In a field of knowledge such as architecture - usually reluctant to anything that sounds like uncertainty or indeterminacy -, this floating pavilion without a defined shape reminds us that surrendering to circumstances can also be an architecture project.

By becoming key to cities’ functioning, essential workers allowed the rest of us to endure quarantine. In terms of commodity distribution, the assemblage between digital applications and human couriers made quarantine possible on a global scale. This model, argues this text, allows us to imagine new forms of work and relationships between people, which go beyond urbanism thought only based on consumers.

This article reflects on loneliness in women and points out the relationship between cultural assignments, the social role of women and the effect this has in relation to how loneliness is faced. The "gender" will be used as an analytical category and the sex-gender theory for the epistemological value that it contributes to the analysis, and old age as a stage of strength. Studies on loneliness and sex expose the need to continue investigating, therefore, it is invited to explore how 'differentiated socialization' and 'gender social mandates' constitute important elements in the experience of women with loneliness. This same may constitute, after new links to the attributions imposed on gender and old age, a line of research that generates responses.

Women who are trapped by gender violence have a difficult journey to become aware of their situation and to face up to it until they are able to break with it. It is a complex process full of suffering and heterogeneity in which women go through different stages. The existence of two ways to break up from the violent partner has been identified. One of them is based on positive factors that promote the empowerment of women. The other one is based on negative factors that lead to their exhaustion and destruction. In the process for the breakup and moving on from it the measures that permit the woman's economic and personal independence are decisive. This discovery reveals the inefficiency of many public measures that try to help women affected by gender violence, so radical changes are necessary. Social work plays a crucial role in accompanying women in their process of coping with, breaking up away from and overcoming gender violence, especially for those women who are more vulnerable.
