An exploratory study on digital learning innovations (MOOCS): The future of higher education 数字学习创新探索研究:高等教育的未来

Abstract The COVID -19 pandemic has transformed many aspects of life and one of the hard hit sector is Education. The situation has forced us to build virtual alliances and e-learning system which never happened before to fill the formal learning void. Many colleges and universities are relying on tailor-made and existing online courses from other institutions to ensure academic continuity for students. In this reference, this paper tends to explore the changing trends in Higher Education due to the massification of online courses called Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in India. Also the study highlights the comparison between students remote learning and online learning from parents perspective. For this purpose data is collected via both open and closed ended questionnaire and is statistically analysed. The findings reveals that MOOCs and online education have certainly breached the presential learning regulations and acts as a catalyst for higher education reform by offering an array of opportunities and competencies at a relatively low cost. However, they are nowhere close to replacing face to face instructor led learning. The study recommends that online education can be seen as a step in the right direction towards democratizing education but cannot be a cure for all the global education problems or a replacement for campus-based learning. The insights from this study can be helpful in developing a blended system of learning which brings in positive energy and supports teachers, students and professionals learning towards sustainable development.

Abstract Organizational culture is the gathering of ideas, concepts, the pattern of working conditions and relationships that separate one business enterprise from others. This affects unique humans differently due to how they think consciously. Unconsciously, making choices depends on what they see and listen to and do after feeling it. The study hypothesis is that an organization’s organizational tradition can envisage women employees’ job satisfaction. The significant shape of culture changed into domination, solidity and the rule of thumb of law. Most women employees would like to be in friendly surroundings wherein they agree, illicit relationships between colleagues succeed, private pursuits are considered, and crew work is rewarded. Ensuring the properly-being of personnel will enhance their productivity and productiveness and make businesses, organizations and corporations more viable, particularly in instances of economic emergency. The consequences of cutting-edge research can be carried out to develop domestic and overseas markets.

Impact of COVID-19 on the Indian banking system COVID-19对印度银行体系的影响

Abstract This paper has been designed to understand the effect of COVID-19 on the Indian banking industry. The spread of COVID-19 has dismantled the functioning of all the sectors of the economy. The financial sector is one of the most prioritised sectors and banks are the most important component of the financial system of the country. This report compares the pre and post COVID period to arrive at a fair conclusion about most affected instruments of banks. The policies and measures taken by the Central Bank and the Union to combat the tragedy have been listed for accurate results. The report also highlights several suggestions which are necessary to implement to revive the banking output.

Abstract Technological advancements, globalization, and digitalization have initiated various innovations across the globe transforming consumer needs and their ways to interact with brands and technology. Voice-based Artificial Intelligence, for the past few years, has been widely accepted and used by consumers worldwide for routine and special purposes. Nowadays, its presence can be felt across the majority of sectors like Healthcare, Education & Training, Entertainment, Automobile, and Retail. With its exciting unique features and convenience, there is no denial of voice being the future. Consumers have the power to decide the fate and success of an innovation. Thus, it is essential for organizations, innovators, and marketers who wish to increase technology adoption rates and reduce the barriers to acceptance of voice-based artificial intelligence among digital natives to evaluate the influence of numerous variables. This study aims to identify the motivators and inhibitors of the adoption of voice assistants among digital natives along with understanding their privacy perceptions about voice-based artificial intelligence. To examine the acceptance of voice-based artificial intelligence and its usage by youngsters, the researchers have proposed a comprehensive model to examine the relationship between various variables affecting consumer behaviourial intention. The study will be a significant addition to the previous literature as very limited studies have tried to understand the acceptance of voice assistants taking digital natives as consumers.

Effect of competency on employee performance and the mediating role of commitment: An empirical investigation in the IT Industry 胜任力对员工绩效的影响及承诺的中介作用——IT行业的实证研究

Abstract Competency and commitment are the two major determinants of employee performance in the IT industry. With growing competition and demand, IT professionals are always at the edge to showcase performance. The present study discusses the issue by utilizing the dimension of competency from the Iceberg model, the commitment model by Allen & Meyer (1990). The study sought to ascertain the influence of competency on employee performance and commitment, as well as the function of commitment in mediating the relationship between competency and employee performance. A standardised questionnaire was created and disseminated to software company workers for this purpose. A total of 242 valid responses were collected from IT companies. SEM was employed to examine the association between the variables analysed as well as the hypothesis. The analysis concluded that the dimension of competence (knowledge, skills, and work attitude) positively impacts employee performance and commitment with (β = 0.57, 0.5, 0.48, 0.37, 0.41, 0.36) with p<0.05, indicating the acceptance of the hypothesis H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 & H6. Also, employee commitment had the highest impact on employee performance at β =0.76, p=.000, CR =6.21. Hypothesis H7 is accepted and concluded that employee commitment acts and serves as a mediator between employee performance and employee competency. This research will help IT companies to better understand employees and incorporate strategies that will enhance organizational performance.

Abstract Blockchain Technology will bring a revolutionary change to the food supply chain (FSC). It will improve the visibility and traceability of the flow of food products. This study examined blockchain technology adoption in food supply chain industries in India. This study tried to examine the traceability of the food products across the food supply chain by using blockchain technology. This study will be beneficial to food industries who are thinking for a tracing and tracking mechanisms. The result shows the positivity for blockchain technology adoption in FSC industries. Also, it laid the foundation for blockchain technology adoption in FSC industries to achieve operational excellence. This study shows that with the adoption of blockchain FSC sectors can achieve sustainability in their operations and supply chain.

Abstract Customer retention has always challenged the service industry. Banks being a part of this industry have two different elements to satisfy, investors and borrowers. This study highlights the components that can enrich the customer satisfaction out of three major antecedents i.e. through service quality, customer perception and company goodwill. The study is conducted through a structured questionnaire with 329 respondents and validated through Cronbach’s Alpha and the relationship between the variables is measured through Pearson’s correlation and linear regression model. Abstract Corporate governance is a critical component of effective human resource management practices. Since nothing can be said about the appropriate function of corporate governance regulations and standards without mentioning HRM, which are one of the grounds for achieving the organization’s planned objectives. In this context, it is necessary to consider an organization’s human resources, which include both corporate governance and employees, and can think of them as a subset of the settings where a business would try to boost investments in order to accomplish added value. In this purpose the present paper aims to study the role of corporate governance in human resource management with reference to employee perceptions in Hindustan Shipyard Limited. In this purpose a purposive sampling method has been followed to collect data from the selected respondents working in study organization. To reach the objectives of the study and test the hypothesis, descriptive and regression analyses have been done. Thus, the findings demonstrate corporate governance and human resources are interdependent, with each influencing and being influenced by the other.

Abstract India is having 2nd largest number of road network across the world. Transportation has come in front of us as a regnant part of India. Objectives: Increasing vehicles creating a lot of traffic congestion at toll plazas, therefore manual toll collection system is eliminated with fastag due to a lot of drawbacks. It is a kind of mini device that employs RFID technology, which makes collection of tolls easy and fast. Under this type of system, a RFID chip installed sticker, stick on the vehicle and amount gets automatically deducted from the bank account, in addition, with it numerous benefits to travelers as well as the highways authority of India. But still customers are facing a lot of problems while passing through toll plaza. Methodology: This study was focused on both the primary and the secondary data. To evaluate the factors one sample t-statistics was used for statistical analysis. Findings: The result showed that after implementing Robotic Process Automation numbers of factors like stress, time and satisfaction level came out, which were affecting the performance of toll plazas. Conclusion: The present study tries to detect whether Robotic Process Automation has any significant impact on the performance of toll plazas or not.

Interrelationship of deposits and borrowings with capital adequacy ratio empirical analysis of Indian banks 存款和借款与资本充足率的相关性印度银行的实证分析

Abstract Banks garner deposits from public and the funds so raised are employed in lending and other operations to generate profits for the entity. As deposits constitute major share of bank funds and are raised from public at large, it is imperative that banks maintain adequate capital funds with capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to ensure security of deposits and confidence of population in banking structure. In addition to deposits, banks also employ borrowings to generate business funds. Capital in banks symbolizes the soundness and resilience of banks being a cushion against potential losses. When asset quality deteriorates due to environmental or business factors, capital comes to rescue to absorb losses. This saves the liability components of deposits and borrowing provided capital has enough absorption capacity measured in relation to riskiness of assets. This capacity is measured by Capital to Risk Weighted Assets ratio, a proportion of capital funds to risk adjusted assets. The objective of study is to examine the association which exists between CAR and how it is impacted by other two elements neighbouring it in the liability side of bank balance sheet viz. share of deposit in total liabilities and share of borrowing in total liabilities. Forty Indian banks have been included in study, twenty each from category of Government owned public banks and banks in the private sector. The study has shown that the percentage share of deposit has negative relationship with CAR and so depositors have to be wary of the availability of requisite capital in banks’ books to guarantee their safety. The share of borrowing has, however, opposite effect. The results are of significance for bank management.
