An Integrated Non-Isolated DC-DC converter with Voltage Multiplier Cell for Microgrid Applications 微电网用电压倍增单元集成非隔离DC-DC变换器

A new modified non isolated dc-dc converter is premeditated for DC microgrid utility. The modified dc-dc converter comprises of voltage multiplier cell (VMC) integrated with dual inductors in the input side of dc-dc converter. The solar and bladeless wind turbine based renewable energy sources are effectively utilized with these modified dc-dc converter. The major issue related with renewable energy sources owing to deliver low output voltage. The lower output voltage issue can be improved with the proposed modified dc-dc high gain non isolated converter. The modified converter makes use of dual inductor (input side of the converter) connected in cascade/parallel sequence with VMC to perform charging/discharging operation. The VMC (output side of the converter) provides voltage lift with better static gain, reduced switching voltage stress and improved dynamic response. The new modified dc-dc non isolated converter is arrived using Matlab/ Simulink 2013a and developed the experimental setup for power rating of 100W. from the analysis both the simulation and experimental model effectively performs with the goals to improve the voltage gain and low voltage stress with reduced duty cycle.

Flash ADC is the device popularly used in high speed data processing wireless communication systems. The submicron area overhead and the power dissipation of the flash ADC are the important metric parameters in such a high speed applications. Comparator is a major block that increase the power dissipation and area overhead of the data converter. This paper presents the two different types of Flash ADC structures with performance comparisons. The two structures of the ADC have been designed using dynamic comparators and TIQ comparators respectively. The design structures are simulated using 180nm CMOS technology for area, power and delay analysis.

Performance Analysis of PID controller for Path Planning of a Quadcopter 四轴飞行器路径规划PID控制器性能分析

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) have become more and more popular in military, commercial and several other applications. Due to its structural simplicity and complexity on controls, quadcopters have become the topic of research in recent years. Focus of this work is to understand the basics of the quadcopter dynamics and to develop an autonomous navigation and trajectory planning for quadcopters. The dynamic model of the quadcopter used for the study is based on Newton-Euler equations. A PID based control on the Quadcopter model available in MATLAB & Simulink is tested and verified by simulating the model for different types of trajectories. The controller parameters are tuned to achieve minimal tracking error without compromising on the controller response time.

Integrated Multi-sensor framework for Intruder Detection in Flat Border Area 基于集成多传感器框架的平边界地区入侵检测

All government have disclosed the need for an efficient surveillance and human intrusion detection system to control the possibility of intrusion on borders, either for unauthorized goods transportation or for terrorism. The peace and harmonious atmosphere of the country is disturbed due to the intrusion of terrorists. Most of the Indian border areas are flat in nature. The casualty prompted by the recent Pulwama and Pathankot attacks against Indian military force through the flat border area reveals the significance of efficient surveillance and human intrusion detection system in those areas for controlling the terrorist activities. Conventional border patrol systems require large human support and unmanned border areas are equipped with high-tech, high-cost surveillance systems, which create high false alarm rates and line of sight constraints. There is a need in developing a multi-sensing system that integrates different technologies to detect human intrusion with improved system accuracy in flat border areas. The proposed multi-sensing system comprises of Infrared sensors for detecting the movement of an intruder across the borderline and Geophone sensors for detecting the presence of human intruder though footstep signals and tracking the direction of the human intruder. The idea behind this paper is to provide minimum human support and to enhance the accuracy by integrating multiple surveillance technologies to monitor the flat border region in real-time and to provide early warning to the central monitoring station once the presence of human intrusion in that region is detected.

Economic study of a Power network for observability analysis using optimal arrangement of PMUs and DULRs 基于pmu和dulr优化配置的电网可观测性分析的经济性研究

For finding the power system state estimation, finding the observability is the important criteria. To observe the system, we have to monitor the entire system for each and every second. For monitoring and control of an entire power system, number of techniques is available. Out of all existing WAMS phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) is one of most important technique for monitoring of system. Placement of PMU’s is the major trouble because they are little expensive. This problem can be overcome by finding minimum no of PMU’s using incomplete observability analysis. PMU placement costs have increased over the past. In that the substation advancing cost is the primary concern because the advancing cost is much higher than the cost of individual device. The optimal PMU placement requires for considering the expenses for advancing the substation along with the cost of individual PMU that needs to be placed at particular substations. This paper presents the overall comparison of past proposed techniques on PMU placement schemes by using different state estimations.

Community-Based Biogas Supply System for Village Jalera at Baran District in Rajasthan 拉贾斯坦邦巴兰地区Jalera村社区沼气供应系统

The population of India is increasing at the decadal growth rate of 17.64% during 2001-2011. There is a rapid growth in energy demand too. However, most of the rural areas of India are still dependent on cookstoves that use wood or cattle dung cakes as fuel directly, because LPG availability is very less in the rural areas. In this paper, a feasibility study of establishing a community-based biogas plant at village Jalera in Baran district of Rajasthan, India is done. Mahaveer Gaushala Kalyan Samiti at Village Jalera, District Baran has about 900 cattle. A community-based biogas plant at this gaushala is designed. The total biogas plant volume is 613 m3 and the total biogas production is 270 m3/day. It is than supplied to the 198 houses. This community-biogas plant has the potential of earning income of Rs. 26, 36,685/year. It will also lead to total fuel savings of Rs. 17, 34,480/year when compared to the direct burning of cattle dung cakes. The annual volume of biogas produced by this plant is equal to 2,920 cylinders of domestic LPG gas amounting to Rs. 18,98,000.

Design & Development Of Robotic Arm For Medical Surgery 医用外科机械臂的设计与研制

Improved precision, dexterity and stability to medical or surgical processes have been achieved through robotic technologies. In this paper the objective is to design a model of robotic arm mechanism, implementation of a LabVIEW-based stepper motor control and the composition of the control system using Arduino as a controller. A graphical simulator is designed to mimic the human arm simultaneously with the mechanical robot arm. This is expected to improve the accuracy and simplicity in control. The joints of the robot arm are linked with number of stepper motors that move independently. And the controlling actions of the arm are managed through the software LabVIEW.

Distribution system Network Reconfiguration for Voltage profile improvement and loss reduction Using BPSO 基于BPSO的配电网络重构改进电压分布和降低损耗

The paper focuses on fimding the best topology of IEEE-69 bus distribution network by interchanging the status of tie and sectionalizing switches without creating any loop in the network, the aim of the research is to improvise the system reliability in terms of voltage profile maximization and overall system loss minimization. Binary Particle swarm optimization (BPSO) is applied to achieve best switching without violating parameters allied to distribution system thereby ensuring the security of the system. The results obtained are satisfactory.

Design and Experimental Analysis of Oscillating Pitch Bi-rotor Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine 摆动桨距双转子水平轴风力机设计与试验分析

Horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT) is the promising source of machine to harness the wind that flows in a single direction. However, the pitch angle should continuously vary to optimize the energy conversion in the machine. It requires complicate servo mechanism to change the pitch angle as per the direction of the wind. In order to fix the above-mentioned issue, an effort is made to come up with the new design of oscillating pitch bi-rotor small wind turbine. In this work, the concept of oscillating pitch angle is tried. In this pitch angle of the HAWT is oscillate and adjust itself with reference to the direction and the wind speed and does not require any feedback mechanism to control the pitch. In the bi-rotor design, the 3 blade rotor is fixed at both ends of the shaft with a phase shift of 60°; between these two rotors and generator is kept in between the two rotors. So maximum possible effective surface area of the blade will increase which in turn develop more torque than a regular turbine. In this work, the effect of the power coefficient of the new oscillating pitch is compared with the variable and fixed pitch HAWT for different wind velocity. The results of the experiments show that the considerable improvement in the power coefficient of Small Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine with an oscillating pitch and bi-rotor configuration. It is witnessed from the results that the maximum coefficient of power of oscillation pitch bi-rotor turbine is 1.15 times more than that of the fixed pitch turbine. Moreover, it doesn't require any pitch control to reduce the speed of the turbine during unexpected high wind velocity.

Analysis of Adaptive MPPT Control Algorithm for Direct Driven Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator 直驱永磁同步发电机自适应MPPT控制算法分析

This paper analyses the modified approach of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control algorithm for direct driven variable speed permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) wind energy conversion systems (WECS). The wind turbine considered as horizontal axis type. The proposed adaptive MPPT control algorithm combines the computational features of, Power Signal Feedback (PSF) control, Tip Speed Ratio (TSR) control and Hill Climb Search (HCS) control. The adaptive MPPT control algorithm is validated with standalone wind energy generator with help of MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The results obtained show the efficacy of the proposed adaptive MPPT control algorithm has effectively maximize the power transfer to the load during sudden change in the wind speed.
