Vietnam is currently a developing country; human resource is one of the critical factors for economic growth and one of the fundamental indicators of development ability. With dynamic investment attraction policies and a favorable investment environment, Vietnam has continuously become one of the leading countries in attracting foreign investment. The economic integration process, which leads to fiercer competition in the labor market, makes it more difficult for FDI enterprises to maintain and manage human resources. Thus, the article aims to consider and evaluate the key factors affecting job satisfaction and its impact on employee motivation. The paper applied structural equation modeling and data surveying from 700 employees working for FDI enterprises. Based on the study results, six factors affect employees' job satisfaction, and satisfaction also affects loyalty at the statistical significance level of 1%, from which the authors propose governance implications for attracting and retaining employees effectively.

In Vietnam, small and medium enterprises account for 95% of the total enterprises and are considered essential to economic restructuring, industrialization, and modernization. The development of this type of enterprise makes a necessary contribution to gross national income and economic growth and solves many social problems. However, the competitiveness of this business sector is still minimal, mainly due to the low quality of human resources. Thus, the article aims to explore the key factors affecting human resource quality and its impact on business operation performance. The article applied structural equation modeling and data surveying from 900 employees working for SMEs. Finally, seven factors affected the human resource quality and its impact on business operation performance with a level of 1%. The authors proposed managerial implications to enhance human resource quality for many sides: managers, business leaders, local authorities, and the Government.

Identification and characterization of constituent soil types in the form of Fines Content (FC) values are essential in analyzing the potential of soils to be liquefaction. Multiple Linear Regression is one of the fundamental statistical models used to determine the causality between target and predictor geotechnical parameters. The study used multilinear regression approaches and artificial neural networks to get optimal results from FC predictions. The study considers the correlation between the SBT Index and FC and several other parameters such as NSPT, Depth, Totally Overburden Stress, Initially Overburden Stress, and Sleeve Friction. The coefficient of determination resulting from the regression process shows a reasonably strong relationship between the independent and target parameters, as much as 61.4%. In comparison, the Neural Network is 96.928%, which indi-cates a nonlinear influence.

This study aims to establish the legal framework for addressing workplace violence and sexual harassment. It serves as a guide for Jordanian legislators when reviewing related laws, promoting a violence-free environment. The study employs descriptive analysis to explore employee experiences, comparing Jordanian Labor Law with International Labour Organization Convention No. 190 (2019). It divides into two sections: defining violence and harassment from national and international labor perspectives, and examining legal protection under Jordanian Labor Law. The second section delves into employer obligations and employee actions, including court involvement. Findings show that though Jordan addresses the issue, labor law amendments are limited, hindering comprehensive enforcement. The 2023 amendment to Article 29 lacks desired impact and international alignment. Recommendations include explicit policy integration into the Labor Law and enacting legislation, aligned with Article 120 of the Jordanian Constitution, to prevent workplace violence and harassment across sectors.

This research aims to delves the problem of resistance and exclusion research experienced by Shia groups carried out by other religious movements and local governments. Through qualitative interviews some figures from Shia, anti-Shia, and local governments who issued regulations banning Shia. The findings of this research show that resistance and persecution carried out by anti-Shia groups are carried out through attacks to sabotage the Shia groups' religious activities, especially the commemoration of Ashura. Discrimination against Shia groups in South Sulawesi also involved government officials supporting the anti-Shia movement. A circular letter containing an appeal to be wary of Shia groups was issued by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in 2017, Makassar (2019), Gowa (2019), and Parepare (2021). Resistance and exclusion of Shia groups in South Sulawesi have implications for the non-freedom of Shia groups to publicly declare their religious identity. Several Shia adherents eventually chose the path of taqiyah because social conditions were not conducive to the existence of Shia groups.

The strategy of the Semesta War is part of an Indonesian National Defense System. The purpose of this study is to show that the strategy of the Semesta War was not a total war and was not just a guerrilla war, although guerrilla tactics were part of it. It is also different from the People’s War from Mao’s Strategy. So, what is Semesta War looks like? We can understand this strategy from Indonesian History. A Trikora operation was the largest military strike Indonesia had ever planned and titled, with the aim of a massive attack on the Dutch military forces in the land of West New Guinea. But rather than showing the Semesta War Strategy succeeded, The studies will show the impact of the Semesta War strategy from a Defense Economics perspective. The writing employs historical methods of heuristic criticism consisting of internal and external criticism and the historiography of history in which interpretation, exposition, and presentation from a literature study of the writings of the perpetrators of Trikora history. The results suggest that operation Trikora is one of the implementations of the Indonesia Semesta War Strategy, it was successful to achieve its strategic goal, but, with expensive sacrifice.

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of smartphone use on the cognitive speed of gifted students and its utilization in their education. To gather data for the study, a self-developed questionnaire was administered to 280 students in the region. The findings of the study revealed that smartphone usage may enhance intuitive thinking among gifted students but does not necessarily enhance their critical thinking and creativity. Additionally, the study highlighted that excessive use of smartphones could lead to poor concentration, depression, and anxiety, among other negative effects. While smartphones can be beneficial for gifted students to enhance their learning and improve academic performance, excessive and uncontrolled use of smartphones may have a detrimental impact on students' academic outcomes. The study concludes that the use of smartphones could positively influence the intuitive (emotional) thinking and social lives of gifted students. However, it is important to note that smartphones might negatively affect their critical and analytical thinking. Smartphones play a significant role in young people's lives and can impact education positively. Limiting their use in education may hinder access to knowledge in society.

This study aims to determine the form of the moral relation of Pancasila as Indonesia's legal ideology and law enforcers in guarding the reform of Indonesian criminal law. The conceptual approach was used as a basis for thinking to help answer the problem, and a qualitative analysis was carried out. The study results show that the reflection of Pancasila morality on criminal law enforcement officials in Indonesia is inspired to guide the use of their functions and powers as the primary basis of its morality. Criminal law enforcement officials with Pancasila moral insight can guard criminal law reform because of moral relations reflected in the integrity of criminal law enforcement officials. This study implies that it is necessary to optimize the realization of the integrity of law enforcement officials with Pancasila morality to realize the ideals of justice in enforcing Indonesian law. Pancasila morality can form the integrity of law enforcement officials in using their functions and authority to face the determination of other elements outside the law.
