Shanxi's modern industrial development has gone through a long period of time, and the industrial architectural heritage resources are rich and of high value. However, due to the acceleration of the urban development process, the industrial architectural heritage has not been protected and utilized in a timely and reasonable manner, and the historical information of the urban industrial civilization construction has gradually been forgotten. By sorting out the process of industrial heritage protection and development in China and foreign countries, and analyzing the status and heritage value of Shanxi's modern industrial architectural heritage, this paper proposes multiple model cases for the protection and renewal of the industrial heritage of modern cities in Shanxi under the guidance of the idea of the "symbiosis of the old and the new", and strives to provide ideas for the protection of the industrial heritage of modern cities in Shanxi.

This article analyzes the relationship between the needs of students ordering takeouts and the placement of takeouts in the post-epidemic era. Based on the preliminary survey results and problems presented in the project, the preliminary concept of the project design is proposed, and a series of analysis of the project’s feasibility are made: including the current Chinese and foreign theoretical and practical research results and the relationship between the function and structure of the takeout placement device of each department and each grade and the environment of the takeout placement site. Finally, in combination with the particularity of the college, the environment of the takeout placement point and the takeout placement device are designed to complement local

Based on a pilot survey of Russian and foreign experts researchers and pedagogues of architectural schools – the author examines the social and environmental component of professional education. The study shows, which disciplines of the curriculum have social and environmental contents, which names of the authors, and which concepts of this area become known to the students of architecture. Experts assessed the comparative role of the socio-environmental component of knowledge against the background of others – compositional-artistic, engineering-technical, conceptual-philosophical, and market related. The research has made it possible to conclude on the presence of four tendencies in the development of socio-environmental knowledge in Russian architectural education. They are diversification, conceptualization, humanization and 'environmentization'.

Metamodernism defines the structure of the feeling of the contemporary epoch characterized by an appeal to all past cultures in order to find the sources of the new. The phenomenon of memory has become again relevant and in demand in architecture discipline. The desire for constant innovation in modernism and postmodern irony were replaced by a serious attitude to any surviving fragments and a desire to materialize the layers of different epochs. The article describes three levels of work with memory in architecture: retrospection, reminiscence, and commemoration. Various objects are considered, architectural and planning concepts are analyzed, therefore architecture is able to visualize genealogy, evoke memories, capture momentous events and artifacts. Such analysis allows drawing conclusions and getting an idea of the spirit of our time and the values of society expressed in the latest architecture.

Nakhichevan-on-Don is the city founded on the Lower Don in 1779 for Armenians resettled from Crimea. Plan of this city included construction of seven churches. At the beginning of XIX century six churches were built in an uncharacteristic for the settler’s classical style. The projects of these churches have not yet been discovered, their authors are unknown, and the churches are lost. We can see these churches in the photos. Their architectural appearance shows, that professional master created them. The most interesting was cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator. It located on Central Square. Many researchers attributed authorship to many famous architects without any arguments. Author of this article put forward a hypothesis about authorship of this cathedral. Author did this with use of researching of written sources and comparative analysis of the cathedral and its close circle of churches. This hypothesis is important for understanding the ways and mechanisms of formation of the architectural image of Nakhichevan-on-Don.

Since the reform and opening up, the Jinuo nationality has developed into a rather typical "Jinuo model" — low starting point and high speed [1]. The dwellings of the Jinuo nationality are also undergoing changes, resulting in changes from bamboo huts with thatched roofs to stilt wooden houses with filament tiles, asbestos tiles, color steel tiles, blue tile roofs, and brick-concrete structures. These changes reflect the changes in the production and lifestyle of the Jinuo people, the economic development, and the integration of the regional cultures of the people of all ethnic groups.

The formation of Russian fortresses and settlements in Siberia of the 17th and 18th centuries has been little studied. Based on archival documents, the typology of military objects, residential and household buildings in the first Russian city of Central Siberia – Yeniseisk is revealed. The process of forming the architectural and planning structure of the Yenisei Ostrog is considered. The planning features of urban courtyards – the main structural cells of Siberian settlements-are defined. The architectural aspects of construction of wooden residential and household buildings in the first Russian cities of Siberia are revealed. Graphic reconstruction of urban development objects has been completed.

As a branch of postmodernism architectural thought, deconstructive architecture presents a series of artistic images that are against traditional architecture, bringing a huge impact to the visual art of architecture. To this day, deconstructive architecture is sparkling new vitality in China. As the latest completed deconstructive building in China, Daxing International Airport is also an unprecedented architectural form. It has many groundbreaking achievements, which also heralds the new trend of deconstructivism 40 years later, which is enlightening. This article takes Beijing Daxing International Airport as an example, and through the interpretation of Daxing International Airport, it explores the spatial characteristics of deconstructivism, summarizes the enlightenment, and explores the possibility of deconstructive architecture in the future.
