Kampus Mengajar sebagai salah satu program dari Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dinilai sukses mengurangi kesenjangan pembelajaran (learning loss) yang diakibatkan oleh pandemi COVID-19. Salah satu kendala dalam pelaksanaannya adalah kendala komunikasi. Penelitian ini mengurai lebih lanjut tentang kendala atau hambatan komunikasi yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa dan faktor yang melatarbelakanginya, serta bagaimana mereka mampu mengatasinya sehingga program Kampus Mengajar berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Adapun lokus penelitian dilakukan di SDN Sinaba, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten, dengan metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dan paradigma postpositivistik. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa mahasiswa mampu mengatasi berbagai hambatan sebagaimana dimaksud karena memiliki kompetensi komunikasi. Dalam hal ini, kompetensi komunikasi menjadi faktor keberhasilan dalam pelaksanaan program Kampus Mengajar. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini ditindaklanjuti dengan penelitian lain, terutama di bidang komunikasi, karena penelitian tentang program Kampus Mengajar dalam perspektif ilmu komunikasi terhitung masih sedikit.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah Afikasi diri dan komunikasi non-verbal yang terdapat pada setiap bagian adegan film tersebut yang dielaborasikan dengan teori naratif Tzvetan Todorov’s, Self Efficacy dan Non-verbal Communication. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif dan Analisa pendekatan naratif Tzvetan Todorov’s yang terdapat pada Film The Pursuit of The Happiness. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Afikasi diri mendorong seseorang untuk dapat menjalin relasi yang baik dengan sosial dan berdampak positif pada hasil yang diperolah pada akhir film. Afikasi diri yang tinggi membuat seseorang menjadi mampu untuk berkomunikasi dengan baik, entah dalam relasi personal maupun didalam organisasi. Film memiliki kapabilitas untuk memberikan pesan yang efektif untuk khalayak. Pesan tersebut dapat terdiri dari berbagai variasi yang ditujukan dari komunikator untuk memberikan intisari bagi khalayak yang menerima pesan tersebut, baik pesan moral, pengetahuan, atau persuasif.

Secara global angka unmet need pada program Keluarga Berencana (KB) masih belum tercapai. Keterlibatan laki-laki pada penggunaan alat kontrasepsi juga masih rendah. Selama ini program KB masih ditujukan pada perempuan, hal ini membuat KB menjadi bias gender. Program Kependudukan, KB dan Pembangunan Keluarga tertuang pada indikator SDGs 2030 (United Nations) yaitu untuk menjamin kehidupan yang sehat dan mencapai kesetaraan gender serta memberdayakan kaum perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan state of the art penelitian komunikasi antar pasangan dalam pengambilan keputusan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi dan meningkatkan komunikasi suami isteri dalam pengambilan keputusan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan review sistematis (systematic review). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi antarpasangan dalam pengambilan keputusan penting dalam kesuksesan program KB terbagi menjadi tipe keputusan; relasi gender; sumber informasi; media; dan Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi (KIE). Peran keluarga merupakan tahap awal suami/isteri dapat mendiskusikan kapan akan mempunyai anak, berapa jumlah anak yang akan dimiliki, dan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi yang cocok bagi keduanya.

The product innovations produced by Meal for 60+ focused on healthy food for the elderly. The purpose of Meal for 60+ is as a medium that can help everyone, be it mothers, fathers, teenagers, and children, in serving healthy food for the elderly at home. It is not easy for people to accept an innovative product. Companies must be able to build a Brand Image for their innovative products in the eyes of potential consumers. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out what factors are in the diffusion of innovative products and can be used to create messages on websites and Instagram. The paradigm in this research is positivistic with a quantitative approach and the research method used is a survey. The distribution of the questionnaire focused on respondents in Solo and Tulungagung. The results of this study indicate that Meal for 60+ should be more aggressive in conveying information related to their products. This is because respondents need acceptance from the surrounding community first before accepting innovative products. The keyword "healthy diet menu" is the main reference for respondents in searching for news. “HEREDITY.ID” will be one of the portal websites that can be accessed by the public, accommodates and becomes a source of detailed information on patent products in Indonesia.

The Rebo Wekasan ritual which has become a tradition in various regions of the archipelago aims to seek safety from the arrival of danger and is a form of guarding or rejecting reinforcements and asking to be protected from harm. The purpose of this study was to investigate how Rebo Wekasan as a ritual in building the collective trust of the Karundang community as an effort to grow social resilience in a pandemic. This study uses social construction theory. The approach used is qualitative by interviewing the leader of the neighborhood association, a religious leader, the daughter of a traditional leader, and one citizen. The main results of this research, obtained through thematic analysis, are first, while most people construct the Rebo Wekasan ritual as an effort to reject reinforcements and maintain tradition, some see it as simply an attempt to reduce stress due to the pandemic; second, while these constructions are different, the three of them together can encourage collective resilience in the form of stress reduction; third, related to mechanisms, three ways allow construction to lead to collective resilience, namely through traditional mechanisms, functional mechanisms, and pragmatic mechanisms. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the community's construction of the Rebo Wekasan ritual led to several mechanisms, resulting in community resilience in facing the pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the lives of people, where technology plays an important role in people’s daily lives, including the education sector. This is also reinforced by the rampant digital revolution (4.0) and triggers countries to prepare human resources that can compete in the global scope. This situation requires ICT skills that need to be possessed by every level of society. However, the development of ICT in Indonesia is still uneven and has resulted in a digital divide. Technology has been included in primary needs, and it is reflected in the education sector. This study aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the gap and digital literacy in online learning during pandemic. This study used a qualitative descriptive method where data were collected through literature study. The result of this study indicates that in general Indonesia has a diverse digital divide, ranging from ownership of access, the usage of ICT, to the quality of using ICT. This is inseparable from the differences in the geographical and socio-demographic conditions of the Indonesian. All efforts that have been planned and implemented are increasingly understood to be carried out properly, acceleration of digital literacy is the main key in dealing with the digital divide, especially in terms of education.

Kedua video ini dianggap paling relevan serta mewakili kondisi sosial yang terjadi pada 3 (tiga) generasi. Persetujuan netizen dilihat dari like dan kolom komentar video yang menjadi wadah interaksi para netizen untuk bertukar cerita mengenai pengalaman mereka dalam bersosialisasi dengan tiga generasi. Isu rasisme dan diskriminasi terhadap ras kulit hitam kembali menjadi perbincangan publik Amerika Serikat, dipicu dengan gerakan #BlackLivesMatter pada 2020. Satu tahun setelahnya, Marvel Studios merilis serial pendek The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, yang menampilkan tokoh ras kulit hitam sebagai Captain America. Menariknya, ras kulit hitam merepresentasikan simbol, idealisme, dan harapan Amerika Serikat, sebuah bangsa dengan sejarah diskriminasi terhadap ras kulit hitam. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penggambaran ras kulit hitam dalam tokoh kulit hitam dan cerita mini-series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Untuk menganalisis penggambaran ras kulit hitam, metode semiotika televisi John Fiske digunakan, yang mencakup 3 level, yaitu level realitas, level representasi, dan level ideologi. Dalam serial pendek ini, ras kulit hitam digambarkan memiliki keraguan diri, disebabkan oleh internalized racial inferiority. Ras kulit hitam diperlihatkan menghadapi systemic racism, yang mengakibatkan ketidaksetaraan kesempatan dan perlakuan yang diterima. Dalam bertahan hidup di tengah permasalahan, ras kulit hitam mengandalkan bantuan baik dari keluarga ataupun komunitas informal. Serial pendek ini menampilkan ras kulit hitam memiliki kualitas seorang pemimpin, seperti idealis, menghormati sesamanya, tidak menggunakan paksaan dalam memimpin, dapat mengambil keputusan sukar, serta berjuang bagi kepentingan orang banyak.

In modern era, technological developments affect people's lifestyles, especially in consumption behaviour which switched to be a consumptive one, we can barely see drinking coffee which now becoming a lifestyle. “coffee shop” comes up as a new coffee shop in Surabaya in November 2018. Some innovations in Integrated Marketing Communication activities or known as IMC have been carried out by companies. Ever since the company stood they did IMC activities, covering advertising, public relations, sales promotion, sponsorship, and digital marketing. This research aims to find out the consumer preferences of some of the IMC activities and it’s most effective aspect for the company. This research is a quantitative descriptive study by conducting surveys from 96 people as a sample. The respondents were coffee shop consumers who had bought more than once and were aware of the IMC activities by coffee shop. The survey results were processed by weighting which obtained the coffee shop consumer preference sequence regarding IMC activities that had been carried out. The results of this study indicate consumer preferences in the form of using Instagram as a digital media in first place, sponsorship at the Indie Kopi event in second place, use of the Ladies Day banner as a print advertising medium in third place, Riding activities with the Surabaya motorcycle community in fourth place, and the presence of discounted prices (Ladies Day, Univ Day, Valentine Day) took fifth place.

Social criticism arises when there is no satisfaction with an existing order. In the political context, social criticism is often conveyed when the government system doesn’t run optimally and ideally. Many parties can convey social criticism and many ways how to to convey social criticism. The emergence of social media makes it easier to convey social criticism. Caricatures have long been known as a form of conveying social criticism, both in the form of satire and sarcastic statements. This paper seeks to see how social criticism is conveyed through the form of caricatures. Using Pierce's semiotics method, tracking the combination of icons, indexes, and symbols that appear from the caricatures posted by the @gejayanmemanggil account. The chosen caricature is a caricature that is the result of the creation by @gejayanmemanggil account admin, not a reposted caricature because it is the result of someone else's creation. As a result, criticism emerged targeting President Joko Widodo and his circle including his ministers as being the contradictive, anti-criticism and stifling freedom of expression. Criticism to members of the Council was also conveyed for not immediately ratifying the law that was deemed important as well as criticism of the Omnibus Law. In addition, a post related to Marsinah was raised as a reminder and a moral gesture to urge solve of her case.
