The article presents the definition and assessment of the role of human potential in ensuring the quality of the implementation of the educational program in the conditions of higher education. It has been proven that the European integration of Ukraine involves ensuring the quality of higher education in order to prepare a competitive specialist for the domestic and international labor market. Specialist training is a multidimensional process that requires special attention to human potential and human resources. Creating adequate conditions for the preparation of competitive human capital also requires a decent level of scientific and pedagogical workers involved in the implementation of the educational program. It is well-founded that the quality of implementation of educational programs depends on the activity of cooperation of internal and external stakeholders. The quality of the implementation of the educational program will be facilitated by systematic measures to improve the professionalism of teachers and the effectiveness of clear and transparent procedures for monitoring the professionalism of scientific and pedagogical workers. It was established that the management of the educational program at the academic level is carried out by the guarantor, whose task is the organization of the collegial development of the educational program, the implementation of quality control of the work of scientific and pedagogical workers, the analysis and implementation of the best experience of world and domestic higher education in the content and technology of the implementation of the educational program; interaction with employers and graduates, etc.It is proven that the development of the educational program requires an effective system of personnel development, the creation of opportunities for self-improvement and self-development of scientific and pedagogical workers who implement the educational program, a systematic study of their professional needs and requests.

The article analyzes the basic demographic indicators of the crisis in Ukraine, reveals signs of the accumulated problems of the nationʼs aging and natural population decline, which allow to assess the situation in Ukraine as a depopulation. A significant deterioration of the demographic background and a qualitative change in the population structure of Ukraine after February 24, 2022 were recorded: irreversible human losses, emigration, reduction of the average birth rate, etc.A correlation was found between the number of children born in the corresponding year and the dynamics of the capacity of educational services. It was found that higher education in Ukraine will face the biggest demographic challenges in 17+ years. Challenges for higher education in Ukraine have been identified: a systematic reduction in the capacity of educational services and the need to significantly optimize educational offers on the market and the number of domestic higher education institutions; brain-drain and a weakening intellectual capital of the Ukrainian nation; a decrease in the export of Ukrainian higher education and the attraction of foreigners to the economy of Ukraine; devaluation of higher education in Ukraine. In the context of the strategic reconstruction of the state and restoration of the human capital of Ukraine, it is suggested that higher education can be considered and used as an effective tool of state policy in the cycle: obtaining national higher education ‒ demand on the labor market and involvement in the national economy ‒ financial security, an active civic position and loyalty to the state ‒ improving demographic indicators and overcoming the demographic crisis.

The article proves the relevance of the problem of forming students’ value orientations in the European educational space. The concept of “value orientations” is considered. The key value orientations of students in the European educational space are identified: understanding and respect for human rights, equality, justice, tolerance, environmental awareness, cultural diversity. It has been established that in Europe, understanding and respect for human rights is based on declarations and conventions that enshrine fundamental rights and freedoms, such as the right to life, freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom of speech, the right to a fair trial, the inviolability of the person and many others. It is revealed that the concept of justice is related to ethical principles and moral values, such as respect for others, tolerance, solidarity and mutual understanding. It is proved that environmental awareness is an important value in Europe, which contributes to sustainable development and environmental protection. The main ways of forming the value orientations of higher education students are outlined: project-based learning, discussions, role-playing and modeling, the use of various sources of information, creating a favorable atmosphere, raising civic awareness, intercultural approach in education. The author emphasizes the key role of the teacher in shaping students’ value orientations. The article investigates and substantiates the peculiarities of introducing podcasts and videocasts into English language classes to develop students' listening skills. The use of podcasts enables a new approach to such an activity as listening. The variety of podcasts and their topics is remarkable, so they can be used at different stages of language learning. The authors reveal the effectiveness of implementing this teaching method in the educational process and highlight the main innovative possibilities of applying podcasting. Foreign language teachers who use audio blogs in the teaching process usually distinguish two ways of using podcasts: firstly, information can be listened to, and secondly, you can create your own products in the classroom or beyond. Thus, in order to achieve the final result, it is necessary to take a learning tool approach to podcasts and videocasts, select the minimum and ensure that this experimental minimum is firmly mastered. The aim is to develop studentsʼ grammar, listening, speaking and writing skills. Ultimately, learners are able to distinguish between podcasts and videocasts when reading and listening, while still receiving meaningful information. It is postulated that specially created educational audio blogs can be aimed at developing the skills of listening and comprehension of coherent audio text, while authentic podcasts provide information for oral or written reflection or discussion. The features and capabilities of podcasts provide a new and relevant quality of the foreign language learning process, contribute to the development of not only the motivation of students, but also their initiative and determination, deepen their listening and hearing abilities, which certainly has a positive impact on improving the effectiveness of the learning process.

The article examines the main theoretical and methodological features of forming the readiness of future Biology and Health Basics teachers for innovative educational and pedagogical activities. The relevance of this topic is that the current education reform (changing the status of educational institutions, introducing modular programs, innovative changes in the assessment of students’ knowledge, optimizing the number of subjects) requires the expansion of theoretical and methodological knowledge about the implementation of innovative educational and pedagogical activities, which should be transformed into practical activities of a modern teacher. Substantiating the issue of innovative educational and pedagogical activities in the system of education as a whole, its essential characteristic is the improvement or updating of the entire educational content by creating, disseminating and mastering new effective ways and means of achieving the educational goals set by modernity. The purpose of the article is to actualize the peculiarities of the future teacher’s readiness for innovative educational and pedagogical activities.Today’s education in Ukraine is focused on the need to introduce a variety of approaches to solving new (reformist) educational tasks, and their active implementation in the theory and practice of professional and pedagogical activities. Innovative educational transformations require a particularly high level of theoretical knowledge and practical and professional training of the future teacher. Modern realities (modular programs, criteria for assessing the knowledge of students, etc.) require the future teacher to have a readiness to develop professionally, test and implement pedagogical innovations in the process of teaching such subjects as Biology and the Basics of Health, as this becomes a necessary component of his/her professional readiness.Having considered the essence and components of readiness for innovative activity, factors and conditions of its formation in future teachers of biology and health basics, we can draw the following conclusions:1. Formation of readiness for innovative activity in future teachers who will teach Biology and Health Basics in educational institutions of various types is one of the urgent problems of modern science and practice. Innovative activity in the education system involves rethinking, improving or updating educational practice by creating, improving and mastering new effective methods, techniques, ways and means of achieving the established goals in education.2. Readiness for innovation is an integral multi-vector quality of a personality, characterized by the presence and a certain level of formation of motivational and orientational, content and operational, and evaluative and reflective components in their unity, which is manifested in the desire for innovation, which is an update of teacher’s professional growth.3. The standards of modern education set before every teacher the task of forming a person of a new generation – creative, active, proactive, one who uses innovative approaches in solving problem situations. The concept of the New Ukrainian School puts forward new requirements for the organization of education for those seeking education. It is possible to implement this work only when each student performs his educational process as effectively as possible. Traditional methods of education aimed at improving the information system of education do not provide the opportunity to fully reveal the inner creative and intellectual potential of each person, because it continues to be dominated by the traditional psychological and informational approach, which is aimed at developing memorization skills, rather than thinking and acting, and not the development of all psychological processes of the individual, which he should involve in the learning process. The article highlights the problems of using interactive learning technologies in the school natural science course “Getting to Know Nature”. Interactive technologies of collective and group learning (“microphone”, “unfinished sentences”, “brainstorming”, “teaching – learning”, “openwork saw”, “situation analysis are considered”), “decision tree” and others. It is noted that such an organization of training creates a special educational environment for personality development. Through mutual learning, experience in solving problems based on its theoretical understanding and application is acquired.
