Because of much practicality of marketing education, experience teaching can effectively raise teaching efficiency. Based on the constructivist learning theory, which emphasizes active construction, situated construction and social construction of knowledge, this paper brings out the experience teaching pattern, analyses the difference between the experience teaching and the traditional teaching, and explores the specific ways of its application such as role-playing, case discussion, project assignments, entrepreneurship contest, out-of-school training and so on. Finally, this paper points out some matters which need be concerned.

In this paper, the concept of data mining was summarized, and its significance that contributes to commerce was illustrated as well. Based on the characteristic, an important genetic algorithm which is widely used in data mining technology was proposed, whose principle and status were also expatiated. According to mathematical analysis, the primary components analysis (PCA) is used to analyze the effect of influential factors and characteristics on modern distance education (MDE). Based on PCA model and, the results are computed. Through case study, it can be seen that some factors and characteristics play very important role in influencing MDE and all factors and characteristics should be taken into account because the effect depends on the interaction. Through analysis and discussion, it is concluded that, under the premise of minimizing the information loss of data, the application of PCA in analyzing effect on MDE in rural area is approved to be practicable.

Satellite remote sensing images monitoring before and after the Wenchuan earthquake were becoming of great significance in the field of disaster control and mitigation. This paper compared the landscape metrics derived from remote sensing data before and after Wenchuan earthquake. Firstly, two ASTER imageries acquired before and after earthquake were geo-referenced. Then, the two imageries were segmented and converted into vector files. Finally, six landscape metrics were computed using multi-resolution segmentation vector derived from the two imageries and the computation results before and after earthquake were compared. Comparing results, it concluded that the landscape metrics before and after earthquake are significantly different. After earthquake, the fine surface structure was destroyed due to numerous landslides and rockslides, so Perimeter Area Fractal Dimension and Splitting Index which represents shape complexity decreased. Perimeter Area Fractal Dimension and Splitting Index are more effective indexes to detect the land cover change before and after earthquake.

According to the characteristics of multi-focus images, a new image fusion algorithm based on multi-wavelet transform is proposed in this paper. Firstly, in order to obtain the sub-band multi-wavelet coefficients, two multi-focus images are transformed by multi-wavelet. Then, the regional gradients of high-frequency sub-bands at the largest scale are calculated. Finally, the high-frequency multi-wavelet coefficients and low-frequency multi-wavelet coefficients of the fusion image are determined simultaneously by the principle which is called the direction consistency of regional gradients. This algorithm can avoid the inconsistency that the fusion multi-wavelet coefficients at the same point are extracted from the source image in the horizontal direction, and from the source image in the vertical direction. Experiments illustrated here indicate that the new algorithm not only retains the details and edge characteristics of the source images, but also enhances visibility and clarity of the fusion image.

AutoLEP, an automated learning and examination environment for programming is introduced. It differs from the other existing systems mainly in that it adopts a novel marking mechanism. It combines static analysis with dynamic testing to analyze students’ programs. So it can evaluate not only the testing results but also the constructs of the programs. It can give reasonable marks to programs with syntactical or logical errors. AutoLEP has been used in the C programming course since 2004 at Harbin Institute of Technology. The advantages of using AutoLEP are that the students are assessed on what they have to do in practice, rather than on their theoretical knowledge, and that the marking load on the examiner is drastically reduced.

Broadband acoustic holography based on intensity measurement (BAHIM) is a new technique which is developed for the reconstruction of sources using near-field acoustic holography (NAH). With the sound intensity distribution on a measurement surface, the complex sound pressure phase on the measurement cylinder can be obtained and the complex sound pressure predicted. Appling this method to identify the noise source in underwater cylindrical objects, the principle of the cylindrical interior BAHIM and numerical implementation are presented. In addition, the numerical simulations have been conducted. The influences of the change of parameters are discussed in detail. The merits of the underwater cylindrical interior BAHIM in the reconstruction of sound field, identification and localization of the noise sources are shown clearly in the results.

The technical efficiency for the coal industry of China has been estimated in this paper. A stochastic frontier production function on Frontier Production Function has been used for the purpose. Panel data from the coal industries for the year 2006 have been used for empirical estimations. Making use of the software package Eviews 5.0, the model has been estimated by the least squares method. The overall average technical efficiency is estimated to be 0.51 for the coal industry of China. The empirical results suggest the average efficiency is low. Thus improving the efficiency of coal industry is one of the current important problems.
