The rapid development of multimedia technology has brought great changes to people's lives and production. Computer viruses also spread widely through the network. In order to solve the above problems, this article intends to use multimedia technology to control computer viruses, and proposes a virus control method based on SICES model. According to the controlled SICES model and the set objective function, the influence of users' online behavior patterns on virus propagation can be explored, and an optimal control problem is proposed. Through theoretical analysis, the existence of optimal control is proved, and the optimal system is obtained. Numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the optimal control strategy. In addition, in order to optimize the objective function to make its value smaller, and to control the proportion of infected nodes at a lower level, users should choose the corresponding online behavior mode according to different network structures. For example, on the WS small world network, the network should be frequently disconnected or always kept online.

The resilience and reliability of healthcare supply chain models were put to the test by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This study investigated the application of supply chain systems in South African healthcare institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. A systematic literature review (SLR) was employed to explore the performance of existing supply chain systems, followed by a case study that tested and compared the acquisition and distribution of COVID-19 resources. The SLR revealed that most of the flare-ups were exacerbated by the acquisition of insufficient resources and speculative shortages as the supply chain systems got overwhelmed by the unprecedented demand. The simulation of the real-world data of South Africa revealed gaps in the distribution of resources, allocation of medical staff to administer COVID-19 vaccines, and shortages of vaccines. The study recommends development of effective contextual (SA) healthcare supply chain systems to support the containment of pandemic flare-ups. The study was conducted in South Africa and only reported data was used.

To enhance the efficiency and security of traceability in the fruit and vegetable industry, this paper proposes an optimized model based on multi-chain blockchain technology. Firstly, an analysis is conducted on the supply chain information of the fruit and vegetable industry, where traceability codes and product information from various stages of the supply chain are organized and extracted. Next, a trusted traceability optimization model is established based on blockchain technology. Finally, an information traceability system for the VFSC is implemented using Hyperledger fabric, and an improved Kafka load balancing algorithm is proposed to enhance message transmission efficiency. Simulation results demonstrate that the multi-chain traceability model proposed outperforms traditional single-chain blockchain models in terms of query efficiency when the number of data records exceeds 1000. After 10000 data records are deployed on the blockchain, the efficiency of the multi-chain model is improved by over 90% compared to the traditional single-chain model.

Hotel supply chain management (SCM) refers to the material service that takes a hotel as the core object. At present, the main method is centralized SCM, which uses integer programming or mixed integer programming to establish and solve the allocation management of various resources among hotels in the supply chain. In this article, based on ant colony algorithm (ACA), the hotel SCM mode is studied and optimized. The research shows that the convergence path is A-S4-M3-L3-D1-R1-T. Therefore, the optimal partner combination meeting the requirements of the supply chain is S4, M3, L3, D1 and R1. The experiment shows that the max-min ACA is effective to solve the problem of partner selection in hotel supply chain. By using enterprise management technology, information technology, network technology and SCM technology under ACA, the effective rules and control of information flow, logistics, capital flow, business flow and value flow in the whole supply chain can be achieved, and the maximum benefit of the whole hotel supply chain can be realized.

In the current era of e-commerce, the pharmaceutical industry has not experienced the same level of growth as regular commodities due to the high costs associated with home delivery and the perceived risks associated with purchasing drugs online. This paper proposes an omni-channel strategy to address these challenges, involving an “order online, home-delivery offline” approach between e-pharmacies and drugstores, with telemedicine serving as a coordination mechanism between e-pharmacies and hospital doctors. The proposed strategy achieves a seamless patient experience during online diagnosis. To analyze its feasibility, the paper employs optimization techniques to compare the profits of supply chain members in both omni-channel and non-omni-channel scenarios. The results demonstrate that the proposed strategy is both practical and efficient, boosting patients' trust in e-commerce and improving the profitability of the pharmaceutical industry.

Supply chain can be simplified into two parts: upstream suppliers and downstream distributors. The authors use option contract to coordinate their relationship. But the instability of pure option contract where supplier and distributor deal only by contract makes it difficult for both sides to reach a consensus. They overcome the defect by combining operation model with wholesale price model, and the mix model can reach Pareto improvement because it will increase supplier and distributor's profit at the same time. The distribution of the increasing profit will be influenced by many internal factors. Among these internal factors, the risk aversion and bargaining power can affect the profit distribution between supplier and distributor to a large extent. This paper establishes the mathematical model and chooses risk aversion and bargaining power to analyze. They found that 1) the higher the risk aversion level of the distributor or supplier is, the more its profit will be, and 2) the one with more initiative in the negotiation will reap more profits from the other side in supply chain.

The extant literature proposes an option-based hedging mechanism for airlines in a parallel alliance to transfer bumped passengers to their alliance partner's flight. This paper extends this literature by conducting strategic analyses and developing a two-stage simulation-based algorithm to identify the best strategy for applying the hedging mechanism. Specifically, the best strategy refers to the best number of options for the allied carriers to transact. The authors show that there exists a robust result of the best number of options, and it is obtained under the objective of maximizing alliance-wide revenue. The result of this paper can provide direct guidance to the management of airlines on the best practice of hedging ex-post overbooking risks and matching supply with demand.

The cold chain maintains and transports fresh food in the correct temperature range for slow biological decay processes and delivers safe, high-quality food to customers. Ensuring that quality and efficiency are not affected by the supply chain of cold chain products is a goal. Therefore, this paper proposes the intelligent time scheduling management model (ITSMM) based on cloud computing and a web-based platform for cold-chain logistics and distribution systems. This paper establishes a time scheduling model to reduce the overall order operation cost, diminish the variance among the expected and actual time of finalizing the service orders, and improve useful logistics service providers' satisfaction. Data, including all cold chain phases (distributors, industry, consumers, and retailers), have been gathered. This paper examines the distribution cost and time refrigerated vehicles, thus instituting a cold chain distribution vehicle path optimization.

Work-life balance helps to maintain an attractive organizational culture and remove work-life conflicts and show the path to employees of how to be more efficient in different work roles. This balanced practice is giving a care and feeling of protection to the employees. It motivates better performance that contributes to employee engagement indices. The main purpose of this study is to report work-life balance pre- and during the COVID-19 pandemic by bibliometric analysis. This study analyzed 4,030 “work-life balance” studies published between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2019, from the pre-pandemic era, and 1,143 studies published during the pandemic (between January 1, 2020-March 24, 2021). The data were extracted from the Scopus database using keywords “work-life balance” and keywords in titles (items) analyzed using VOSviewer software. Co-occurrence connection between keywords in titles and density visualization based on the total link strength clearly shows that COVID-19 significantly impacted work-life balance and related research.
