With the continuous improvement of information technology and increasing numbers of Web resources, the mode of English reading teaching has changed fundamentally, and the diversity and flexibility of English reading materials achieve a great progress. Because English reading materials were hand-election selection, subjects were lack of varieties and the classification work was heavy, this paper provides a model for automation classification of English reading materials based on web information mining. Through this method, it will provide an effective method for building a highly efficient and practical system of automatic classification of English reading materials.

In order to improve standardization, control level of railway track inspection, and monitor inspectors scientifically and accurately, this paper brings forward a supervisor mode of patrol inspection based radio frequency identification (RFID) and information management technologies. The railway track inspection system is composed of information buttons mounted in milestones or electric poles, portable data acquisition instruments (palm and reader) and terminal system used to manage data, etc. Practical applications of this system help to reduce workload of patrol inspection, increase the ratio of arriving appointed places during patrol inspection, provide credible information for management of railway equipments drawbacks, and thereby, increase the quality of railway track inspection, prevent equipment accidents, and ensure travel safety.

JPEG2000, the state-of-the-art image compression standard, has many advantages, such as high compression efficiency and high image fidelity. However, because of its high computational complexity, real-time hardware implementation of JPEG2000 becomes a big problem when using it in deadline constrained applications. EBC algorithm is the main part of JPEG2000 which comprises more than 50% of the computational complexity. Aiming at the shortcut of the EBC framework which is not suitable for the establishment of DSP software pipeline, a parallel framework for real-time DSP implementation of EBC algorithm is proposed in this paper. The original bit-plane coding module is firstly partitioned into bit-plane scanning module and arithmetic coding module. Then the sign coding is separated from the bit-plane scanning module and implemented ahead. And the multiple loops of the bit-plane scanning module are unrolled with context combining. By these optimizations, the software pipeline of the EBC algorithm can be established which leads to an eight-time faster implementation speed.

Soil salinization is mainly an arid-zone problem leading to land desertification. It reduces soil quality and limits the growing of crops. The paper mainly aims at the actuality that soil salinization deteriorates in oasis and irrigation scheme management is unreasonable from the point of view that develop irrigation decision support system(DSS) about irrigation area management, and studies the optimal distributing of irrigation water in the irrigation area which take the Yutian oasis demonstration area as an example. The irrigation DSS is developed based on irrigation scheme management scenario which solves the muti-object models and geographic information system (GIS) which support spatial management. The irrigation DSS includes information systems that perform data acquisition, management and visualization, and models that performs simulation and optimization of the irrigation scheme. Multiple, competitive targets and constraints with different priorities can be set. The studying of irrigation DSS in irrigation area will provide scientific decision basis and design scheme for reasonably ascertaining the type of irrigation area and scientific management and optimal allotting of agriculture water resources in the arid area.

This paper discusses how to design a team teaching program for language teaching and learning for an undergraduate intensive reading course. The purpose of this study is to investigate how team teaching is applied and how it influences faculty and students. Team teaching plan, methodology, and pilot study were discussed in order to suggest the concrete steps to team teaching in this kind of course and transfer our understandings and success to other courses, such as senior teachers cooperate with junior teachers, foreign teachers cooperate with domestic teachers.

In the research of Agent theory and technology, BDI model is the most studied one with the broadest applications. But it lacks specific mapping relationship research between BDI model and particular Agent architecture. In this paper, we firstly establish abstract mapping between BDI model and Agent autonomy, then stimulate human being autonomy mechanism, establish specific mapping relationship between autonomy Agent BDI architecture and individual autonomy, map Agent autonomy belief to inside blackboard, autonomy desire to controller, autonomy intention to sensor, effector and data operator, and define this autonomy Agent BDI architecture using monadic Pi calculus. Based on our theoretical analysis, this architecture can achieve autonomy because of its closed loop feedback.

In this paper, we proposed a scheme for texture classification and segmentation. The methodology involves an extraction of texture features using bidimensional empirical mode decomposition and fractal dimension, then, is followed by a k-means based classifier which assigns each pixel to the class. In feature extraction, firstly, the intrinsic mode functions which directly from image data by means of bidimensional empirical mode decomposition were obtained. Secondly, we calculate the boxing fractal dimension of each intrinsic mode function as texture features. After feature extraction, K-means clustering is performed to the texture image. The main contribute of our approach is to using fractal dimension of each IMF as texture feature. Preliminary result, this scheme show high recognition accuracy in the classification of brodatz texture images, and it can be also successfully applied to image segmentation.
