The COVID-19 pandemic is expected to have a significant impact on most sharing economy activities, and at present, it is particularly challenging to achieve a consensual model to predict sharing economy behaviour. Based on empirical and theoretical premises established before the pandemic, we intend to explore the association between a set of psychosocial variables (i.e., cooperation, environmental awareness, past behaviour) and sharing economy behaviour, particularly the use of shared assets (i.e., cars and accommodation) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the present study analyses the mediating role of transformation expectations, as the decision to engage or not in sharing behaviour may be influenced by beliefs about the consequences of those actions from the user’s perspective. This study comprised a total of 596 participants. Data was collected through a self-administered questionnaire and was statistically analysed and interpreted using PLS 3.0. Structural Equation Modelling statistical software. Contrary to our predictions, the results show that cooperation negatively influenced the willingness to participate in sharing activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, that environmental awareness was not a significant predictor, and that past sharing behaviour has the strongest influence on the willingness to share during pandemic times. Finally, the mediating effect of transformation expectations was significant in both associations, i.e., pro-environmental consciousness and past sharing experiences, and the willingness to adopt sharing behaviour during COVID-19.

One of the main limitations of entrepreneurship is access to finance, especially in the early stages. Over the years, new sources of finance have evolved to respond to this need and provide new options for entrepreneurs. Using a bibliometric analysis, this paper examines the evolution of the academic literature and analyses the relationship between entrepreneurship and alternative financing over three periods of time (1975-1999, 2000-2010, and 2011-2020). This work aims to provide a clearer view of the evolution of this relationship and identifies current trends and future lines of research. The data were obtained from the Web of Science (WOS) database and systematized using SciMAT software. Results show that venture capital and business angels have become the main financing sources for entrepreneurs, being the most studied from different approaches, especially since 2000. Incubators in universities and research centers, corporate governance, and development of this type of financing in emerging countries are emerging as potential areas for further research in this field.

Many changes have come over the business with the onset of globalization and the digitization of the economy, including the last two years. In addition, relevant changes have been caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating the relevance of innovation management (IM) within organizations as a process to face these new realities. This article aims to present the main contributions on innovation management in small- and medium-sized enterprises (IM in SMEs). To determine the state-of-the-art innovation techniques, the study systematically reviews articles related to this subject using a bibliometric study approach between 1985 and 2019 using the Web of Science (WoS) database. The study analyzes and presents the most cited articles, the main authors, institutions, countries, and the most productive journals. Additionally, VOSviewer was used to provide a more in-depth analysis of the data obtained from the search. Among the main results, it is clear that the most productive universities and the most influential and productive authors are in the United States, leaving a relevant possibility of taking this analysis to different countries, mainly developing countries, to adjust adequate innovation processes according to the specific realities of each country.

This work aims to present an overview of the factors, attributes or behaviour of entrepreneurial leadership research with a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. 1,594 articles, dated from 2000 to December 2020, were taken from the main Web of Science database collection and analysed with a bibliometric study using performance analysis and scientific mapping methods. To evaluate the importance, quality and impact of publications, indicators like productivity, citations or h-index were used to obtain an analysis of trends and advances on the most relevant publications, authors, journals and countries. Research was complemented by scientific mapping obtained through co-citations, bibliographic couplings, co-occurrences and co-authorships. The results show that the trend of publications has considerably increased since 2015, and the highest productivity was recorded in 2020. The USA and England are two of the most influential publishing countries, although the network analysis reveals cooperation with different countries. The most productive journal is Sustainability and the most influential is the Journal of Business Venturing. This systematic mapping of the field helps to illustrate the research evolution over time, identifies areas of current interest for use in theoretical and empirical frameworks, and provides a solid roadmap for future research. The keyword analysis reveals that the term “entrepreneurial leadership” started to be used in its own right from around 2018 on average.

Operations strategy is a mature field and requires novel insights for further research and practitioners in companies. To fill this gap, 280 articles were analyzed, by way of a systematic literature review, considering two approaches: topic perspectives (content, process, and competitive priorities), and research paradigms (analysis perspective, general methodology, research design, research typology, and alternative paradigms). Eight challenges were identified and discussed to make novel contributions to cutting-edge knowledge. Among other things, it was found that people’s perceptions of object reality prevail as the dominant paradigm, regarding the source and type of information used. In this sense, the literature suggests additional investigation through the direct observation of object reality and experimental studies, in which the action research approach could play an important role as an alternative paradigm. Additionally, considering Industry 4.0 advances, new research opportunities have emerged which permit artificial reconstruction of object reality to support decision-making. The main contribution of this study is to discuss eight challenges by which to improve research relevance and make both academic and practical contributions. Moreover, several useful data for researchers are provided, including statistics regarding response rates in survey research (dominant paradigm). Finally, these findings can be used to perform further research with additional functional strategies in the companies.

The purpose of this article is to identify the most impactful research on customer churn and to map the conceptual and intellectual structure of its field of study. Data were collected from the WoS database, comprising 338 articles published between 1995 and 2020. Several bibliometric techniques were applied, including analysis of co-words, co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and co-authorship networks. R software and the Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny package were used to perform the analyses. The results identify the most active and influential authors, articles, and journals on the topic. More specifically, through co-citations and bibliographic coupling, it was possible to map the oldest articles (retrospective analysis) and the current research front (prospective analysis). The retrospective analysis, based on co-citations, revealed that the foundations of this research field are constructs such as quality of service, satisfaction, loyalty, and changing behaviors. The prospective analysis, performed through bibliographic coupling, revealed that current research is embedded in predictive analysis, clusters, data mining, and algorithms. The results provide robust guidance for further investigation in this field.

This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of articles on the topic of non-financial information (NFI) reporting. The exponential growth over the last decade (90% of the articles were published in the last 10 years) indicates the relevance of the topic, but little is known about the structure and extent of research in this academic field. The purpose of this article is to provide a structured and up-to-date picture of the state of the art on the topic. We analyse the most relevant articles, authors, journals, countries and organizations. The analysis includes 3113 articles, collected from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection from 1970 —when the first two articles on the topic were published— to 2019. The software VOSviewer was used to graphically display the data. We identified and described a total of six research lines in the literature: determinants, essence, reports, integrated reporting, environment, and consequences of reporting. These research lines are analysed and gaps for future research are identified. We also comment on the implications of the strong collaboration networks found within Arab, European and Asian countries. This study is of great interest because it provides researchers with a map of the field, improving their understanding of the interconnection between aspects within the topic. It also enables researchers to better position their studies and to identify new streams of research.

This study shows the main results of a bibliometric analysis of academic research that has applied eye tracking technology in the marketing discipline, drawing from 923 documents extracted from the WoS bibliographic data-base. The aims of the study are to (i) identify the structure of the relationships between past and current research topics, (ii) provide a longitudinal perspective on eye tracking as a research tool for academics, covering the period 1992-2020, and (iii) identify emerging research trends for the future. Among other results, we find that the eye tracking methodology has been applied in marketing research particularly over the last decade due to scholarly interest in studying the visual attention of consumers and users in behavioral studies. More broadly, over the last 30 years, there are five major thematic areas identified: (a) brand-attention-modeling, (b) eye tracking-movements-communication, (c) web-online, (d) HCI-gaze-perception and (e) choice-labeling. The work is the first to identify the structure of the relationships between past and current research topics, and to predict future research trends in the marketing scholarship applying eye tracking as a research tool. Some limitations and potential future research themes are discussed at the end of the paper.

This paper aims to present a bibliometric and systemic analysis of the Bibliographic Portfolio (BP) jointly examining the literature related to topics like “Greenhouse gas,” mainly carbon, and “Management,” as published in databases data such as Web of Science and Scopus in the field of economic and social sciences. The Knowledge and Constructivist Development Process methodology —Proknow-C— was used to establish the final portfolio and through the VosViewer program were mapped the various groups or relationships between the studied literature. The paper presents the theoretical and methodological aspects focusing on the areas and countries of study and highlighting the most relevant authors to have researched this particular topic. We use this constructivist model to describe the measurement variables and synthesize the concepts most used in these studies in order to propose new focal points and thematic approaches that could be developed further in the future.
