The article presents the spatial distribution of business entities in Slovenia from locations in business zones and the areas of community, commerce and business services to work at home. The study uses the comparative method to determine their size, location and building typology. It was concluded that the structure is quite diversified and that most of the entities are located in residential areas. This field of study requires a further comprehensive treatment and regulation.

The paper compares methods and results concerning the two most recent inventories of brownfield sites in Slovenia: while the MOP inventory focuses more on spatial planning issues, the MGRT inventory concentrates more on economic issues. Therefore, the two methodologies used cannot be properly combined and a new methodology for brownfields inventory is only able to adopt certain elements of each.

This text visits and manifests the critical utopianism embedded in the praxis of Peter Cook, within which resides a promising mode of architectural thinking based on reflexive inquiries rather than absolute and closed utopias. It aims to revert questions that link utopia and spatial determinism towards questions that revolve around utopian methodologies that become trainings of architectural imagination.

Radom su tematizirana djela Bartola Felbingera kroz prizmu njemu svojstvenih, i danas aktualnih i pozitivno evaluiranih, koncepcijskih razina projektantskog pristupa. Takvim je postupkom djelovanje arhitekta percipirano u kontekstu profilacije zagrebačkih gradograditeljskih uzusa odnosno inicijacije duktusa hrvatske moderne arhitekture. Usporedno su obuhvaćene Felbingerovu djelu inherentne teme klasicizma i bidermajera u domeni arhitektonske kulture kontinentalne Hrvatske.

Rad donosi pregled razvoja pneumatskih konstrukcija kao specifičnoga konstrukcijskog politipa. Pneumatske konstrukcije započele su razvoj s prvim balonima na topli zrak u 18. st., tijekom Drugoga svjetskog rata koriste se u vojne svrhe, nakon čega slijedi i njihova civilna upotreba. Krajem 20. i početkom 21. st., s ubrzanim razvojem suvremenih projektantskih tehnika i računalnog upravljanja, dolazi do udruživanja robotske komponente s pneumatskom konstrukcijom u nastajanju nove kategorije pneubotskih konstrukcija.

Tijekom 1960-ih i početkom 1970-ih u Hrvatskoj se artikulira kritika modernizacije obale i masovnog turizma. Među kritikama prevladava mišljenje da je nuždan kontekstualno osjetljiv i regionalistički pristup, kako čitavoj urbanizaciji tako i turističkoj gradnji. Projekti Uvale Scott i Haludova ponudile su dvije različita interpretacije urbaniteta turističkih kompleksa; prvi kroz koncept simulacije tradicijskih ambijenata, a drugi kroz simulakrum elemenata povijesnog grada.

The research was focused on determining the types of landscape areas within the fortifications of medieval-Renaissance towns based on the use and the criteria for their valorisation and enhancement. Twenty-six Mediterranean and west European towns were analysed. Nine types of landscape areas and seven valorisation criteria have been determined. Three current approaches to the use of landscape areas within the town walls have been recognised.

With the proclamation of the Republic in 1923, Turkey began to experience modernization. Sivas as an Anatolian city has its own regional modernization practice in parallel with the nation-state modernization. Between the period of 1930-1950, Sivas was developed by factories and after the 1950s, public buildings with campuses were added to the modern city. As a consequence, city morphology expanded to the south and west and the traditional-modern dilemma became evident in the urban area.

Sagledavajući prostorni razvoj zone, počevši od izrade prvoga investicijskog programa 1958. pa do početka ratnih zbivanja 1991., analiziraju se geneza i osnovna urbanistička obilježja smještajnih kapaciteta u cilju očuvanja i zaštite modernističke arhitekture.
