The complexity of a network is an effective tool to analyze its structure. It predicts its performance and its reliability. In this paper, we evaluate the complexity of two complex networks: The Flower network and the Mosaic network. First, we propose two combinatorial approaches: the bipartition and the reduction that facilitate the calculation of the complexity of complex and large networks. Then, we combine these approaches in order to reveal the mechanism of the construction of our networks. We study their topological properties and we enumerate their spanning trees. Our results highlight the potential of our combinatorial approaches, which allow us to assess the complexity for two types of large and complex networks as the Flower network and the Mosaic network.

Nowadays, posts expressing opinions in social networks are beneficial for businesses, sway public sentiments and emotions having higher social and political impact. In fact, opinions mining or sentiment classification is an important issue in social networks. Therefore, machine learning methods and natural language processing are very effective for opinion mining which are widely used in social media network. The main purpose of the paper is to demonstrate the feasibility of machine learning and sentiment analysis for studying Tunisian users' statuses. We aim to extract terms related to sentiment and behavior, especially during the “Tunisian Election”. While existing sentiment analysis methods focus only on the extraction of positive and negative opinions, in our work we aim to extract fuzzy opinions. That is why we propose to follow Fuzzy Support Vector Machine during our classification process. This later is compared with the basic Support Vector Machine referring to assessement measures such us accuracy, precision, recall, and F-measure.

We designed a SIMULINK vehicle blockset that corresponds to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) benchmark. We used the Embedded Matlab tool for implementing this blockset in order to generate a portable C standard code. As a first level of CBSE, modules of the realized blockset are connected directly each to the other. We tested the exchanged messages in order to verify their validity as described by the standard without regarding the targets where the modules will be implemented. We introduced a second level of abstraction where we connect each module to a Simulink DDS blocks to take advantage of the QoS parameters, events generated in response to faults or exceeding of fixed parameters and calls to callback functions. These functionalities are managed by DDS itself without involving the realized modules in the first level of CBSE. Only the modules of the powertrain and chassis domains are connected to FlexRay bus. The other domains (Body and Multimedia) can be connected to the Ethernet network with minimum latency budget.

Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) are economic catalysts whose needs should be at the heart of each country's policymaking priority. Either for Large Enterprises or SMEs, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are one of the most discussed subjects on the Information System (IS) research field. Their successful implementation promises a 360-view of the business activity, a more consistent IS providing quality data that supports enterprises seek for increased productivity and competitiveness. However, very frustrating confusions can be found almost everywhere discussing traditional ERP, Web-based ERP, Internet-enabled ERP, Hosted ERP, SaaS ERP and Cloud ERP in both the academia and professional literature. In this study, while distinguishing between SMEs that use ICT as a support to their primary business process and SMEs whose core business is ICT, the authors try to help draw lines between the three off-premises ERP system deployment models adoption, namely the Hosted ERP, SaaS ERP and Cloud ERP system deployment models. A focus group of three Moroccan SMEs whose core business is ICT, meets to discuss the three off-premises ERP systems deployment models adoption by Moroccan SMEs that use ICT as a support to their primary business process. Nine Experts from the ICT oriented SMEs share their views on motives and barriers to the deployment models adoption for the case of Morocco. The findings are expected to assist SMEs in their off-premises ERP systems adoption. They may also inform other ERP vendors and integrators with respect to end user firms' concerns.

Segmentation is a critical step, preliminary to High-level processing such as classification, detection and object extraction from radar images. It provides an easier way to extract information in automatic target recognition (ATR) fields. However, extracting the shape of the target from this kind of images is very difficult task, so this paper presents a new approach for Radar image segmentation and how to be able to extract target shape from 3D Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) Images by combining mathematical morphology watershed and thresholding methods with top-hat transformation.

To cope the surge traffic demand, several approaches are proposed. The HetNet, based on LTE-A and Wi-Fi networks, is one of the promising architecture widely used by operators as the next generation of their cellular networks. In this paper, we propose a new offload schema from LTE-A to Wi-Fi. It is based on new QoE metric called QoE Score which allows to takes into consideration the business value of the users. The QoE Score is given by a fuzzy logic system and used as key metric for offload decision in our algorithm. Results show that more than 65% can be offloaded from LTE-A to Wi-Fi while ensuring a good end user QoE. In addition, it achieves better results compared to our previous multi constraints algorithm.

Congestion is a major problem for the data-processing Ethernet Networks, because it causes data loss and application failure in consequence. To this end, this kind of network needs to be suitably controlled in order to guarantee good performances. IEEE 802.1Qau standard is in progress to find an efficient congestion control mechanism, which may ensure a properly use of the available resources and avoid problems that cause this issue. In this context, several researches have contributed, however, none of them paid enough attention to resolve all issues. In this paper, we propose a new solution called IQCN as a contribution to IEEE 802.1Qau. This proposition is based on QCN Serial HAI and focuses on dealing with the congestion control encountered weaknesses. The main aim of the proposed mechanism is to provide stability and avoid/reduce data loss rate caused by congestion. To provide these purposes, IQCN used to reduce the signaling overhead cost and to predict the speed of incoming traffic to properly react face to the congestion issues. Our proposed mechanism overcomes and mitigates problems caused by congestion. Obtained simulation results using Omnet++ show that IQCN outperforms the QCN Serial HAI mechanism in terms of stability, fairness, overhead notification messages and data loss.

This paper presents a voltage controlled ring oscillator (VCO) with a simpler temperature compensation circuit to produce a stable 4 GHz oscillation frequency. The proposed temperature compensation circuit is able to achieve a 89.25 % reduction in the variation of the center frequency of the uncompensated VCO and 108 ppm/°C temperature stability. Simulations using TSMC 0.18 µm CMOS technology show a low phase noise of a −74.55 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset from the carrier and a total power consumption of 11.06 mA. Therefore, the proposed oscillator system is suitable for the impulse radio ultra wide band (IR-UWB) wireless communication system.

This paper presents a new configuration of mixed mode biquadratic filter composed by four second generation current conveyor circuits (CCII), two grounded capacitors and five grounded resistors. This filter is characterized by single input and three output terminals for each mode. It can provides all the three standard filter functions, namely low-pass, band-pass and high-pass, without changing the circuit topology. The non-ideal analysis and the sensitivity analysis have been included. Both active and passive sensitivities are not more than unity. TSPICE simulation results, using 0.18µm TSMC CMOS technology with a supply voltage of ± 0.75V, are included to verify the workability of the proposed filter. The given results are agree well with the theoretical.

The design of embedded control systems is rapidly change during the last decade. Guaranteeing the safety of these systems is a very challenging topic. It is possible to identify two main factors that are involved in the control of those systems: Hardware/Software (HW-SW) codesign and dynamic reconfiguration. Furthermore, the use of an embedded operating system associated with a functional module library is required for the establishment of an efficient co-design solution. This paper aims to propose an appropriate co-design methodology for closed loop DC motor control based on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and low cost platform Beaglebone board supported by a Linux operating system. The dynamic reconfiguration of the control system is provided by an embedded web server implemented on Beaglebone.
