This study clarified the existence of seasonal variations of Fluoride concentrations in multiple wells with different depths, and determined the appropriate time to assess chronic Fluoride toxicity considering these variations. There was up to 3.6 times more seasonal variation in F concentration at the same point. The mean F ion concentration was the lowest at 0.0766 ± 0.0197 mg/L in March, and highest at 0.2412 ± 0.0345 mg/L in December. The hazard quotients (HQ) were all < 1 at all points, and the risk of chronic Fluoride toxicity in children was low. It is necessary to carry out multiple measurements, including in periods with low rainfall, due to seasonal variations.

The effectiveness of the uses of ultrasonic cavitation for wastewater treatment has been investigated. The influence of the gases of different nature (nitrogen, oxygen, air, mixture of nitrogen and oxygen gases in the ratio of 1:1) on the destruction of organic and biological contaminants has been carried out. It is confirmed that ultrasound cavitation increases the purification effect of gases. It is established that the deepest purification from organic contaminants was achieved by the common action of air with ultrasound, the degree of water purification from organic compounds being 80% and from biological contaminants – by the common action of nitrogen with ultrasound – the degree of water purification from biological compounds being 99,5%. The effective rate constant was calculated.

Plant allelochemicals from essential oils have recently received considerable attention in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and agricultural sectors due to their biodegradability and low toxicity. This study analyzed the composition of essential oils of Pinus caribaea Morelet var. hondurensis needles. Thirty-nine compounds were identified using gas chromatography/mass chromatography and gas chromatography, and the most abundant components were limonene (38.6%), α-pinene (27.6%), borneol (6.7%) and myrcene (3.5%). Aristolene, ledol and guaiol were reported for the first time in P. caribeae needles. Composition of the needles was dominated by monoterpene hydrocarbons (77.2%) followed by oxygenated monoterpenes (12.0%), sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (4.7%) and oxygenated sesquiterpenes (1.7%).

The present work focused on the reduced graphene oxide contains a minimum of six oxygen atoms for the higher dipolar strength. The ionization potential and electron affinity decreased only for the six oxygen atoms based graphene. The six oxygen atoms based graphene have the highest dipole moment. The reduced graphene has 0.25 eV bandgap, which is very suitable for electron transfer. The six oxygen atoms based graphene leads to the least gauge including atomic orbital (GIAO) rotational tensor; however, it has the highest isotropic polarizability difference, diamagnetic susceptibility tensor difference, paramagnetic susceptibility tensor difference, and total susceptibility. The C-C bond length has increased only for the six oxygen atoms based graphene.

Cedrus atlantica Manetti Tar was analyzed by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry, it was subjected to analyzes to know their total polyphenolic and condensed tannins contents, also their Ferric-reducing antioxidant power and Total antioxidant capacity. Chemical characterization identified 88 constituents where Himachalene and α-atlantone isomers (14.51 % - 4.07 %), Calacorene (3.52 %) and ar-Turmerone 3.35 %, were the major components, the total polyphenolic content and condensed tannins contents were 57.15 ± 0.15 milligrams equivalent of gallic acid /g tar and 4.41 ± 0.05 milligrams equivalent of catechin /g tar respectively .This extract showed remarkable Ferric-reducing antioxidant power with effective concentration equal to 50 ± 0.075 mg /mL ± 0,00028 and total antioxidant capacity equal to 262.75 mg equivalents of ascorbic acid /g tar ± 14,43. The experimental results indicated that our tar has promotive antioxidant activity.

Phytochemicals in Rosmarinus officinalis leaves, their total phenolic content, antioxidant potential and antiproliferative activity against human prostate (DU145), colon (CT26) and cervical (HeLa 229) cancer cells were investigated. Extraction was done separately using hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate and methanol. A total of 32 compounds were identified, eight of which were reported for the first time. The highest phenolic content was 476.80 ± 0.69 µg/ml for the methanolic extract which also had the highest antioxidant activity with a minimum inhibitory concentration of 5.39 ± 0.09 mg/ml. Extracts exhibited the highest toxicity against prostate cancer cells and the least against cervical cancer cells.

Expanding the range of herbal drugs is among the priorities of the modern pharmacy. The analysis presented in this article is drawn from a broader qualitative study examining the composition of Anemone nemorosa L. chloroform fraction. The study revealed 38 compounds, and 32 of them were identified. The investigated lipophilic extract has an antimicrobial activity both in terms of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. The maximal antimicrobial action of the investigated extract was shown to Escherichia coli. The significant content of biologically active substances in the lipophilic volatile fraction of Anemone nemorosa indicates the prospects for further study.

Addition of alkaline fluorides to molten phosphates with a composition MI2O-Р2О5-Mn2O3 and MI2O-Р2О5-MIIO (МI – Li, Na, K) gradually changes the solubility of polyvalent metals oxides and shifts the crystallization areas in the corresponding melts. The results obtained are based on solubility curves found for Mn2O3, СоО and NiO in the fluxes of MI2O-Р2О5 -MF and MI2O-Р2О5 -MF (where МI – Li, Na, K) and X-Ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and thermal analysis. The presence of 10 and 20 % mass of fluorides provides molten polyphosphates depolymerization and yields pyro- Li2MnP2O7, K2CoP2O7, Na2CoP2O7and orthophosphates Na2Mn3(P2O7)2, NaMnPO4, NaNiPO4 single crystals growth.

There was researched the process of hydrogen generating from water with help of the ferrosilicon aluminium and ferrosilicon alloys with additives of the alkaline earth metals. There was studied the reaction of the considered alloys interaction under changing the NaOH solution concentration from 10% to 13,3% when the initial temperature range was from 90°С to 130°С. There was determined the necessary content of iron and calcium impurities to increase the gas evolution. The recommendations were formulated as to using the alloys of the silicon and iron with barium impurities for hydrogen generating in the gas generators.

Adsorption of binary mixtures of sodium hexadecyl sulfate and oxyethylated octylphenols surfactants from aqueous solutions at activated carbon AG-3 was studied. It is found that the process of mixed adsorption depends on total surfactants concentration in the mixture, the ratio of components in the mixture and their surface activity. Adsorption data is confirmed by measurements of the zeta potential values of activated carbon particles in the surfactants mixtures.
