGITAL ERA 壁画作为一种批评媒介在现代数字时代的再现

One viral topic among Indonesian social media users in 2021 is the controversy regarding the removal of a mural in the public sphere by Authorities in many Provinces. This mural phenomenon is inversely proportional to the current condition where information and communication technology has developed rapidly as to why traditional methods of criticism such as murals reappear in today's modern era. In contrast, modern society prefers to use digital tools such as smart gadgets. This article explains the logical correlation of mural re-existence as a critical medium in the digital era. This research was designed as a descriptive qualitative study, and this research data was taken from pictures of viral deleted murals on social media. The analysis reveals that the re-existence of the mural as a critical medium in public spaces is due to the many cases of police reports related to the UU ITE. Besides, murals are more persuasive and direct, as means murals cause certain effects for the observer.

THE DECONSTRUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL VALUES IN THE MANGGARAI ETHNIC GOET IDEP IN FLORES BY YOSEPH NGADUT 约瑟夫·恩加杜特对芒格莱族教育价值观的解构在他的作品中得到了深化

Each ethnic group has a unique and culturally based way of instilling educational values. The inculcation of this value can be through literary works, both in the form of stories and poetry. Poetry in Manggarai ethnic literature, known as go'et. Goet is a way of inheriting the value of education in the Manggarai ethnic group in Flores. Through goet, this ethnic group educates future generations to become useful and critical human beings. This paper raises one of the go'et idep works written by cultural observer Yoseph Ngadut. This research is classified as a qualitative descriptive study with the literature technique as a way of obtaining data. Poststructural is used as an approach in analyzing data. From the results of data analysis, it was obtained four categories of go'et idep texts as a paradigm of planting educational values. These four categories are findings in research. (1) The metaphor of hard objects as a form of planting educational values ​​is closely related to behaviorism learning theory. (2) Soft equipment metaphorized with animals as cognitive learning in cultivating educational values. (3) The third category is the class of constructivism in instilling educational values. The emphasis lies on change towards progress. (4) The category of criticism, Goet Idep sees the urgency of criticism in instilling educational values, so that critical humanism will emerge.
