Developers usually copy and paste code during software development that results in similar patches of code spread in different files. Such type of code clones cause difficulty in making changes and result in bugs. In this study, we want to analyze the extent of the use of code cloning in the development of mobile applications and their effect on post-release bugs. This information should help developers and designers to develop and design better applications and software that present their results to the best advantage.

A novel, compact circularly polarized elliptical patch antenna array for 5G applications is presented. The design is printed on соmmеrсiаlly аvаilаblе substrate Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 with 1.575 mm thickness. A single port microstrip feed is used to excite the structure. A ring is added at the center as a power divider and to make a circular arrangement of array elements. The 45° rotated slot is made at the right ellipse. Consequently, the electric field is divided into x and y components which provide circular polarization. The four vias are added in left upper ellipse to increase the gain. A Pin diode is used for switching purpose. The proposed structure can operate between (30.6-47.6) GHz with a gain of 9.84 dB. The design is simulated in Computer Simulation Technology Microwave Studio (CST MWS).

Among the different causes of human death, heart disease is one of the most common causes of non-communicable and silent death in the world. It is a challenge to early predict heart disease by using clinical data for better treatment. After evolving machine learning, its importance is incessantly being increased in every field of life. From the last couple of years, Machine learning is also the center of attention of researchers in field medical sciences. Researchers use different tools and techniques of machine learning for the early prediction of diseases. Essentially, heart disease prediction with available clinical data is one of the big challenges for researchers. State-of-theart results have been reported using different clinical data using different machine learning algorithms, nevertheless, there is some opportunity for improvement. In this paper, we propose to use a novel method that comprises machine learning algorithms for the early prediction of heart disease. Essentially, the aims of the paper are to find those features by correlation which can help robust prediction results. For this purpose UCI vascular heart disease dataset is used and compares our result with recently published article. Our proposed model achieved accuracy of 86.94% which outperforms compare with Hoeffding tree method reported accuracy of 85.43%

For the Smart Grid (SG) reliability and security, a proficient LFC scheme is highly imperative. However, due to large oscillations, the LFC obligation is not fully viable. Thus, to overcome this inadequacy, an EVs system is employed in the SG that regulates both the frequency and tie-line power variations. The dispersed nature of the EV system facilitates the LFC in compensating the volume insufficiency. In this paper, a comprehensive analysis has been conducted that appraises the impact of load disturbance on the EVs based SG system. Four different control areas are taken for observation and changes in load are anticipated at various sampling times. Matlab-based simulations are carried out that compared the consequences of the load disturbance when the system adapted the PID, Ce-MPC and De-PMC controllers. Simulation outcomes also considered the influences of each control area on its neighbouring area that is coupled through a tie-line. From the results, it is concluded that the De-MPC has edged over other controllers in term of parameter control and improves the stability of the EVs based SG.

The recent energy crises in Pakistan lead domestic user to buy their own set of generators. Domestic generators help consumers to tackle both scheduled and unplanned power outages. Energy crises open market for 1KVA-6KVA generator. The digital generators have ability to run at variable speed that makes them more efficient and hence produce less noise. But still conventional generators are foremost choice of buyers in Pakistan. Consumer’s buying etiquettes have been conditioning by advertisements. Advertisements are functional for putting up apprehension, educating customers about new technology e.g; digital generators and perceiving customers of trade stores. One of the greatest operations of advertisements is to make customers alert of retail stores where both the elements upshot consumer’s buying behavior. This framework is a result of 120 consumers from Faisalabad who use digital generators. Regression analysis was drawn in to identify the relation between the variables, i.e. advertisement, consumer knowledge, consumer perception and consumer buying behavior. Conclusions provide an advanced method for the managers that help them out in designing a relevant strategy for marketing retail stores. The studies show that consumers do not generate strong perceptions, but it considers advertisements as a strong tool for enhancing awareness among them. This research is going to assist the higher management of heavy electrical industries in initiating steps where customers get attracted toward their manufactured products.

Aerial Bundled Cables (ABC) are increasingly overtaking the traditional based overhead low voltage power transmission system. These cables are not only safer as compared to the bare wires but are also very useful in reducing the electricity pilferage. However, the maintenance agencies need to know the viability of the ABC in all-weather conditions and require proper solutions for degradation assessment of such electrical infrastructure. This paper studies the thermography data of live ABC in varying temperature conditions to analyze a changing trend of healthy cable to unhealthy one. Further this paper discusses the application of Kalman filter on acquired trend to predict remaining useful life of ABC. The suggested method will help to maintain and plan replacement of cables prior power failure.

Increased energy demand puts burden on power system operations and fossils fuel depletion. Renewable Distributed Generation (DG) integration in the existing network is an effective way to fulfill the increasing load demand. Optimal allocation of DG critically depends on uncertainty in power generation and time varying voltage dependent (TVVD) load models. This paper presents optimal allocation of wind DG in the distribution system considering probabilistic generation and TVVD load models. Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA) is implemented for minimization of Multi-objective function comprised of voltage deviation, real and reactive losses and voltage stability indices. The effectiveness of proposed approach is tested on IEEE 69-bus and 33-bus systems. Results show that TVVD load models and time varying generation plays an imperative part in DG planning. Further, results also demonstrate the advantage of SSA in terms of better convergence characteristics and less computation time.

Software quality evaluation is the process to investigate any software quality in context of reliable software development where it can enhance the productivity of the system. It gives direction for valuable research in requirement, reliable software development, architecture design and model driven engineering. Variety of challenges is linked with software product in the in the quality evaluation stages. So many efforts have been taken for software quality improvements. The aim of this research project is to develop a model of software outsourcing quality evaluation management model (SOQEMM) from vendors’ perspective. This model will support the vendor organization to evaluate any software at its various stages like pre, mid and post development. This model will gauge the status of vendor organization for the quality evaluation of any software in context of software reliability, maintenance and extension of requirement change. We have plane to identify the various factors that have positive impact on software quality evaluation management and to identify all those challenges that have negative impact on software equality evaluation management. Systematic literature review(SLR) will be used for the identification of critical success factors(CSFs), critical barriers (CBs) and significant practices of software quality evaluation. A questionnaire survey will be performed for the verification of findings of SLR. At last a case study will be performed for evaluation of our findings in real world environment.

The ongoing growth in information and technology sector has increased storage requirement in cloud data centers with unprecedented pace. Global storage reached 2.8 trillion GB as per EMC Digital Universe study 2012 [1] and will reach 5247GB per user by 2020. Data redundancy is one of the root factors in storage scarcity because clients upload data without knowing the content available on the server. Ponemon Institute detected 18% redundant data in "National Survey on Data Centers Outages" [15]. To resolve this issue, the concept of data deduplication is used, where each file has a unique hash identifier that changes with the content of the file. If a client tries to save duplicate of an existing file, he/she receives a pointer for retrieving the existing file. In this way, data deduplication helps in storage reduction and identifying redundant copies of the same files stored at data centers. Therefore, many popular cloud storage vendors like Amazon, Google Dropbox, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Spider Oak, Waula and Mozy adopted data deduplication. In this study, we have made a comparison of commonly used File-level deduplication with our proposed Block-level deduplication for cloud data centers. We implemented the two deduplication approaches on a local dataset and demonstrated that the proposed Block-level deduplication approach shows 5% better results as compared to the File-level deduplication approach. Furthermore, we expect that the performance will further be improved by considering a large dataset with more users working in similar domain.

the amount of available energy resources is very limited. Besides, the rapid consumption of fossil fuels in transportation causes a rapid rise in air pollution surface temperature. Conventional fuel based combustion engines contain mechanical parts that make noise and require frequent maintenance. Pakistan imports a significant amount of hydrocarbons from neighboring countries. The import comes with huge costs and efforts, and therefore, relying on a fuel-based transportation system is one of the alarming situations. To address similar issues, many developed countries make plans and pass regulations to ban fuel-based vehicles, carried out research to reduce fuel consumption and noise, facilitate investors to promote the sale of eco-friendly vehicles. In this regard article briefly discusses the technical aspects of Electric mobility and associated energy security of Pakistan. Based on comparison various aspects of electric vehicles with conventional combustion engines, Fuel based vehicles are considered as promising technology for upcoming transport applications.
