Searching in complex networks is different from random and regular networks for existing long range connections and hub nodes. So the research on structure and characters of networks will improve the search speed and lower the load of nodes. Though getting the shortest paths is the best choice, in a real network, it is impossible for a node to get global information. For example, there is not a node that has the whole network information in a peer-to-peer network. The shortest paths are available, but the cost, especially in a dynamical network, will be high. The paper first discusses the main characters of complex network and the existing searching strategies with local information, and then defines and analyzes maximum diffuse nodes. After evaluating the stability of maximum diffuse nodes in dynamical network, the paper designs searching strategy based on maximum diffuse principle. To validate the idea, we numerically simulate the most characteristic complex network model of Barabási and Albert (BA model), and analyze the average path, the network average load and every node’s load in different initial parameter values. The result indicates the new algorithm is effective not only in finding average path but also in load balance.

Science research project selection is an important task for organizations with project management. It is a complicated multi-stage decision-making process, which involves groups of decision makers. Current research on research project selection mainly focuses on mathematical decision models and their applications, but ignores the organizational aspect of the decision-making process. This paper proposes an intelligent decision support system (IDSS) for research project selection. According to the evaluation information being characteristic of uncertain, fuzzy and incomplete information, the D-S theory of evidence was applied to aggregate the evaluation. At same time, the IDSS mines the expert’s information from the applications to acquire the weight of experts to make the selection process more true-life. The demonstration shows the ways this method is feasible. The IDSS with this method can provide useful information for decision-making tasks in the project selection process.

Web Services provided a new way of distributed computing that achieve the interoperability between heterogonous application through platform and language independent interfaces.The creation of value-added services by composition of existing ones is gaining a signicant momentum. Collaborative Filtering (CF) is the most widely used technique for Recommender Systems. However, user similarity alone is not enough for recommendation. We propose that trust is another important issue in recommender systems. Due to data sparsity of the item ratings matrix, we may not find the similar neighbors of the active user and thus CF Recommender Systems often fails in this condition. Taking trust into consideration can alleviate those problems. We consider replacing similarity weight with trust weight by trust propagation over the trust network. And we propose that trust decreases along propagation. A comparison between MoleTrust and our trust metric-DecTrust based on Epinions.com dataset shows that our trust metric can improve the accuracy while keeping coverage.

The subject investigated of this paper is major in the ECT system of 8-electrode oil-water two-phase flow, and the measuring principle is analyzed, the mathematic model of the oil-water two-phase distribution information is established based on double integral infinitesimal principle, an ECT measurement system of 8-electrode oil-water two-phase flow is set up. At the same time we present the method of image reconstruction to accomplish the concentration measurement of oil-water two-phase flow. Mean shift algorithm doesn't use the target’s motion direction and speed information in process of object tracking. When the target’s speed is so fast it easily fails to track the target. So a new object tracking algorithm combining Mean shift algorithm with Motion Vector analysis is proposed in this paper. By statistical analysis of the motion vector get from video encoding process, we can get the motion direction and velocity of target, which can be used to correct the central point of the motion candidate region of Mean shift, making the search position is more close to the actual centre of the target. This method can not only track the fast moving target effectively, but also reduce the number of iterative convergence times to improve the efficiency of operations. The algorithm is already use in our intelligent video surveillance equipment in which the operation of video encoding and object tracking is executed in one chip, and the experimental results show that it is feasible and effective.
