Owing to its high promises for improving learning support, teaching, and learning outcomes in higher education, learning analytics has captured much interest from both academics and practitioners over the last several years. Considering that it is rooted in several disciplines, researchers and practitioners have approached learning analytics from a range of perspectives. Although many studies concerning learning analytics have highlighted its great potential for improving learning practice, there is little evidence of successful transfer of the suggested potential into the practice of higher education happening. This clearly indicates a need for rethinking many aspects of learning analytics usage: first, the goals that can be achieved, but also the actions necessary to attain these goals. The aim of the descriptive research presented in this paper is to provide an updated and realistic view of the state of the art in learning analytics, its potential benefits, and tangible challenges that need to be overcome for a successful application of learning analytics as educational technology.

Background: The paper examines banking service quality perceived by students as a basis for determining implications for green services. The focus was on this market segment bearing in mind its potential effects on banks' long-term profitability and students' acquaintance with environmental issues. The attention was dedicated to the green banking concept taking into account the role which banks have in creating an eco-friendly society. Purpose: The aim of the research refers to identifying banking service quality aspects that are important for students. Later, those can be used as a starting point in determining actions regarding green services in the case of the student population. Study design/methodology/approach: The quality of a bank service was modeled as a hierarchical reflective-formative construct, because of which the SmartPLS software was applied. Five SERVQUAL dimensions (assurance, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and tangibles) were specified as lower-order reflective constructs which form the higher-order formative construct (banking service quality). After testing the model, separately for reflective and formative constructs, path coefficients were presented. Finding/conclusions: The results have shown that responsiveness and assurance represent dimensions that have the largest contribution to banking service quality, i.e. the highest path coefficients to higher-order construct. In accordance with those findings, certain implications concerning green services were given. Limitations/future research: The omission of certain variables that may be related to banking services represents the limitation of this study; hereby, in future researches, some socio-demographic characteristics (such as gender, household income, etc.) could be included in the analysis.

The fourth industrial revolution is in progress, and the center of this revolution is the digital transformation. Companies need to keep up with new business models and advances in digital technologies so that they can agilely adapt to changes in the market. Also, organizations should become aware of the growing importance of knowledge management, as well as the skills needed to make business decisions. Research related to knowledge management is becoming more complex, which indicates the multi-disciplinarity of this area and its close connection with digital technologies and digital transformation. The aim of this paper is to try to explain the importance of knowledge management in organizations and where it fits into the digital business transformation. For the purpose of this paper, a standard methodology of the systematic literature review was used. The paper provides an overview of the current scientific cognition of knowledge management and knowledge management systems and analyzes the relationship between knowledge management and digital transformation.

Background: The article presents an MCDM model based on the MEREC and WISPS methods for pallet truck selection. Purpose: The main purpose of the study was to apply a new MCDM model for pallet truck selection in the textile workshop. Study design/methodology/approach: This article presents a simplified adoption of the Simple Weighted Sum Product (WISP) method, the Simplified WISP (WISP-S) method. The proposed method has fewer computation steps than the regular WISP method. In addition, this study proposes a new hybrid MCDM model in the literature by combining the MEREC method and the WISPS method. Finding/conclusions: The obtained results can be achieved in a shorter time compared to regular WISP. The application of the new method is considered in this study. In order to check whether the WISPS method achieves accurate results, the results of the WISPS method and the results of the ROV and WASPAS methods were compared. As a result of the comparison of the results of the methods, it was observed that the WISPS method achieved accurate results. Limitations/future research: As a direction for future research, other MCDM models can be applied for solving the same problem. When it comes to the limitations of the proposed model, it can be mentioned that the MCDM model is based on the use of crisp numbers.

Background: Modern business operations, which have resulted in a significant growth of major companies, both those operating within their national boundaries and multinational ones, have contributed to an increased exploitation of natural resources, environmental pollution, harmful gas emissions, drinking water scarcity, deforestation and many other negative consequences for the entire environment. This resulted in the emergence of the concept of CSR, first in large multinationals, which had sufficient funds to address this issue, and, in most cases, had contributed to environmental pollution. Purpose: The authors of this paper investigate whether there is a relation between the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and environmental performance in Serbia. Study design/methodology/approach: The research was conducted from November 2019 to August 2021 in large organisations on a sample of 165 companies. The author used Smart PLS software for data processing. Finding/conclusions: The research results show that the application of the concept of CSR influences significantly the environmental performance in large organisations in Serbia. Limitations/future research: The authors only investigated large companies, while the relationship between CSR and environmental performances in SMEs is a potential for future research.

Background: The most significant changes caused by the COVID-19 crisis were the sharp increase in working from home and the growing importance of e-commerce, which affected the development of some industries. This change also affects the investors' investment operations, which are based on analysis to ensure an unquestionable certainty of the invested financial amount and a satisfactory return. It is, therefore, interesting to analyze the possible return of the chosen investment strategy based on the optimization model of portfolio selection based on the CVaR risk measure. Purpose: The paper aims to present the possible use of the analysis of returns of effective portfolios constructed based on the optimization model of portfolio selection based on the CVaR risk measure during the crisis (COVID-19) and the pre-crisis period. Study design/methodology/approach: Paper presents the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on investor decision-making through the CVaR risk measure, which was implemented on the historical data of the components of the Standard and Poor's 500 stock index (S&P 500) in the crisis period as well as in the pre-crisis period. Findings/conclusions: The presented approach based on the CVaR risk rate measure and the relevant portfolio selection model provides the investor with an effective tool for allocating funds to the financial market in particular segments in both monitored periods. Limitations/future research: Time series data are divided into two periods based on visible factors such as the number of COVID-19 cases. In future research, we aim to divide monitored periods based on unobservable factors influencing investors' decisions, such as bull or bear mood on the market.

In this paper, SWOT analysis and fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) have been employed to structure and determine the importance of all identified alternatives for developing strategic management in a local district heating plant in Serbia. Weaknesses are identified as drivers of technological slowdown in the plant. The outcome of the prioritization highlights the importance of solving challenges regarding weaknesses by relying on a variety of opportunities that emerge in the environment. The potential of restoring the equipment of the district heating plant is found to be the most important alternative for strategic development.

There have been a significant number of publications about digital workplace transformation. This is due to technological developments in the last decades as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there is no adequate overall definition of the term. This leads to misunderstandings and confused interpretation of the digital workplace, sometimes even narrowing it down to a set of tools or a platform. Given the complexity of digital workplace transformation, there is a need to have an integrated prospective and analyze it not just from a technological perspective, but from an organizational and processes point of view as well. Therefore, this paper is an attempt to review the concept and offer a comprehensive definition of the digital workplace. This includes all the important aspects of the transformation including tools and platforms as well as personal issues, organization, processes and management. The paper provides a systematic literature review of the publications in leading bibliographic and citation bases, starting from Web of Science and Scopus to SpringerLink, IEEE Xplore and Association for Information Systems eLibrary. The review includes not only journal papers, but also leading proceedings, books and other referent publications. It addresses the authors' approaches, perspectives, terminologies, focusses and understanding of workplace transformation over the last decade by a comprehensive review of the state of art of the literature in the field of digital workplace. Finally, a set of recommendations are made to further research in increasingly important subject of digital workplace transformation.

Based on the upper echelons theory, previous literature has suggested that CEO's personal characteristics influence firms' internationalization. However, most research investigates the static traits such as age, education, overseas background, etc. Since CEO's communication skills exert influence on the firm as well, communication may also be of significance in the process of firm internationalization. We proposed that three CEO rhetoric strategies affect firm internationalization by persuading employees to recognize the international purpose and contribute to it jointly. Using the data of CEO rhetorical strategies and the level of internationalization of 118 Chinese listed firms, we tested the influence of CEO rhetoric strategy on firms' internationalization. The results show that two CEO rhetoric strategies-Ethos and Pathos-affect firm internationalization positively. The findings reveal that proper strategy of CEO communication is important for the execution of firms' internationalization.

Background: The paper examines the "mysterious case of the disappearing toilet paper" during the COVID-19 pandemic. Purpose: This paper describes the strategic impacts on paper and packaging supply chains due to the pandemic. Study design/methodology/approach: Structured interviews and qualitative discussions with organizational and supply chain management leaders. Findings/conclusions: Several "behind the scenes" and less well-documented supply chain impacts in the paper and packaging, and logistics industries were discovered. The critical effects observed are: (1) Impact on the manufacturing side was mitigated mainly by implementing CDC guidelines and by the willingness of industry leaders to go above and beyond to shield their employees from economic hardships. (2) The transportation sector has experienced a more severe workforce shortage, amplified by government actions before and during the pandemic. (3) Product specialization, a pre-pandemic strategy for industry participants, turned into a weakness during the pandemic due to unprecedented shifts in demand across sectors. (4) Traditional "lean" supply chain thinking is increasingly making way for a more interconnected "risk avoidance" strategic model. Limitations/future research: The research is limited to organizations in Midwest U.S.A. and one organization in Europe.
