Nosocomial infections are a real problem worldwide and are increasing. The consequences are very detrimental to the patient, in addition to the number of days spent in the hospital, and the cost of treatment increases to the point of causing death. Nurses play an important role in the prevention of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) because nurses are a healthcare team that deals directly with patients and infectious materials. Motivation for nurses is increasingly important because managers distribute work to be done well and integrated into the desired goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurse motivation and preventive action (HAIs) in the ICU, and HCU. Method: research that is quantitative analytic using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 24 nurses in the ICU and HCU. Samples were taken using the total sampling technique. Results: the study showed that the motivation of the nurses was mostly in the good category by 19 people (79.2%), the preventive actions (HAIs) were mostly in the good category by 18 people (75%) and there was a significant relationship between the motivation of the nurses and the prevention of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) in the ICU Room, HCU Pandega Hospital in 2022 because the value α > ρ value (0.05 > 0.001) and the chi-square value (χ2) count > chi-square (χ2) table (10.189 > 3.841). Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between nurse motivation and action (HAIs).

Postoperative fracture patients can experience anxiety and pain which impact on the healing process because it affects physiological and psychological conditions. Several studies have revealed that this condition can be treated with Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy because it can eliminate negative emotions. However, the impact on pain and anxiety in postoperative fracture patients who are hospitalized is not yet known. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of SEFT therapy on reducing anxiety and pain in postoperative fracture patients at dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh. The research method used was quasi-experimental through a post test only control group design by means of randomization of the control and experimental groups, providing educational interventions on SEFT management and post tests on 44 respondents who were divided into the intervention group and the control group. The independent t-test technique obtained p-value of 0.032 (<0.05) and the Man Whitney U test obtained p-value of 0.008 (<0.05 so there is a difference between the control group and the control group intervention after being given SEFT therapy. it turns out that the respondent is able to focus attention so as not to experience anxiety which can increase his perception of pain, so that the pain scale decreases. There is a significant effect of SEFT therapy on anxiety and pain in postoperative limb fracture patients. These results are expected to add to the reference to help meet the psychological needs of postoperative fracture patients with pain and anxiety.

Counselling and economic status affect patients’ knowledge of drugs. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of counselling using audio-visual media and economic status on patients’ knowledge of drugs at the Pharmacy Installation of Langsa Hospital. This research was a true experiment with a 2x2 by level design. The population included the outpatients at the Pharmacy Installation at Langsa Hospital. A total of 28 outpatients served as research samples; consisting of the experimental group (n=14) and the control group (n=14). Consecutive sampling was employed as sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the average knowledge between the patients who received counselling using audio-visual media and those using leaflets (p-value = 0.005). There was a significant difference in the mean scores of knowledges about drugs based on the economic status in the experimental group (p-value = 0.008) and in the control group (p-value = 0.005). There was no interaction between counselling using media and economic status on patients’ knowledge about drugs (p-value = 0.504). There was a significant difference in the mean scores of knowledges between patients received counselling using audio-visual media and those using leaflet and with high economic status (p-value = 0.004) and in patients with low economic status (p-value = 0,011). This study concludes that giving counselling to patients using audio visual media increased patient knowledge on both patients with high economic and low economic status. It is suggested that the management of Langsa Hospital regularly organizes health promotion through counselling using audio-visual media in the waiting room or the pharmacy installation to increase patients’ knowledge of drugs.
