In Tanzania, motorcycles taxi has emerged as the key mode of transport for both rural and urban areas. The numbers of motorcycles and motorized tricycles in Tanzania has increased rapidly in recent years, changing the face of accessibility and mobility. Motorcycles provide employment and business opportunities for tens and thousands of people. However, the increase of motorcycles causes the increases in fatal accidents which takes the lives of much younger one and leave many others crippled. The governments of Tanzania and other stakeholders have been intervening for the purpose of reducing fatal accidents thoughinstituted efforts have not been able to solve the problem. Among others consuming excessive alcohols and not wearing helmets have been the major causes of fatal accidents and injuries. This research aim at solving the problem by preventing riders accessing the motorcycle when they are either drunk or have not worn the helmet, the research develops a prototype which automatically prevents the motorcycle from starting when any of the two requirements are not met. A sample of eighty(80) respondents was visited using a structured questionnaire using simple random sampling technique, to present findings data were analyzed used an IBM SPSS software.

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consists of small battery-powered sensor nodes with limited energy resources, with sensing, computation, and communications capabilities. One of the crucial issues in WSN is energy consumption thus, poor energy efficient routing. The lifetime of the entire network depending on the energy efficiency of the sensor network which finally requires an energy- efficient routing protocol. This paper provides energy-efficient routing by using a fuzzy logic approach in the clusterhead selection process that provides a completely non-probabilistic approach in order to balance the energy consumption of nodes and prolong the WSN lifetime. This approach uses three fuzzy variables: Residual energy of the nodes, distance to Base station and distance to the cluster-head. Simulations results show that the proposed algorithm improves energy consumption and significantly prolong the network lifetime in wireless sensor networks when compared with LEACH protocol.

While the need for electrical energy has increased over time, a renewable energy source alone cannot meet this increase yet. In the future, alternative ways of decreasing loyalty to fossil fuels are sought. Hybrid energy is an important step in this regard. Hybrid energy is a good alternative to fossil fuels, due to the high production capacity compared to solar or wind energy alone. In Turkey, investment of solar and wind energy increasing day by day. While solar and wind power getting crucial for Turkey it is important to know how much potential of hybrid energy exists in the country with a map. Purpose of this study is by combining solar and wind potential of Turkey, creating the hybrid energy potential map. In addition, with considering the economic conditions the establishment of a hybrid power plant scenario created. This scenario is aimed to determine whether the hybrid power plant feasible or not. In this regard, solar and wind potential in 81 provinces were determined. By combining wind and solar potential data at the same points, hybrid energy potentials were determined. Then, if a 1MW power plant was established for each province based on the determined hybrid potential data, the cost analysis of the value of the investment was made based on the appropriate economic data. According to the results of the study especially in Hatay in Turkey were found to be quite high wind potential and solar potential at an adequate level. Also, provinces such as Canakkale and Karaman follow Hatay as highyielding regions. After the studies, Turkey has been found to be a suitable place for hybrid energy. The hybrid power plant, which uses clean and renewable energy sources can reduce fossil fuel utilization rate. So hybrid energy can be an alternative way to save both Turkey and the World.

Even though women are working in engineering and scientific fields, the engineering discipline is still seen as a male-dominated sector globally. They have traditionally been underrepresented in the field of engineering. Organizations like the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) and others alike, host events and conferences to provide guidance, training and support for young females hoping to hone their skills and advance their careers in the engineering sector. However, the perception and participation of female students in science related courses which serve as a fundamental basis for engineering has been very low. This paper adopts the strategic-implementation principle of ‘catch them young’. The method involves career counseling, talk shows, seminars on engineering practice, award presentation tooutstanding female students and organizing extra moral classes. Results from this study revealed that even though the perception and participation of young female students in sciences are low, the adopted method stimulates them in terms of performance in engineering related subjects and thus yield to more female participation in the engineering field. Other benefits are; to provide a forum for promoting sorority amongst female engineers and to create a platform by which women engineers can collaborate with other women in other professions in Nigeria and elsewhere; to stimulate women in achieving professional excellence as engineers and leaders and to expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life.

GPS technology at this time is commonly used, Because GPS is already a mandatory feature on a Smartphone because it can help in everyday life, such as for example we want to a place that we have never visited and we do not know the route to there, with the GPS we easily go to a place and do not have to worry about getting lost, at this time the GPS can also be used for various needs one of them help the delivery to know the closest distance to the next destination from the current position.By implementing the Haversine Algorithm, it is created on the Android platform using the Kotlin programming language and utilizes the Google Maps API as a Virtual Maps provider. This app connects to the database on the Server and obtains data such as the current position of the car, the delivery destination through the API created and show in the form of JSON FORMAT, thus the user will know the distance of all delivery destinations from the current position so it is expected to make it easier to determine the destination of the next delivery.

The development of the robot world is very rapid, including the humanoid robot, bioloid, not least the type of mobile robot. Therobot is created to have advantages that are not owned by humans. One of them is unlimited compatibility. This requires that therobot has a variety of sensor components for the creation of intelligent autonomous behavior in robots. This research is titled "design of human followers trolley using object tracking (colour detection) method ". The goal is to facilitate the transfer of goodsfrom one place to another. This tool will detect the color of clothing from humans that will be followed by using the camera (webcam) as the sensor and the camera captured will be processed using C# by utilizing the open source library AForge.NET todetermine the point X and Y at the position of the object to be followed. This data will be processed again to determine some angle of the object that appears on the frame, then this data will be sent on the Arduino as a minimum system to translate data from C# so that both DC motors can run and the robot always follows the object based on the color. In the design of this tool generated a prototype trolley followers of humans with the camera, can already be used with a good camera readings and ultrasonic sensor readings are perfect. The sending of data from C# on Arduino runs smoothly as long as the Arduino monitor series is not used for other purposes

The Dissertation presents differential unit failures on behalf of Toyota vehicles assessed, built upon professionals’ judgment. And this was finished by means of statistics collected by means of approach established on verbal dialogs and survey on failures of differential unit repair. Data obtained were assessed using a statistical approach. With this approach, failure probability for each model of Toyota vehicles namely Corolla, Hilux van, and Hiace buses was assessed. The results collected indicated that Hilux and Corolla vehicles had low catastrophe level on the first time while Hiace motor vehicle had more catastrophe level. Earlier, everymodel of Toyota vehicles observed had their failure rate put together with fixed and steady reliability. As part of this research, 3- sigma quality application presented auxiliary dependability by better-quality Toyota applies oil lubricant method mostly in gears. This revealed Hilux with 94.6% reliability, Corolla 89.6%, and Hiace 73% reliability. The numerical results, from the Bayesian analysis using Matlab program, presented Hilux and Corolla with the highest reliability. This show that more enlightenment adverts among all Toyota Industries will increase the reliability of the differential unit for Hiace buses.
