Geodetic surveying as part of archaeological research in Sudan 大地测量是苏丹考古研究的一部分

Surveying is an important part of any archaeological research. In this paper we focus on the archaeological research in north Sudan (6 th Nile cataract) and the surveying methods applicable under the local conditions. Surveying in the Third World countries is affected by the political situation (limited import of surveying tools), local conditions (lack of fixed points, GNSS correction signal), inaccessible basemaps and fixed point network. This article describes the methods and results obtained during the three archaeological seasons (2011-2014). The classical surveying methods were combined with KAP (Kite Aerial Photography) to obtain the desired results in form of archaeological maps, detailed orthophoto images and other analyses results.

An Investigation into the Possibilities of BIM and GIS Cooperation and Utilization of GIS in the BIM Process BIM与GIS合作的可能性及GIS在BIM过程中的应用探讨

In the coming years we will most probably watch a significant increase of the BIM (building information model) utilization in the AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) sector even in the Czech Republic. Therefore, it would be reasonable to consider possible utilization of the well-established geographic information systems within the building information modelling process. This paper is based on the currently existing literature and is focused on the interrelationship between BIM and GIS. The main goal is to reveal potential fields of cooperation and to find possible utilization of GIS in BIM. To provide a theoretical framework, this article briefly introduces and defines the term of BIM and deals with the most important semantic models in AEC and 3D GIS IFC and CityGML. The paper also contains examples of specific efforts recently dealing with the BIM and GIS collaboration.

Temperature effects on the bridge structure during the all-day monitoring 全天监测时温度对桥梁结构的影响

In current time the large amount of pre-stressed bridge structures is used. Their horizontal and vertical displacements are well predicted, but for verification of theoretical results is necessary to measure real displacements of these structures depending on external conditions. Given by the complexity of the design and by the inhomogeneity of external influences (especially temperature of the atmosphere, insolation, wind speed, etc.) cannot yet be reliably determined the changes of the construction caused by the immediate state of the environment and to distinguish them from irreversible (permanent) deformation of the structure. In this paper the deflection line of the bridge of general Chabera over river Labe during the all-day monitoring will be analyzed. There is dense coverage of stabilized points enabling accurate approximation of the displacement of the bridge structure. The paper is focused especially on temperature effects on the bridge structure. The temperature changes cause the deformation of the construction not immediately, but with the time shift between change of temperature and structure deformation. Although the points are stabilized on both sides of the bridge deck, for the analysis of results were used only the points on the left side of the main span, where the biggest vertical displacements was detected. For testing of dependence of the time shift between the structure deformations and the structure temperature the Pearson coefficient of correlation was used.

New publishing standards in Geoinformatics FCE CTU 地理信息学FCE CTU新出版标准

The first significant change was transferring the journal onto the Open Journal Systems (OJS) publishing platform. This journal management system is based on open source software designed for managing and publishing electronic journals. It offers automation of repetitive editorial activities and provides a user friendly website. OJS was developed and is further supported and freely provided within the Public Knowledge Project under the GNU General Public License.

Full texts in the Czech geographical bibliography database 捷克地理参考书目数据库全文

Open access to the documents is one of the basic requirements of databases users. Czech Geographical Bibliography On-line provides access to 185,000 bibliographical records of Bohemical geographic and cartographic documents and to more than 30,000 full texts and objects. The access is provided through a connection from the permanent storage, the Digital University Repository or a URL address of the bibliographical record. The works in public domain can directly become accessible or it is necessary to conclude licence agreement with authors, their heirs or with the editors of periodicals. Full texts of 14 titles of professional periodicals, university thesis, employees´ monographs or anthologies and on-line publications are available. Digitised maps have been connected to the database since 2012. 5,500 of them are accessible from the database since the beginning of 2014. The database is an important source both for professionals and general public interested in geography and cartography.

Measuring Repeatability of the Focus-variable Lenses 可变焦距透镜重复性的测量

In the field of photogrammetry, the optical system, usually represented by the glass lens, is used for metric purposes. Therefore, the aberration characteristics of such a lens, inducing deviations from projective imaging, has to be well known. However, the most important property of the metric lens is the stability of its glass and mechanical elements, ensuring long-term reliability of the measured parameters. In case of a focus-variable lens, the repeatability of the lens setup is important as well. Lenses with a fixed focal length are usually considered as “fixed” though, in fact, most of them contain one or more movable glass elements, providing the focusing function. In cases where the lens is not equipped with fixing screws, the repeatability of the calibration parameters should be known. This paper derives simple mathematical formulas that can be used for measuring the repeatability of the focus-variable lenses, and gives a demonstrative example of such measuring. The given procedure has the advantage that only demanded parameters are estimated, hence, no unwanted correlations with the additional parameters exist. The test arrangement enables us to measure each demanded magnification of the optical system, which is important in close-range photogrammetry.

Monitoring of a concrete roof using terrestrial laser scanning 利用地面激光扫描监测混凝土屋顶

The paper deals with the geodetic monitoring of a parabolic shaped reinforced con-crete roof structure in the chemical company Duslo, Ltd. in Saľa (Slovak Republic).The monitored structure is a part of the roof of a warehouse used for the storage offertilizer. The atmospheric conditions and the operation load caused deformationof the construction. For measurement was used the technology of terrestrial laserscanning. The displacements of the observed parts of the construction were cal-culated using planar surfaces by the procedure of Singular Value Decomposition ofmatrixes. The procedure of initial and 2 epochal measurements of deformations,the procedure of the data processing, and the results of the deformation monitoringare described.

Barcode based localization system in indoor environment 基于条形码的室内环境定位系统

Nowadays, in the era of intelligent buildings, there is a need to create indoornavigation systems, what is steadily a challenge. QR (Quick Response) codesprovide accurate localization also in indoor environment, where other navigationtechniques (e.g. GPS) are not available. The paper deals with the issues of posi-tioning using QR codes, solved at the Department of Surveying, Faculty of CivilEngineering SUT in Bratislava. Operating principle of QR codes, description ofthe application for positioning in indoor environment based on OS Android forsmartphones are described.

System Software Testing of Laser Tracker Leica AT401 徕卡AT401激光跟踪仪系统软件测试

The article introduces a group of instruments called laser trackers and specificallyfocuses on one of them - Leica AT401. At the Research Institute of Geodesy, To-pography and Cartography the instrument has been tested both in laboratory andoutdoor conditions. Several significant errors in the instrument’s system softwarehave been found, mostly due to the creation of user-programmed controlling appli-cation called ATControl. The errors are related to a selection, a computation andan evaluation procedure of the refractive index of air. Finally, notes of the newmeasurement modes of Leica AT40x are given and a range of distance measure-ment is discussed.
