The Influence of Nonformal Education on Students' Cognitive Formation 非正规教育对学生认知形成的影响

In the world of education, it is categorized into two, namely education in schools and education outside of school. Out-of-school education or it can be said that non-formal education is education for the community, in this case, students who need educational services to complement the deficiencies of formal education. This research was conducted at Tridaya Tutoring with a quantitative research approach. This research method uses survey methods and correlation analysis to see the interrelationships of students' creative thinking and critical thinking variables based on cognitive stages, namely formal, transitional, and concrete thinking stages. The population of this study were class XII students at Bimbel Tridaya with a sample of 53 students. The research instrument used tests and questionnaires. Obtained pretest data showed that there was a difference in the average initial ability of students in the experimental class and control class in creative and critical thinking and the average posttest final ability of creative and critical thinking of experimental class students was better than the average control class. The improvement of students' creative and critical thinking skills in the experimental class was obtained better than that of the control class students. Learning outcomes with students' cognitive levels at the formal, transitional, and concrete stages have differences and do not have a significant influence on the development of student learning outcomes, but there is an association between students' creative and critical thinking abilities.

With the increasing number of older people, this community’s protection, welfare, and independence must run well. This research will then be carried out to see how the implementation of elderly schools can empower the elderly to stay healthier and independent through non-formal education. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The data obtained are sourced from various research results and studies that are relevant to this research. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of elderly schools in Central Java province has been carried out for a long time. The implementation of this elderly school is the implementation of lifelong education policies by participating in non-formal education, which is carried out regularly and well planned. Then in its implementation, the elderly school also provides various facilities such as mentors and health and social services carried out by various local institutions.

Burai Village has quite potential for tourism, supported by natural resources and human resources. This tourist object is known as the Burai Tourism Village which is a tourist object developed by displaying natural beauty such as flowing rivers, culture, religion, skills products and attractive colorful building forms. It is not impossible that there is potential that can still be developed for the sustainability of the Burai Tourism Village. Therefore, potential mapping is useful for inventory and analysis of tourism potential in Burai Village. The purpose of this study is to see the potential and mapping of development strategies that can be carried out for Burai Village. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis to identify and explore the tourism potential, development, characteristics, and management of Burai Village. The results of the study show that Burai Tourism Village has enough potential resources, both natural, human resources, religion, skills and socio-cultural products as a tourist attraction. Burai Village in principle does not yet have a permanent sustainable tourism development strategy, it is necessary to structuring existing tourist attractions and uniqueness, as well as strengthening human resources, so that it is necessary to develop aspects of service, promotion, development of creative industries and tourism physical facilities.

Ngemplak Hamlet is one of the hamlets in Sumbersuko village in Wagir District, especially located on the slopes of Mount Kawi. Wagir District is located between the slopes of Mount Kawi. This hamlet is one of the hamlets in Sumbersuko village that has physical potential in terms of abundant natural resources, especially in the food sector. The people of Ngemplak Hamlet are able to make various food preparations that come from local food ingredients. Nowadays, tourists are starting to like tourist attractions that not only provide natural beauty but also community interaction. The local food village tourism facilitator has the role of providing information to tourists about the local culinary specialties that exist and the typical dishes of the people in Sumbersuko Village that are served to tourists. The concept of local food tourism villages will indirectly require the community, especially village youth, to act as facilitators of local food. However, the lack of information regarding the potential of villages in Ngemplak hamlet by the community, especially teenagers, especially regarding local food, is one of the obstacles when tourists come to their area. There is a need for assistance to prepare teenagers in Ngemplak Hamlet to be trained to increase their knowledge and skills as local food facilitators, which can be an added value for visiting tourists. The objectives of community service are as follows: (1) Empowering teenagers as facilitators of local food tourism villages in increasing their knowledge and skills in processing local food in Ngempalk Village Hamlet; (2) Provide assistance to the management and members of the local food tourism village in Ngemplak Hamlet, Sumbersuko Village in introducing the tourism village through social media; (3) Provide assistance to local food education tourism village administrators in managing the tourism village so that it can run and survive as one of the tourist village destinations in Malang Regency.

Assistance in the Management of Entrepreneurship-Based Nonformal Educational Institutions and Institutional Digital Marketing 协助管理以创业为基础的非正规教育机构和机构数字营销

The low knowledge and interest of the community to glance at the existence of Community Learning Centers (CLC) as non-formal educational institutions is often a problem for administrators to maintain the existence of non-formal education in the community. Therefore, it is necessary to assist in the management of non-formal educational institutions based on entrepreneurship and digital marketing as a self-branding effort for community learning center institutions. This activity was carried out by applying training and mentoring methods which were carried out in several stages, namely identification and survey, followed by socialization and implementation, the activity stage, and the last stage was evaluation. This activity was carried out at the Budi Utama Community Learning Center in Surabaya, and attended by managers of non-formal educational institutions throughout the city of Surabaya. The results obtained from this activity were seen through the performance of the speakers, target participants, participants' abilities after mentoring, and the implementation of post-coaching skills by the managers, and overall satisfactory results were obtained and the assisting participating institutions could implement the material well in managing their institutions. So, it can be concluded that this activity can be carried out as an effort to develop potential while increasing the income of CLC institutions so that institutions can experience financial development.

This activity was carried out by applying training and mentoring methods which were carried out in several stages, namely identification and survey, followed by socialization and implementation, the activity stage, and the last stage was evaluation. This activity was carried out at the Budi Utama Community Learning Center in Surabaya, and attended by managers of non-formal educational institutions throughout the city of Surabaya. The results obtained from this activity were seen through the performance of the speakers, target participants, participants' abilities after mentoring, and the implementation of post-coaching skills by the managers, and overall satisfactory results were obtained and the assisting participating institutions could implement the material well in managing their institutions. Mathematical disposition is one aspect that influences a person's success in learning, because mathematical disposition is a person's attitude towards appreciating mathematics. This research aims to describe the mathematical disposition of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at PGRI University of West Sumatra in the Basic Statistics course. The research subjects were 28 students from the class of 2021. The instruments used were a mathematics disposition questionnaire and interview sheets. Mathematical disposition is seen using 6 indicators, namely: 1) self-confidence, 2) curiosity, 3) feeling capable, 4) happy, diligent and diligent, 5) flexible, 6) reflective. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques in the form of percentages. The results of this research show that learning outcomes have increased from the average pretest score (62) to posttest score (87). Based on the results of the Shapiro-Wilk statistical test, it was obtained that 0.03 was smaller than 0.05 and had a normal distribution, so the results of this research were acceptable and had a significant effect on students' mathematical disposition through the CTL approach.

Non-commissioned officers are part of the Polri members who are the foremost public servants in carrying out their police duties so the success of the Polri is largely determined by the level of competence possessed by each personnel, including aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, especially from elements of leadership in stages in the unity. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by researchers using observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on qualitative research methods, all facts, both written and oral, from primary and secondary data sources are described as they are and then studied to be reduced as concisely as possible to answer the problem. Data analysis techniques in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. In carrying out character education, the role of caregivers is vital in developing student character because they have to accompany students every day and are fully responsible for the development of students until they graduate with a minimum score obtained of 65 based on Perkap Number 02 of 2017.

Seribu Gonjong Tourist Village (SARUGO) which is located in Jorong Sungai Dadok, Nagari Koto Tinggi, Gunung Omeh District, Limapuluh Kota, West Sumatra is one of 50 villages that was named the best tourist village by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. This achievement cannot be separated from the role of Pokdarwis in managing natural and cultural tourism. The Minangkabau social system, which is known to uphold a sense of togetherness, has an impact in developing programs for independence and improving the community's economy through community empowerment. Empowerment is defined as an effort to fulfill the desired needs of individuals, groups and communities, in controlling their environment so that they can fulfill their desires, including accessibility to resources related to their work and developing the potential of local resources. Based on the description above, this research has the objectives of (1) To analyze the role of the Community Empowerment-based Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) in developing natural tourism potential in Seribu Gonjong Tourism Village. Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar agar peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya secara optimal, melalui proses pembelajaran. Jalur pendidikan nonformal sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional berfungsi sebagai pengganti, penambah dan/atau pelengkap pendidikan formal dalam rangka mendukung pendidikan sepanjang hayat (life-long education) dan mengembangkan potensi peserta didik dengan penekanan pada penguasaan pengetahuan dan keterampilan fungsional serta pengembangan sikap dan kepribadian profesional. Dengan terjadinya putus sekolah (drop out) atau lulus tidak melanjutkan dapat berdampak pada bertambahnya kemiskinan dan pengangguran selanjutnya akan dapat memicu munculnya permasalahan sosial seperti kejahatan, penyalahgunaan narkoba, pergaulan bebas, perdagangan orang (trafficking), maraknya demo yang anarkis, dan lemahnya daya saing bangsa. Lahirnya Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) merupakan respon adanya berbagai permasalahan di Indonesia yang membutuhkan dukungan satuan pendidikan nonformal untuk memecahkannya. Model pembelajaran yang diajarkan di PKBM berkaitan dengan semangat wirausaha mandiri; bahkan kegiatan-kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pun bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai inisiatif dan kesiapan dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja secara mandiri, dalam hal ini disebut sebagai kematangan vokasional. Penelitian ini berhasil memberikan pencerahan akan pentingnya jiwa kewirausahaan bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia, terutama para warga belajar program pendidikan Kesetaraan Paket C di PKBM Bina Mandiri Terpadu Kota Cimahi, apalagi dalam kerangka pembangunan sumber daya manusia (SDM) bangsa Indonesia yang cakap dan memiliki daya saing dalam menghadapi era AFTA dan MEA saat ini.
